I am grateful that he brought up so many different examples when he made that statement. We often look at other people and judge their addictions, while we sit on our behind and eat everything in sight or use our spare time playing video games. We should look at ourselves and see if we have anything that we are addicted to. I know I can get addicted easily by spending too much time on my phone and then when nighttime comes, realize that I did not give hardly any time to God, if any. I have so many things that I give priority to, that needs to go or at least give less time to. None of those things can give me lasting joy. I'm grateful for a prophet that dare to offend us, by speaking truth!!
Yes I totally agree! I think that’s one of the reasons it caught my attention. I think his use of the word “obsessions” in tandem with “addictions” also makes it a more universal problem and easier to ask “Lord is it I?” Thanks for your thoughts!

That’s the most powerful, meaningful, spiritual statement to me. I felt closer and understood better the relationship between me and my Heavenly Father. I was so grateful, more than ever to hear our leader, Prophet last Conference.

Yeah you are a fool to be offended by things that are good and praiseworthy… most people hate it when you are honest with them. People are foolish to be offended when you call them by their actual pronouns and aknowledging the gender god gave them. People get offended when you tell them that they are not gay not in the wrong body, abortion is murder, for just because one committed homosexuality doesn’t mean that has to be who they are. People hate it for some reason when you tell them they can repent of their sins and ask god for help to resist sin. Oh how I love a Living Prophet, President Russell M. Nelson. He is a true prophet of God. Though I do spend time with God, my addiction has always been with food. I'm rethinking that now. Thank you for broadening this talk.

I really like that… when he is offended it is because he loves us and wants us to have all that he has but he’s sad because he can’t give it to us right now because we’re not ready for it! Profound!
Our Prophet speaks to us and tells us things our Heavenly Father wants us to know. I believe he is in tune with the spirit ,and this is revelation ! We are all seeing the changes of friends and family members around us and the choices their choosing to make! And addictions that lead people away from the Lord are destructive to the heart and soul and blind our ability to be connected to the Spirit of God!

Mmm...no. God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed Heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; Heb.1:1,2 In time past God spoke by prophets, but now by His Son. Here is what the Father says: "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!" Mk.9:7 Here is what the Son says: "Follow Me!" "But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." Jn.10:2-5 God speaks to His sheep...indivually. Not by prophets. By His Son. Jesus was the last prophet sent from the Father, that is not the way He communicates with people now. In the Kingdom of God, "President Nelson" is a stranger, and the sheep of God do not follow him, we do not know his voice.
D&C 59:21 And in nothing doth man offend God, or against none is his wrath kindled, save those who confess not his hand in all things, and obey not his commandments.
I can totally understand why God would be offended. Any addiction can take us away from our true purpose. May God bless everyone's journey and Enlighten your heart and your soul as to why father would be offended. I've said in the past if you're not doing anything wrong then you don't have to be afraid of heavenly father. For he is a true and loving father
I desire to learn more and to please God more and more, as He teaches me by His Word and by comitted Leaders who show God's wisdom and understanding; with mercy and Love.
It is how we receive the message. Not about interpretation by others, although this may be helpful to some. In the end, it is what we do with the Words of the Lord. I follow the Prophet and in doing so, follow the Lord.🙏👍🇦🇺
You’re right, the Spirit will carry his words directly into any open heart. This was my personal journey and I hope it encourages others to seek for themselves too.
Thank you for this podcast. I really appreciate it. I am grateful to the Lord for restoring His church , organizing it the same as in the New Testament. This is his church so it makes perfect sense to call it The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
My fervent prayers moments ago for understanding about these very things-addictions to sweets, Pinterest and the like, came as I watched this message from you-AND IT WAS THE VERY FIRST VIDEO I WAS LEAD TO! I thank our Father, and God bless you for it.
Our prophet and apostles are chosen by God. Russell M Nelson is a true prophet of our living God. Everything he speaks comes from God. If we question him, we're questioning God.
Thank you for your testimony! I believe it is okay to have sincere questions about what President Nelson says and if we pursue them with real intent, we can more fully unlock their meaning and power in our lives. This is different than “questioning him” skeptically or negatively.
I really liked this. I had this conversation with someone when Pres Nelson used the word offend with the name of the church. He locked into the word offend because he Assumed he knew the definition of offend. The irony is he was offended that Pres Nelson used the word offend in a way he didn’t like 😅 because of his narrow definition. This is a great reminder for us to ask people to define what they mean when they use words that we or they may take offense with. This same friend loves to use the word homophobic when talking about church members and church leaders. After several minutes of arguing with him that he was wrong I asked him to define what he meant and I discovered his definition was much lighter that the word implies. Once i understood his definition it became easier to discuss his concerns. (I then suggested he not use that word in that way anymore if he wanted to have an honest conversation with someone about his views).
Well said, thank you! Narrow definitions might be one of those “strain at a gnat, swallow a camel” kind of things that impedes us from really hearing inspired messages or seeing people as they truly are.

