Happy Thanksgiving to you Hannah Lee❣ Thank you for being, creating and sharing with the World through your videos and Lupine Lane Co. All are truly beautiful creations❣ I appreciate You❣May you have happy and blissful Thanksgiving ❣♥️♥️
I live in the woods and have three cats that have a cat door. The cats have a tendency to bring home “friends”. This fall it was a mother raccoon with four babies. After extensive battling we got rid of them. Late this fall, momma came back. She was very respectful and only ate the leftover cat food from each day. I got some rabies baits from fish and game and made sure she got some of them. Now she is known as Friend and drops in about once a week or so. She never touches anything other than the cat food. I’m just waiting to wake up some mornings to her in the bed with me and the cats.
Please, write a children’s book of this adorable tale and include illustrations. I just live-trapped 110 mice from my house and garage, and my cat was caring for a small baby mouse underneath our guest bed. I’m pretty certain that he was purring at it for comfort.
They are cute but WOW did they ever turn that cabin upside down eh? Hopefully she’ll get it all snugged up and have them evicted by next trip out. So nice to get to see the cabins.
I'm so proud of you, Hannah. Following your north star from van life to cabins, business owner, homestead, NYC apartment, and now flying. And of course, sharing your journey with us and inspiring so many❤
This boy is prolly like holy crap Hannah is the craziest coolest chick and was probably not expecting half of this 😂 him being a city boy off guard for most of this has me cracking up!
I've lived in a forest for 30 years and have had all sorts if wildlife come in. Raccoons, opossums, squirrels, a snake or two, you name it. Never harmed any of them and just live in their environment with them. It's fun, except cleaning up after them. You can stop mice coming in by doing exclusion work. Pipes under the sink, etc., stuff steel wool around the pipes and cover with duct tape. Mice won't chew through steel wool. Basically, anything dime sized or larger need steel wool and tape. Believe me, after emptying capture traps every day, it works.
I live in the forest and the only thing actually coming in was a mouse and a snake..You need to take the advice you gave if you have had raccoons, opossums etc in your house
The mice are the worst invaders! Nothing else comes in but them. They are messy creatures! I now keep all food in camping coolers or glass jars. Fool me once~~~ lol
They can get through anything the size of a pencil eraser, it's crazy! I've had to stuff many holes in my walls with steel wool and it worked better than anything else.
Heck, I live in a condo in the burbs and even we have field mice issues from time to time. Such great advice to stop them. I learned the same as a young adult and it really works. As long as you find all the tiny holes. And for me, as long as I can get ahold them before my cats can get ahold of them. 😮
A flying squirrel with the big nocturnal eyes, is extremely friendly. I found one in my place and I pet his back and talked to him. I used to watch them flying from tree to tree when I was a little kid, and now they are back. They like hard cat kibbles (meow mix)
You are amazing. When I look back on my youth, I wish I had had someone like you as an inspiration for all those years there were so many things I could have done but didn't! Squeezing them in now as best I can with your inspiration! I love following your adventures! Thank you for sharing your life!
I know you SAW the squirrel, but if that tote box had been locked closed no squirrel could have opened it. I had similar happen at my house one winter, but the culprit turned out to be a raccoon. They are VERY intelligent, and if a squirrel could get in a raccoon could also. That entry opening has got to be there somewhere, and needs to be sealed or the havoc will be much greater.
So heartwarming to see Hannah is nesting mode with a tall person. Seal the cabin from the outside in. Working from the inside out will be Whack-A-Mole out of control. Time to upgrade to the 60V Dewalt brushcutter for the vines larger than 1/4". I use my 14" weed whacker on a couple acres, same model as yours but it can't do everything. I have learned so much from your cabin time. Thank you for letting us into your YT life! Happy Holidays to everyone!
How cool that Kenny, in just a few days, could experience so many new things and environments he might haven't experienced otherwise. Goes to show just what a cool life you live.
My dad used to own a small 4 seater plane (shared ownership) similar to this one and he fly's commercial now so we don't have it anymore. But the sound of the headset and the green colour. It just brought back memories. I could almost smell the plane again lol.
We had a pair of flying squirrels get in our log cabin. They are nocturnal and kept us wake. 😂 We finally “evicted” them. They are so cute but destructive!
Omg look at u flying a plane, Im so happy for you. I was watching this video and smiling from ear to ear. So proud of you, ive been watching you since day one. I love Your videos and your truly inspiring.
Did you get the flying squirrels out??? They usually make a “communal toilet” in the walls and it’s disgusting. It will look like black tar running down the walls. Good luck getting them out!!!
I would probably call some sort of animal control person, who could get rid of them without killing them preferably. The real key is finding out where they're getting in at, which may not be easy. Yikes, what a nightmare. A cute nightmare, but nightmare nonetheless.
Hannah, I’ve admired Lupine Lane jewelry from your videos for a while but hesitated to check the website, assuming my size wouldn’t be available. I was overjoyed to see your inclusive sizing-thank you!✨
Wohooo. Great to see you back and watching you in real time as opposed to binging about 200 past videos. I know right, not fun being cold and having to work on my bathroom insulation to prevent my pipes from freezing
Happy Thanksgiving Hannah. Great video, beautiful flying. I love your tender nature with the mouse released. Hope you get the squirts out and no damage is done in your cabin.❤❤❤
Squirrels can do a lot of damage and home insurance does not cover rodent damage. The can Nibble on wires and start a fire in your house. They can damage many things. Just so you know I’d be covering up where they are getting ASAP.
Same with pack rats. Someone here commented on how "sweet" they are. They are highly destructive indoors, urinate on everything, carry deadly JV, eat wires etc etc. I know, I had to work hard to keep them out of my home in the woods and vehicle engines. People romanticizing living with wild rodents...crazy.
Hannah was absolutely nothing you can do. I’ve been watching you for years and you were just like the smartest brightest person I’ve ever seen. I love to see what’s next.
I don't understand people who feel lonely. I can be, and have been, alone for years at a time without feeling the least bit lonely. In fact, being alone excites me and makes me happy. I also like watching people who are alone and enjoy it. I don't think man was made to feel lonely, but to be alone and happy with himself.
That feeling….as the wheels leave the runway and you are steering a flying aircraft into the blue sky….wow!! Can only imagine the thrill! You go Hannah!!!✈️
Thanks your the first person that’s being real living that life style u share reality I will watch other channels and I love U being real and sharing reality
While you flew to NY a guest flew in to your air BNB lol. Squirrels learn by doing, and observing. They don't like strange squirrels around and enjoy their own spaces. They live wrestling, play, observing and imitating. Squirrels communicate well and are good planners. They remind us to socialize and that work and play go hand in hand to create balance and a fruitful life.
