I was looking into getting a new piece for my living room but the way im about to transform the cube i already have. You are a blessing for sharing this.
You can also use hot glue with wood glue to put it together would hold for that or then could put bracket on if you don’t have two people and want a tight gap
Nice job, love how it came out, have the same one. Would love to do this to mine. Can you please provide the measurements of the pine wood for the frame of the doors when you cut it into the 4 pieces and measurements for the legs.
Thank you! It was so fun to make. The measurements for the door frame will depend on the size of your cube organizer/cabinet. As for the legs, I believe we did about 5 inches for the legs! Hope that helps.
It was a 2x2" piece of wood that we used because the cabinet was more for looks and wasn't going to carry anything too heavy, however if you want more function, we would recommend getting a more solid piece of wood like a beam or ready to go wooden legs!
Thank you so much! I wish I could remember the exact measurements. I would measure your cabinet and make sure to cut the wood accordingly! When I have a chance, I'll go back and measure.
I like the frame of the door. Much better and quicker than some other hacks I have seen. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I love simple and uncomplicated when it comes to refurbishing!
This is perfect. I love the simplicity, as well as being able to use what you have.
Thank you for sharing your process. Can you tell me how you measured for the doors please?

What a great job in upcycling your shelf!
Thank you so much!
Good job; it would have been smoother if you had glued the pieces together first; then put on the brackets.
Good idea I'll do that when I make mine. Thanks

@@bibisweet6711 that’s a great idea to repurpose a bookcase! Thanks for watching 😊
Not sure if it would have worked, but a 90 degree carpenter square may have help better keep the corner pieces together to prevent gaps.
That is really smart! Kudos...
Thank you so much!

Glad I could help!
They make a corner vise which would eliminated the two person operation in case you have to do this again.
Good idea! In case you have to do it alone, that's a great solution!
Looks great. Well done.
Thank you so much!
Very nice, real DIY 😊
Thank you!!
I love love love this! great job
Thank you so much!
A clamp to hold the corners?

This was amazing! What were your measurements For the wood?
Thank you so much! I wish I could remember the exact measurements. I would measure your cabinet and make sure to cut the wood accordingly!
Nice.i would layer the burlap from inside on all the edges with something that can mask the staples?
That's a great idea to layer it on the inside for a thicker lining!
? the door hinges used in the video are different from what appears using the link you provided.
They may be slightly different due to product availability on Amazon, but will still work great!
Love it!
Glad you love it!
Goo job, I love it.
Thank you so much!
Very cute
Thank you so much!
Very nice!! 😊
Thank you so much!
The cabinet hinges you linked doesn’t match the one in your video. Can you provide the correct link? Thank you!
Unfortunately I cannot find the same one online. I'll keep searching and will try to update if I find it.
Cute!
Thank you so much!
@@freshcupofjoy you're welcome!
What did you buy to make your legs? Like what size of beam of wood?

Beautiful! What sizes did you end up cutting the pine boards for the door?
Thank you so much! I wish I could remember the exact measurements. I would measure your cabinet and make sure to cut the wood accordingly! When I have a chance, I'll go back and measure.
Wood glue and clamps would have worked well then brad nailer.
That's a great idea, especially if I were on my own!
It is absolutely beautiful 🤩.
Awsome
Thank you!!
Beautiful, but seems like a lot of tools and work for a DIY. It’s really nice though.
It's a labor of love for sure, and that's the non-monetary cost to affordable DIY's. Thanks for the love.
This is a lot of work. The cost of your own labor is huge and MUST be considered in the total cost. Its not $30. Way more than that
I think she's just talking about the money part
Absolutely! The labor will take time and effort, but the monetary cost is under $30.