Wow, all Soloman had to do was ask for wisdom and it was granted Him. In fact, scripture says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,"..not sure how much "research he was doing.?

Your willingness to dig into the possible meanings of a word is admirable and shows a real life example of beholding the beam in your own eye. In our duty to mourn with those that mourn and comfort those who stand in need of comfort, it’s still important that we don’t discard the other, more connotatively negative meanings. Addictions are most often related to mental illness, which illness does not offend a loving God. I see what President Nelson was going for, but I think he misspoke, and we have to be careful not to allow the literal message to be weaponized against those already struggling.
Thank you for this thoughtful comment. It reminded me of a quote I love from Elder Richard G. Scott that “the Lord sees weakness differently than he does rebellion.”
Historically there is also a Firstborn Heavenly Twin Daughter Zion Gathering in Her Children Her Blood Descendants in the Scriptures. Along with Firstborn Heavenly Twin Son Jesus our Savior
One of the tricks of the devil to foster contention is to confuse definitions of things and have each side using the same word differently. Both sides thinks they are being clear in our communication to each other and then frustration builds and so does anger.
❤❤❤wow tremendous overview❤❤ and thanks for that outlook, it us wonderful work to help people understand clearer the gospel and the modern prophet teachings, I am very grateful for your time to help us understand the right meaning of the Living Prophet talk.❤❤❤

Time on Earth is the precious and Limited commodity. When we waste our time repetitively we are digging our own grave as you might say. Many people waste time and it's such a precious commodity. Use your time wisely!
I had the thought that the offense isn't necessarily about feelings but more about breaking a law. As he stated, "...because your obsession becomes your God! You look to it rather than to him for solace." It finishes the significance of the first great commandment, "love the lord, thy God..." God isn't going to take offense like we typically are familiar with, but his spirit will withdraw from us. Also, important to note, just as we are Imperfect, God loved us so much, individually, that he provided a way to continually humble ourselves to a point where we repent. He knows our weaknesses and that we are going to fail, so fail, get over it and repent, even if it is a perpetual and consistent routine. Eventually, we will be made perfect. Our Father, God, knew all of us before this life, he knows us still and he will always be there if we keep repenting.
I have gotten rid of all my social media apps. This was my last scroll through youtube before I deleted it. It's now time to read my scriptures and not listen to stuff like this no more. God bless
I feel like I've heard this same terminology used to describe another member of the godhead: the Holy Ghost. My actions either invite him to dwell with me or they invite him to depart from me. If i would like the constant companionship that is available to me, I must not do anything to offend him. Pretty neat! Thank you for expanding on the meaning of this.
I like that connection, thanks for sharing! Yeah it reminds me of the scriptures warning us that “the spirit will not always strive with man.” In fact, one way it is described is that “the Spirit of the Lord is grieved” (D&C 121:37). Wow, that might be another interesting way to think about “offended.” Neat insight!
Thank you Will ❣I love the short insightful posts. You are doing a great service for your fellowmen. I tend to be long-winded, thus some of my "advice" gets dismissed or forgotten by family, so having these more conscise gems really helps !!
“Our obsessions become our God” is so true. It can prevent us from Thinking Celestial because we’re occupied with Telestial things. Satan would have us believe that as long as you end up in the telestial or terrestrial kingdom you’ll be fine. President Nelson makes it clear that the only way we should be looking to go is to the celestial kingdom. Great insights…
Hi very good job ,first time listening your videos , very thoughtful and inspired comments. Thank You for preparing and sharing this Gospel insights with others. You are and will be blessed for this great work your doing. Sincerely JC
First off God is not like us. His thoughts are not our thoughts. I think we would be shocked by how many things we causualy do before God that would offend him. We are weak , fallen and some of us are trying to become right with the Lord. Some are oblivious. Pres nelson is bringing awareness to the huge gap between our weaknesses and his expectations for us. I am thankful to be aware of anything that would offend my Father in heaven. So i can correct my behavior.
The key word is ADDICTION...sin offends God. Addiction to sin is definitely offensive for the reasons stated. We turn to these earthly physically items of instant gratification rather than turning our spirits to the Lord through repentance payer and supplication God knows we are going to sin. But He expects us to repent and use the atonement of Jesus Christ. Addiction to anything(and it is true that anything can become an addiction) says we find solace in our earthly items rather than our spiritual ones. I know I've been there. I can say God does not want us to become addicted to anything. However I also know if you do and you ask His help and the help and our Savior offers through the Atonement you can overcome addictions and its negative effects. You can become stronger spiritually, mentally, and spritually . I'm thankful for President Nelson and his message. I know some mock what he says and are even offended by it but this is just another example of how the Lord through His prophet is dividing the wheat from the tares as the second coming comes ever closer. Thanks for your insight into this!

