In changing the handle bar does the wiring needs to be changed?? Coz i have heard its difficult to raise handle bar more than 1 inch in this bike with stock wiring??
Bro I have a Royal Enfield Standard 350 UCE very basic version (2012), however planning to upgrade to D400 please suggest as I have very minimum riding hours on an disc brake motorcycle as all my experience is on drum brake motorcycles should I choose D400 or get used to discs and ABS on smaller motorcycles?
@@arjmonk Dude, there are lots of dangerous fake parts from China, be careful if the price is too good! Barkbusters or Acerbis handguards have double mount points and are made from quality metal. Even if you dropped the bike, they'd still survive as long as the handlebar itself did, I'm saying except tarmac, most! You could replace the plastic cover if it broke. Doubletake mirrors, would not break because they're flexible! I have a Himalayan and I'm still running company hand guards, but I'd still buy Acerbis or Barkbusters next time, because of the double mount points, I just didn't buy them for 10k, maybe upto 5k!
Dude if you keep cruising 130-140, you'll die. 100 is more than sufficient for Indian roads as a cruising speed. A quick punch to 120 is enough for almost all overtaking moves. If you're trying to race superbikes/sportsbikes, it's a different story. :-D

I Like KTM bikes alot specially for their super speed and flexibility in the city driving, But ADV 390 is no way closer to RE himalayan, Yeah Top speed wise KTM takes the lead but why the ADV tag when its not meant to go proper Offroading, give it tag as a touring machine. @Strell big fan Man, Keep doing the excellent job you are doing!

But I would like to say removing the CATCON from the bike or over-riding it will lead to legal issues when a traffic cop catches and he knows why these systems are in place, it's for BS6 norms. Same goes with the AOH too, if u override it cops may take legal actions. Sometimes they seize the bike too, recently 2 bikes were fined 10k for removing the CATCON in Bangalore and for loud exhausts. Check out the content before promoting any of these aftermarket accessories which doesn't comply with the norms. Peace