Seeing you back at the cabins again makes me so happy! The cabins have such a nice charm to them! Also seeing you fly the plane was so inspiring!! Always pushing yourself into the unknown 💜💜
Henna I have to say one thing about you in your videos that seen over the years of your videos. You do a lot of work in both your houses and you get things done. Even if it's a project that you want to build something or make something, you get it done unless you have to let the project set for one day when you get back at it the next day and you do a very good job. Congratulations on doing a lot of work that you do in your videos. I'm really proud of you! Hannah, keep up the good work! Hannah🔨🪚🪛🧰🪓⚒️🗜️🔧❗❗❗
My First look at your channel. Nice video. I'm sure you get plenty of input and probably will not read this, but just in case. The flying squirrel can turn into a big problem. Start outside and seal up all your soffet around the roof line. Tighten up boards , caulk , wire mess, steel wool. That's where they get in. They will quickly foul up all the insulation in the walls with pee and poop and build nests. Best to seal it up outside first. Then move inside. Any smelly spots remove the insulation. Pick up a 6lb. Splitting mall and let it do all the work. You can get heat in the house quick by your oven also. On bake with the door open for 15 to 20 min. I'll have to watch a few more videos !
Happy Thanksgiving! Can I just say, I've been a subscriber for a couple of years now. Since before you bought the cabin. As an older guy I just wanted to say, you're a really impressive young lady! I did see one thing that concerned me. I realize you were cold and in a hurry but, please, square-up when chopping wood. Your arc should never be in line with either of your legs. That way, if you miss( not likely in your case) or the head shanks-off on a knot, you don't hit your leg. With you most often being alone, I'd hate for an accident to happen. Love that you're getting your pilot license!❤
As a newbie wood chopper, thank you for the form tip! I’d been wondering how to make sure to be preventative as possible when singing around tools lol. 🙏🏼
@mirandabeaudry7936 don't know if you have a tiktok account, but there is a really impressive young woman who posts a lot of wood chopping videos. Shows great form and has really impressive shoulders! Just a thought.....
@mirandabeaudry7936 As an older man who grew up "free rrange", and when Stargate was the most advanced video game, I'm heartened to see a young woman like her. In my "ancient" vernacular, I think she's COOL!😂
You just popped up in my YT feed and I am instantly hooked. Now I have to back track and find out all about you. Love the music and content so I think I’m in for some great viewing. Hi from South Australia 🇦🇺👋🏻
It looks like a pac rat they are sweet I had one in my art studio , and about 5 in the barn …. I made it a shelter in the studio and the barn so now we are all happy!!
So glad to see that you dont stay in big town forever, but play again the country music ad girl in this video with a handsome friend. Nice of you that you stay with us !
I love this episode. So many cute and fun things going on. I get chills watching your new adventure of flying an airplane. I have always wanted to fly a little plane. ❤ Happy Thanksgiving Hannah ❤
Watching this in the dark, in Tahuya, WA. Haven't had power for 4 wks because we can't afford the electrical fix needed on a line that went bad underground. First time home owners of one year... didnt know insurance "doesn't cover ground wires". Anyhoo, who can afford $10K for excavation and a 71 foot wire? So, been livin like the 1800's now for AWHILE. At least we have a woodstove. Sighhh.
I wonder if theres a way to get power temporarily thats not exactly code but much cheaper and safe. Id just run conduit above ground and buy the wire myself. Unless the power company took your meter and won’t give it back until you get repairs done by code and everything.
Rent a treasure from the hardware store and do it yourself. Buy the wire. $10000 for 71 foot trenches.A rip off somebody's got a drug problem. By the way you can rent the trencher yourself for probably four hundred bucks.
Hi, we had like 20 living in our attic. They're nocturnal. They were getting in through holes made by woodpeckers in our old cedar siding. We live trapped them for a few weeks and drove them 20 miles away to release them. Hipefully they all found one another. Then when the contractor came to put up new siding they had a decice that allowed the squirrels to get out, but not return. Get some live traps and find their way in. Good luck!
When I was a child my mother also my grandmother would give me socks to put over hands when I had no gloves hey they work in a pinch of course neighbourhood kids would tease and ya it hurt a little, but I was still able to play in the cold or snow lol I miss playing backgammon I played the normal rules, of course everyone I played like playing all sorts of rules which I never really enjoyed as for your friend since he is from New York he may be a little familiar with the cold I know that down south there it can get a little chilly in New York but its a different kind of chilly when compared to where I live in Canada's west coast
I’ve been following your journey for years and I feel like I know you but you don’t know me it’s such an odd concept but ANYWHO girl to another girl I’m so happy for you and proud of all you accomplish you’ve inspired me SOO much throughout the years. Also Kenny matches your vibe so well I hope we see more of him….with you, as a friend or whatever 😌💓 rooootin for u always.
Did I immediately pause the video to go run to your store to get the dress in brown and a ring? Why yes yes I did. I am so excited. Thank you for the coupon!
I am loving the footage of you flying the plane….looks so fun and just in awe of all the things you set out to learn…I myself love to learn new life hacks nd things in general! Recently drilled into concrete for the first time…sounds small but felt so awesome lol
I don't know what state Hannah is in but I live alone in a rustic tiny cabin in Northern Minnesota by the boundary waters. Its funny to see someone having the similar situations as me lol. STAY WARM!
I had a 4-season camp in the Adirondacks and came home one weekend to find the placed pretty trashed. I actually thought someone broke in and had a party. Come to find out I had 2 red squirrels that got into my attic space and opened the small storage door (from the bedroom) and got access to the whole house. They can certainly do some damage for being so small!
Get you SOME of this for YOUR wood stove FIRES! Great stuff! You’ve probably heard of fatwood under its many names such as kindling, fat ligher or heart pine. It’s simply the best natural firestarter you can find. You can use sticks of it to start a fire in your fireplace, grill or campfire as well as shave off slivers of it to spark alite. Also that wood is VERY close to YOUR cabin. Move it away from cabin. BUGS and TERMITES will have a field day with your wood flooring and in YOUR walls. Much gratitude for SHARING your STORY with us! Good luck!
You are such an amazing young lady and I hope many young people watch you to see all things that a person can accomplish in just a few years. You must be a good pilot as Kenny looked very relaxed in the back seat. 😉
This is crazy. The squirrels that are in your house, I just had one in mine. My two cats kept trying to get it. I put some heavy work gloves on, and I caught it. Good thing because it was bitting my finger and squealing at the same time. I turned it loose out side, and it ran off!😊
Happy Thanksgiving! Thanks for hanging out with me at the cabins , I've missed them 🥺