I’m sorry, but an addiction is not an obsession. It is a very painful condition that most addicts hate themselves for and take no enjoyment from. They use it to escape pain. How President Nelson worded it was wrong on so many levels.
Now that God is offended with me Russell didn’t really say what God was going to do to me. One thing I know for sure I will measure up, so why even try or care. I’m wondering why God wouldn’t be interested in taking us as we are, not going to be very crowded up there with Russell, Dalin and David.

Mormonism prior to Nelson was okay with “Meet the Mormons” but Nelson’s revelation Jesus changed his mind about his church name, even the amount of time the saints meet in his buildings from three to two hours on Sunday’s. I always thought Jesus needed thee every hour….hmm maybe Nelson’s heart is beating to a different drum…Jesus!
The entire church offended God! How long have we been using the name Mormon as a nickname. We had a website, out choir used it, our literature used it! And why did God allow us to use it for so long?
Pres. Nelson: "Your obsession becomes your God." What if the obsession is a Church, or its leaders? I think the will of God and the will of Pres. Nelson are not always the same thing. If you only listen to Church sources how would you know that Pres. Nelson's will is not identical with God's.
Maybe your not aware of his plea with members to learn how to receive messages from the Holy Ghost and many lessons repeat that plea so not sure what your talking about.
How do you think God feels about the name “Heavenly Father’s Church”? After all, it was His Son Jesus Christ who suffered the incomprehensible agony of the infinite atonement. I think the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the reason why the church is named after Him (Jesus Christ) and not Elohim or God the Eternal Father or the Holy Ghost. President Nelson clearly teaches that we offend God when we fail to refer to the name of Jesus Christ when using the name of the church. Perhaps we demonstrate a lack of appreciation or reverence for the Savior’s suffering that caused Him to bleed from every pore when we casually refer to the church as “Heavenly Father’s Church”. Just a thought. Thank you for all the effort you put into creating these videos. I enjoy them very much.
It's been interesting when President Monson embraced "Mormon" with the I Am A Mormon campaign and also the great movie Meet The Mormons. I agree and support President Nelson completely but it seems ironic the stark contrast.
Different times call for different measures. Many people still refer to us as Mormons and the transition is still taking place but emphasizing our dependence and love for Christ is always a good idea.
That maybe the dictionary interpretation but perhaps not for God . God is perfect and expected the same level of perfection from us . If the prophet of God is telling us how God feels then that’s how he feels . Why we always always question God . We are in no position of questioning God .
Thanks for sharing. I suspect God is not the least bit shocked or surprised at mans offenses. In fact he knows us so well after watching us as parents over eons, that he is certain of the choices we will make. So to say he is displeased is not that he's surprised and irritated that we didn't perform better. Rather, he knows the heartache of sin and he experiences sorrow and pain when we sin because he doesn't want us to hurt. Now, he knows we will sin and suffer. I'm sure he desires we suffer and sin the least and avoid the worst types of sin that cause the most pain. But again, we are imperfect and he knows we will be during our entire mortal probation, and will continue on in imperfection well beyond this life in our developmental state. The prophetic warnings regard most specifically those sins that will bar us from the celestial kingdom. However, those who work on addictions and worst kinds of sins will be shown mercy as the Lord takes into account our desires as well. He will work with those who suffer and are trying to overcome the worst kinds of sins if they truly desire to be with him. After this life those seeking the celestial kingdom won't attain it at once. In fact, the earth will become (deliberate word "become" used to point out a process that is developmental) a celestial kingdom for those seeking to develop into celestial beings. Note Christ will reign there, tutoring its' inhabitants as each puts in to practice the principles of the celestial kingdom and abides by the laws as they continue in their repentant state as guided by the Holy Spirit as they enjoy the presence of the son. And once completed as celestial beings will then go on to enjoy the presence of God the father, having become like him and his only begotten Son. Thanks again for the insights shared in this video.
Thanks for checking the video out and sharing your insights! I love that because God has an eternal view, He is more understanding of our journey to “become.”
If you actually read the Bible it says lots of stuff about God being a jealous God and hellfire and angry God. Saying that God can be offended is very much in line with what the Bible teaches.
Yeah it says in the Bible that God is Jealous too… yeah a loving god can be offended just as you get offended when your son tells you that he hopes you die. What he means by offended is it hurts the lords heart when people transgress and dine in inequality. It’s not rocket science. Stop doubting oh ye of little faith.
I don’t think Pres Nelson used strong language I’m displeased that the 1st Pres isn’t more valiant in calling people to repent (dc 6.9) & not be so lenient w/ so called dysphoria & chummy w/ absolute filth (Gen 6.5; 1 Ne 15.34) by acting like perfection has to be forever kept pending - it’s not what the Savior says -> 3 Ne 12.48 -> those words have no intimation to keep perfection pending. The Lord speaks plainly -> dc 1.16 as to EVERY person is walking after false gods -> spiritual wickedness (dc 133.12-14)! Wouldn’t we rather be saved / exalted by criticism rather than ruined by praise (DUMB flattery)!
Ezekiel, God told Ezekiel to make a cake of barley and man's dung and eat it in front of Israel. God said it was because Israel always put their stumbling block in front of their face. I have an obsession and I keep looking at it instead of listening to God. Also that statement wasn't from this conference.
How's does shaming people help them with addiction. They already know this so how does stating a shaming thing help people who are suffering. This is extremely disturbing and narcissistic. Look up parental abuse. It's doesn't matter what you twist what he sais its how people take it. That's pretty clear how that would be I perceived.
Many thanks for your insight our model phones the gaming etc l saw youth not children which l can understand at conference l attend l saw youth looking at porn yes l couldn't believe my eyes.
