As an Australian who spent six incredible years on Vancouver Isalnd, you are absolutely right to be excited for it. It’s one of the most incredible places on earth. Don’t forget to check out the Gulf Islands while you’re there. There are many you can take your van to and each has its own incredibly unique little community. Ask the locals where the “free store” is.
Made a few trips to the islands😅 on our Harleys from Washington state. Wonderful rides and memories. Our friends from Burnaby BC were great tour guides 🏍💨
Love your spirit and going with the journey flow. There is always a reason. Wishing sasha gentle recuperation. Music spot on. Gorgeous gorgeous closing shots.
Thank you so much for watching. We are very glad to hear you enjoyed the video 😊 That was the perfect ending to what had been a bit of a frustrating day on the road!
Thank you so much! Glad you are enjoying them. The build is really only a very small part of the journey that we hope to take you through with our videos! 🙌🏻
One recommendation! If you’re going to be in Banff - nearby is Canmore, which is super cute with great hikes nearby (plus Banff which is gorgeous!). And there’s an amazing vegan cafe/food spot called CommuniTEA
Omg we are literally on our way to this exact spot this morning to get some work done! We’ve been in Canmore for 2 days and it’s beautiful! Very difficult to park since they have lots of restrictions but we are staying nearby outside of town.
She’s doing much better. She had developed the beginning of bronchitis so that’s what the meds are for. We will have to monitor her long term so see if she will need an inhaler 🥺 thanks for watching! LOTS more of the ladies to come. We are kinda obsessed with them! 😻
I'm in Washington State, and have been to BC several times. The most memorable was a sailing trip around Vancouver Island so I'm looking forward to your next video.
Seems so funny as a Canadian to hear you're nervous about crossing the border but I suppose I've gone through the same crossing into the US. Loving the format of your vlogs and all the attention and care your girls receive. ❤
Vancouver and Vancouver Island have some great Vegan spots! I hope you get to try some of them while you are here😊 My partner and I have been enjoying your videos and really love this next chapter of your content. Thank you for taking us along on your journey.❤
Thank you so much! We are planning to make it out there so that is exciting to hear. Thanks for sticking with us through this next phase of the journey!
No worries! We hopped back up here two days later and have been enjoying our Canadian adventures again! Thank you for watching. We are loving the format of making these videos and plan to put a lot of effort into them from here on out ❤️
Welcome to Canada (from a Canadian (Quebec)). 😊 Yes we are known for always saying Please and Thank You, which for me is just plain being polite that puts a smile on everyone - why not? You ment Vancouver Island which is totally worth it. When you drive to Tofino, do not forget to stop at Cathedral Grove, which is approx in the middle of the island. This is a beautiful, not a hike, that is so worth it when you love the woods. Also, other must go to is Jasper and Banff - not just the towns but the drive thru the park - but you do need warm clothing and bit more than a thin puffy jacket - toque and gloves or mittens
My husband and I are taking our first trip across Canada soon. First vanlife experience too. Im nervous but looking forward to it. Im hoping he will like it so we could eventually do this full time 🙂
@@carolineroy9026 Thats amazing! Vanlife can be tough since there’s a lot to think about and navigate. It can also be incredibly rewarding because there are so many unexpected moments that are truly amazing. It’s pretty incredible to travel around with your home!
Make a trip over thru B.C. to A.B and visit Banff and Lake Louise. Don’t forget to visit Fernie B.C. Most of the best snow skiing in my life was done in CAN. and the scenery year round in western CA was breathtaking. And I can’t forget about a special person named Julie from RedDeer AB who made it all possible. I miss her😢
We made it over that way and made a video all about it that will go up this Friday! We also spent a few days in Fernie and loved it! Thanks for watching. So sorry for your loss.
Too funny (or maybe not funny for you). You handled the situation with good humour anyway and still soaked in some amazing scenery. Hope Sacha has recovered by now😊
Haha it’s funny to look back on. Honestly this is a lot of what comes with this lifestyle that you don’t often see in shorter clips. Sasha is feeling much much better now! Her loud meows will be back in next weeks video for sure!
Oh...I thought something bad had happened and you didn't like Canada....It'll be interesting to see why you had to leave... It was so sudden.... I'm a new subscriber from Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 Love that you are Vegan...The ladies are beautiful 💖💖
Honestly that is a little the game you have to play with TH-cam. We titled it that way to try to get more people to click on the video. I don’t really love doing it but hope to deliver authentic content after the thumbnail at the very least. 😅 We had to go back because our phones weren’t working and we needed to get some mail we couldn’t get sent to Canada. We are already back and are loving it! 🇨🇦❤️
Hey guys, love your videos! Sorry to hear about the cat's condition, I was told mine had asthma too and I gave him inhalers every day for about a year. Expensive gig, worth it if it helped, but... it didn't help. So I stopped giving it and nothing changed: he did not get worse or better. He also coughs regularly and it sounds strange, but he's otherwise healthy. I'm still not sure what it is exactly (further research would be very expensive), but the vet said that it was clearly not asthma even though that was the go-to diagnosis. So, get a 2nd opinion is what I'd like to recommend. It might save a lot of money and it might lead to a true diagnosis. Assuming it's not simply asthma, of course :)
Thanks for this thoughtful message. 😊 She has actually been doing very well and hasn’t had any attacks since this. We think the wildfire smoke in Montana bothered her a lot. We haven’t been prescribed an inhaler because they were wanting to see if it’s bad enough yet. We have a follow up in a few weeks to double check everything! 😊
We had to come back for a few reasons. Our phone service wasn’t working and they were sending SMS texts to our phones. We also had to get a package and couldn’t get it shipped to Canada. We are actually back in Canada now! 🇨🇦

There are pros and cons to both. The main pro of the van being the small footprint and that it’s combined to the build. It’s a vehicle and home in one which can be amazing but also stressful with car issues. We do get better gas mileage and can go more places in a van I feel! ❤️
@@scarletandsethto me it seems nice to be able a unhook the trailer and use a car to go around. And in a van it's nice to be able to go in the rear directly from cab.
