Rachel, what a nice treat to see you back. I always enjoy your makeovers. I love watching people upcycle Ikea furniture. You did a great job on this one.🌺😀
I was unsure about the blue at first but it's such a pretty colour! An achievable DIY too! I unfortunately don't have room for a workshop in my little condo to attempt this, but that's what parents and their fully decked out garage is for 😉 Can't wait for the new series on Saturday! Much love from Montreal 🩷
I love Rachael’s energy and style, so I’m super excited to see a new video featuring her! That light blue color is beautiful! Light and dusty/muted blues are one of my colors that I love decorating with! I’ve been OBSESSED with blue lately.
happy to see rachel back! this bench turned out great, I especially like how the arches look! I think I voted for the orange color in ig but now I think it would've been too dark. personally I would've painted it a warm yellow if I was making it, but this blue is the best one from the colors you were choosing from!
I’m glad to see you back! We missed you. I like the piece a lot, I think it’s a super cool way to use a kallax unit and I haven’t seen someone turn it in it’s side like this. One change I would make (just cause I love tall arches) is putting four legs and having them be where the side of the arches come down so it looks like the arches are part of the structural design of the piece. Such a cool idea, I hope I find a kallax unit to do this to
I really like the arches; adds a bit of fun/flair; thinking I may just steal this idea for a chest I already own. 🤔 Glad to see you abd excited fir the upcoming new adventures!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! Have a blessed day and a fantabulous week!! xxoo
So, so, SO Happy To see you Rachael!!!!!! Always love the channel uploads but, oh my word, i was a lil worried about you girl! ❤ stunning you, and stunning project - as ALWAYS!!!!!!!
Oh this project you did really is so great looking, thanks for sharing another wonderful video that was a lot of fun to watch. Have a great and blessed day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😂🥰💜
Very excited about the new show! I’m too impatient to only have one video per week 😂. To K & B, how far you’ve come and grown this empire from DIY Halloween costumes to renovating full houses, is astounding!
Very nice bench. I think I like the rust color better. :) Just because you have the glue in your storage room does not mean it is free. You should always calculate or tack on 1.00 at least. One day you will have to buy more glue and the good stuff is expensive. I was told that as a professional artist, a portion of the cost of art is the tools. A few cents/dollars here and there for brushes, as they do wear out, a portion for palette use, a portion for paint used, etc. You put that cost money in a jar for restocking your supplies. NOW.. this works the other way too... if you buy a pail of paint but don't use all of it on a project... you don't charge the full cost to the project. Fair is fair. I know a lot of people would say this is too much work or too nit picky with pennies.. fair enough, but you don't have to measure the glue in the entire bottle, use some, then measure again, figure out the amount you used, figure out the tax, etc. Use guestimate sense. :) As this was for charity, it is great that you did not charge for all those things. :)
I've seen this done so much but no one ever really covers the weight limit. Imagine two people who are 175lbs sit on this .. then what? can it withstand? I'd say 175 is a standard weight across the board.. what are your thoughts here?
Make the lid a front door! As a person who lives with several handy dandy storage benches, they're actually not that handy when you have to take all the plants and pillows off every time you need to access the storage. If you're doing this DIY, simply flip the design so that the cubbies face out and the door flips down. Storage and display forever in harmony.
Yay, you’re back❣️ Had to pause only a minute in to tell you (again🤭), the workshop makeover is DREAMY❣️ I have 3 of these in my garage that I want to change and am so excited to see what you do with yours! Damn I love Tuesdays❣️❣️❣️
Please clarify what Behr paint you used ! The link is for Benjamin Moore Van Courtland Blue, but clearly you bought Behr paint at home depot. What is the actual paint colour you used?
Hehe I forgot about the blond brows so I was surprised by them all over again😂
team blond brows!!
i can't unsee uncle fester 😭
You look 70 years old with this lol
The eyebrows take her 'Phoebe' weird girl vibes to the appropriate level to match her personality. Before she looked too normal for her awesomeness.
Plot twist: don't mind looking 70, bc all the 70 year old ppl I know are the kindest
Rachel, what a nice treat to see you back. I always enjoy your makeovers. I love watching people upcycle Ikea furniture. You did a great job on this one.🌺😀
yay! thank you 💘
All the comment girlies can take a breath - Rachael is alive and kicking ass.

💖 and how amazing was this IKEA HACK?
I'm excited for From the Workshop Floor! Saturday mornings are my "cozy videos" mornings and this is going to really hit the spot! See you Saturday!
Good to see you back! When they said there was some changes coming up, i got worried.
Oooh. The actual announcement! ❤ 6:00
i feel like it would also be so cute in a dual tone such as olive and maroon for the arches
Yessss! I was just sitting and thinking wow I think I would like it in the sort of a mauve-ish pink with some other color as a contrast
OMG WE MISSED YOU SO MUCH GURL!!!! ✨🥺
back with an amazing project! 💘
I was unsure about the blue at first but it's such a pretty colour! An achievable DIY too! I unfortunately don't have room for a workshop in my little condo to attempt this, but that's what parents and their fully decked out garage is for 😉

I am so excited that you girls will be appearing together on Saturdays!! It will be great. Yesssss!!!!
Yay all 4 of you together!! And every saturday 🥹
I used 3 2X2 kallax units to make a cabin bed in my studio flat with lots of storage. Kallax are so versatile
That’s genius!

ouuu yellow would have been beautiful too! 😍

Ahhh I loved the orange too, but I'm glad the blue won out instead of the cream!
Great idea, turning a shelf unit into a bench, well done and the arches add a great touch, really elevates the piece.
so chic, right?! 💘
I love it! I would have done the main piece blue and the cut outs that orange but I love it
RACHAEL!!! I don’t know if you can tell but we’ve all missed you ❤
The ikea hacks are coming in strong lately. Love it!!
I really like the arches; adds a bit of fun/flair; thinking I may just steal this idea for a chest I already own. 🤔

I was just looking at overlays on Etsy just like this!
Missed you Rachel!
Yay, Project Profit! It's been a minute.
Have you tried brown eyeliner and mascara? Might look interesting with the blond brows, as it will give a little less contrast than the black makeup
Very nice bench. I think I like the rust color better. :)

The feet don’t look sturdy enough for 2 people that's for sure...
Cool upcycle, nicely done. Question: what software do you use on the mac to render your designs?

Ouuu I’m so pumped for the next one

The brows got me… missed you😍 I was sad thinking you are no more a Sorry Girl.
blonde brows for the win!!
I am very sceptical about those legs… do they hold the weight if someone sits on the bench?
Awesome dyi, love the colour. I'm still crossing my fingers and am hoping you donate to Redwood Park Communities!
yipppeee a Rachel vid!!!
I love that the blue color won! I didn’t vote, but I was holding my breath at that part 😅
The burritos ruler 😆
Can you try doing your eye makeup with a basic cream colour, shimmery eyeshadow and white mascara? Just curious how that would turn out
I forgot about the brow but I am super surprised how I like them.
you're car is soooo cute !!!
Good job
6 minutes! 🎉 love it!
💞
Looks like the darker brows may be coming back...hope so! You did an awesome job on the Kallax!

Because of the color and the arches, it looks like a cloud ☁
Love it.
Can you do an IKEA hack for adding drawers to a Havsta base cabinet?? 🎉❤❤