Sorry, but I don’t buy any of your apologist attempts to rationalize the belief that God is offended at the things spoken of by President Nelson. God is not offended by petty sins and may not necessarily be offended by most sin since it was by His design to put us here to experience sin in the first place. The problem for the LDS faith is how they define sin. It is in their scripture so therefore it must be correct. However, it is difficult and non intuitive for me to believe that God who knows all things would be offended by actions of ours here in the present. Why be disappointed in our present state when God knows our future and it may well be possible that in the future we have overcome our sins. It is just a process of learning and growing so how can God be offended by these things that will hopefully and ultimately be to our good? Is it not said in LDS scripture that God gave man weakness to humble him and if man sufficiently humbled themselves before God then God will make those weaknesses strong? These tactics to instill dread that we are somehow offending God or disappointing God is just plain disinformation which the world is full these days. Not even the LDS Church is free from it. But even more sad is how many people believe because they feel they must for someone has told them if they question then they are being disobedient and in consequence offending God. This is a vicious circle of blame, then feel remorse and regret. It has been rather effective in keeping the world’s religious flock in check and subverted in knowing the actual truth. Having said this, it is doubtful anyone here will believe or at least consider what I am saying. Which is fine because we all get to choose what we wish to believe or disbelieve. So I wish you all the best in following this man President Nelson to wherever it leads you?Only time will tell if it was the right decision? For the future already knows what the past has done.
if you doubt God can be offended then you arent scripturally literate and just playing silly froshlosophy games (like "can God create a rock so big He cant lift it?") assuming just bcs youre making sentences thats the same as making sense
Has god read the “be not offended” talk? God is petty. He has cursed generations because someone didn’t offer the right animal to be killed! God killed every man woman and child, even unborn, because they didn’t worship him. Yes a few were saved in a boat. Then god cursed hamm because he told the family Noah was drunk. At least that is what Brigham young said.
The natural man is an enemy to God, but Jesus taught us to love our enemies. Disappointed, yes. Offended, no. Nelson, what you teach has to agree with the scriptures!
For a medical person to go down this road on addiction is speaks more to his callous statements on the jab. I find him repugnant., Work with addictions for a while and come back to me on God is offended. I think God is as heart broken as I am watching people fall. Nelson is Full of himself-Not GOD! Sorry not sorry.
When you seek answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, God can't help you because you have turned your back on Him. Therefore this leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet showing you signs and wonders to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. God Himself warns us about this in: MATTHEW 24:23-24 "Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect..." Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in? A. Your jesus of the Book of Mormon, who is the brother of Satan. OR B. The Jesus of the Bible, who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.
It’s the same Jesus your either willfully ignorant or trying to mislead or even worse thinking your trying to do a good thing by tearing somebody’s faith in Jesus Christ down which is it
There is no such thing as addiction... To suggest that their is, would be to deny human will and the endowment of our creator to choose the right and have the power to determine right from wrong. otherwise RMN is addicted to medical advice and can't stop giving it long after his practice is over.
Addiction is a medically/scientifically confirmed condition. I think there is a wide spectrum and varying degrees of what might be considered addiction, but President Nelson’s whole point is that addiction is harmful BECAUSE it can rob us of the capacity to exercise our endowment of free will. This is a reality for many people and requires professional help and a lot of grace to overcome. Maybe President Nelson’s implications of “obsessions” fall under the category of things over which we can certainly still exercise our agency and abandon.
Addiction is real. And it does take away from our ability to choose. That's why it's one of Satan's main tools. Elder Russell M. Nelson of the Quorum of the Twelve observed: “Addiction surrenders later freedom to choose. Through chemical means, one can literally become disconnected from his or her own will”
I am grateful that he brought up so many different examples when he made that statement.
In the Kingdom of God, "President Nelson" is a stranger, and the sheep of God do not follow him, we do not know his voice.
D&C 59:21 And in nothing doth man offend God, or against none is his wrath kindled, save those who confess not his hand in all things, and obey not his commandments.
never get sick of his talks
I can totally understand why God would be offended. Any addiction can take us away from our true purpose. May God bless everyone's journey and Enlighten your heart and your soul as to why father would be offended. I've said in the past if you're not doing anything wrong then you don't have to be afraid of heavenly father. For he is a true and loving father
We owe God for everything and more than we can ever pay for. Adoration and reverence is the minimum we should give our God.
I desire to learn more and to please God more and more, as He teaches me by His Word and by comitted Leaders who show God's wisdom and understanding; with mercy and Love.
I believe it is what the Lord wants the Prophet to SAY exactly
like the jab?
It is how we receive the message. Not about interpretation by others, although this may be helpful to some. In the end, it is what we do with the Words of the Lord. I follow the Prophet and in doing so, follow the Lord.🙏👍🇦🇺
You’re right, the Spirit will carry his words directly into any open heart. This was my personal journey and I hope it encourages others to seek for themselves too.
Your connection as a parent is how I regularly handle ideas with God. This is such a great video!
Thanks for checking it out! Yeah good point, I need to make that connection more often, it is such a helpful lens.
Thank you for this podcast. I really appreciate it. I am grateful to the Lord for restoring His church , organizing it the same as in the New Testament. This is his church so it makes perfect sense to call it The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Thanks for listening!
Thank you so much for explaining this to us. It has certainly helped me to understand better.
My pleasure, I was kind of just trying to explain it to myself too 🤣 Thanks for watching!
My fervent prayers moments ago for understanding about these very things-addictions to sweets, Pinterest and the like, came as I watched this message from you-AND IT WAS THE VERY FIRST VIDEO I WAS LEAD TO! I thank our Father, and God bless you for it.
Wow I’m so happy to hear that and glad it was meaningful for you. Thank you for watching and sharing :)