That squirrels looking at Hannah like “WTF are YOU doing in MY house, you’re adorable though”

Genuinely laughing. I take it they came in often. And yes they will come for food
Glad you got it rabies vaccine.
That's adorable, someone make this a children's book stat 🥺😍
He looks well fed!
Please, write a children’s book of this adorable tale and include illustrations. I just live-trapped 110 mice from my house and garage, and my cat was caring for a small baby mouse underneath our guest bed. I’m pretty certain that he was purring at it for comfort.
😂
That flying squirrel is an unbelievably adorable intruder
That will destroy everything in your cabin.. from mattress to wires.. please try to remove it .. good luck 🤞
Agreed lol ❤
I wanna kiss its little cheeks
They are cute but WOW did they ever turn that cabin upside down eh? Hopefully she’ll get it all snugged up and have them evicted by next trip out.
So nice to get to see the cabins.
Chunky lil flying squirrel 😅
I'm so proud of you, Hannah. Following your north star from van life to cabins, business owner, homestead, NYC apartment, and now flying. And of course, sharing your journey with us and inspiring so many❤
And you’re so kind to the critters.
😂😂😂😂
It's crazy to see how much has evolved since her van life 🙏
She lives my dream life.
This boy is prolly like holy crap Hannah is the craziest coolest chick and was probably not expecting half of this 😂 him being a city boy off guard for most of this has me cracking up!
My favorite was “we’re going to do yard work now” “that’s not what I was told” 😂
He is cute.

