Himalayan is absolutely not flexible as xpulse coz it's weight and ergonomics and designed for dual purpose, still not doing 100% it's purpose i should say. Avdenture, Motocross, Enduro are all different category and different bikes belong to different category. Adv 390 isn't a dirt bike/enduro/motocross for sure. But it's most of a tourer, on road and off road, surprisingly it does more than it offer on paper due to the KTM gene 😁. Interceptor is also good budget friendly option, barring the front suspension, even for which you can get aftermarket upgrades. Also the g310 gs falls in the same price range which is 20kgs heavier and refined, but a bit low on power, atleast 9hp. Maxxi scooters? Wth are those, no bro 😁😁

Full disclosure. Not a "vlogger" of any kind but a rider for sure. Spent about 10 odd mins during a test drive. Few observations that I made. the moment one would sit on it, it will give you a big bike feel. If you are say 5.8. 70 odd kgs and coming from duke 250 alike that is. Mostly cause of the handle is pretty wide and cause of the height of course. Engine will feel very different if you ride any current ktm lineup. It's pretty smooth. The clutch is quite light as well. But it does stall if your gear ratio isn't right in the lower gears. Which am not really surprised to be honest since I have been riding ktm. But if learnt anything from my past experiences it will become better with services. At least that's what I would hope. I coudnt flatfoot either although I wasn't wearing any shoe but even with shoe I doubt with my height I will be able to. But the good things is once u sit on it it feels as nimble as any other ktm. I even tried to stand on the footpeg and tried to move around the bike just to get the feel and I was surprised how nimble it feels. And the icing on the cake for me was less aggression. I really felt it shows maturity from ktm end. End of the day we ride in india and as of now it's not ready for such aggression yet. Overall feels good but almost 4 lac on road in bangalore feels a bit on higher side.
Could you please let me know your opinion between KTM 390 Adventure and Himalayan? I heard that suspension on KTM is stiffer compared to Himalayan and it has less torque below 4000 RPM. My main usage is touring and city commute. Could you please help?
If your soul purpose is touring and touring only then go for 390. But if u want to feel that twin cylinder power the classic looks and more refined engine go for interceptor. Also KTM is technologically more advanced whereas Interceptor is a classic retro styled with jus basic instrument cluster.
Bro, I bought FZ 150 V3 BS6 last month and enjoying it as a daily commuter. I also have a willingness to own a powerful naked sportsbike and thinking about Dominar 400. What do you think? Should I consider some other options too. I will be riding mostly in city and twice a month on highways.
GS has good seats man. But I don't recommend spending so much more money just for seating. KTM has got good power and features. I hope BMW will upgrade the 310 soon.😊

When u compare it with duke 390 adv...( 3.6 lakhs onroad mumbai) with old gs price... baby GS seems great deal.. Right now....they bloody charged 4.3 lakh onroad for gs 310.. 😒

No. U need a heavier bike. This bike would feel unstable at higher speeds.

Himalayan's suspension feels superior because of the travel. 390 might gets bottom out at time during hard-core terrains.