I was thinking the same thing! City Boy meets Adventure Girl, and in good form, Hannah puts him straight to work! 😊

"Blonde woman, get out of my new house!". 🐿 lmao

Pretty much. Altho I felt once he got used to her being there, he didn't mind the company ☺️
Seeing you back at the cabins again makes me so happy! The cabins have such a nice charm to them
A flying squirrel with the big nocturnal eyes, is extremely friendly. I found one in my place and I pet his back and talked to him. I used to watch them flying from tree to tree when I was a little kid, and now they are back. They like hard cat kibbles (meow mix)
The NYC man meets the woods. He is a good sport and has really lovely "Kennergy."
girl i havent watched your videos in a bit and i forgot just how much of my dream life you're living 😭 your videos are so comfy

I agree. I’ve had raccoons open the same type containers in my barn. They are smart little buggers and very dexterous.
This is a "staged" channel. You know that.
@@jschlegel3047how do you know that? Doesn’t look staged to me!
Yeah, of course, she gets paid squirrel actors from the agency 😂😂😂
"We're gonna go do yard work."
"--That's not what you told me.."
Classic Hannah 😂
Need more story about the cutie flying squirrels situation !!
Wasn’t that them released at the end like her usual mice? Pretty sure I saw big googly eyes…? I’ll report back, I’ll check the tails this time…. 🧐🤣
You’re right, it WAS just mice at the end, no flat bushy tail! Haha, why do I have a feeling she’s making a cage for them as we speak…?
🤣🤣❤️
She’s gonna need one of those cage traps, they’re too big for those squirrel traps.
Im with ya, Kenny
Every room needs a fireplace!😊
My dad used to own a small 4 seater plane (shared ownership) similar to this one and he fly's commercial now so we don't have it anymore. But the sound of the headset and the green colour. It just brought back memories. I could almost smell the plane again lol.

Your videos have become part of me and my bfs Sunday routine! Thank you for continuing to bring us future inspiration for when we get a house🥰
Expected a video releasing the squirrels or building a mini cabin for them.
Haha mini cabin! Love to see that

Gotta give the guy credit. He was out of his wheelhouse and dove right in. Good on ya!

You can have a solar system that would run your whole house for half of that! I live off grid and Ihopefully always will.
❤🙏
Read this just now. Hopefully you got something going 😢
Hannah you rock! Just you out here flying aircraft’s and dealing with flying squirrels! You are so brave you inspire me 🐿️🚁
Hi, we had like 20 living in our attic. Good luck!
When I was a child my mother also my grandmother would give me socks to put over hands when I had no gloves hey they work in a pinch of course neighbourhood kids would tease and ya it hurt a little, but I was still able to play in the cold or snow lol
I miss playing backgammon I played the normal rules, of course everyone I played like playing all sorts of rules which I never really enjoyed
as for your friend since he is from New York he may be a little familiar with the cold I know that down south there it can get a little chilly in New York but its a different kind of chilly when compared to where I live in Canada's west coast

Hi!!! Always so happy to see you❣️❣️❣️ I am a little confused about New York
Those dimples are adorable!
Oh my hell...not only is he a chubster...he's adorable.
Did I immediately pause the video to go run to your store to get the dress in brown and a ring? Why yes yes I did. I am so excited. Thank you for the coupon!
Poor little things. Going from that lovely, warm wood shaving out into the freezing🥶
How lucky is this guy? What a blessing…
Good to see you again Kenny!😊
That cabin is a dream! I could stay there forever 🥰.. Awesome video!
I am loving the footage of you flying the plane….looks so fun and just in awe of all the things you set out to learn…I myself love to learn new life hacks nd things in general! Recently drilled into concrete for the first time…sounds small but felt so awesome lol
Wow that waterfall area is SO gorgeous. Would be so relaxing
I don't know what state Hannah is in but I live alone in a rustic tiny cabin in Northern Minnesota by the boundary waters. Its funny to see someone having the similar situations as me lol. STAY WARM!
Her cabins are in Minnisota too
I had a 4-season camp in the Adirondacks and came home one weekend to find the placed pretty trashed. I actually thought someone broke in and had a party. Come to find out I had 2 red squirrels that got into my attic space and opened the small storage door (from the bedroom) and got access to the whole house. They can certainly do some damage for being so small!
Happy Thanksgiving week! ❤
Good luck!
Ok ,but why am I loving your chemistry with your instructor more than the Kenergy? I could totally be making this up in my head. Lol
When I was a kid we had a Flying squirrel, she was the sweetest little pet !
Nice to be back at the cabins where it seems like the chores are endless!!
And happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Blessings from Oregon.
You are such an amazing young lady and I hope many young people watch you to see all things that a person can accomplish in just a few years. You must be a good pilot as Kenny looked very relaxed in the back seat. 😉
YAAAAAY the cabins 😊 Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving Hannah ❤ oh and Kenny
Wow! You are an amazing woman. God bless you. Be safe out there and have a blessed life.🙂
Squirrels just want to have fun.
Nice cabin, ❤ I use the longest axe handle I can find, it puts the axe head further away, less chance of swinging back at me on the down stroke.
This is crazy. The squirrels that are in your house, I just had one in mine. My two cats kept trying to get it. I put some heavy work gloves on, and I caught it. Good thing because it was bitting my finger and squealing at the same time. I turned it loose out side, and it ran off!😊
I adore your cabins, Hannah! ❤
Hannah!! ❤ Happy Thanksgiving sweetheart! You are so loved 🥰 Hey Kenny 👋
WOW I haven't seen any of your vids in a couple months and now all of a sudden your flying planes! Crazy
"Bro" 🐿