Guilty as charged. Grateful for the Atonement of Christ. I am trying to do better. Thanks for this little compilation. It helps me to see a little more clearly.
President Nelson is a great teacher.
Wisdom comes by revelation after sincere research.Thank you for elaborating on this!
Amen! You’re welcome 😊
Wow, all Soloman had to do was ask for wisdom and it was granted Him.
In fact, scripture says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,"..not sure how much "research he was doing.?

God was offended by rebellious Israel constantly. He would absolutely abhor sin the same way in 2023.
THANK YOU!!!
Sooo very true !!!!!
I highly agree w/ you President Nelson 💯 %. . Because GOD SHOULD ALWAYS BE FIRST .. PERIOD !!!!
Well said ❤thank you Will.

I forever thank GOD the FATHER, & HIS WIFE, GODDESS, our beloved HOLY Eternal MOTHER, for the amazing message, reveal to Pres. NELSON.

Thank you for your kind words and for watching this video! I am glad it was helpful and I’m grateful to be part of a community striving to understand the prophet’s words.

I love this explanation of "offended" ~ thanks for sharing! ❤
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Great video, I felt the same way. His words spoke directly to my heart. Thanks for taking a few min to share and add some insight. 👊👊
I’m happy to hear that. Thanks for checking it out!
Oh my God I loved this video!
I enjoyed the president's talk celestial thinking making of an excellent realignment by his speech.
Let's pray for the people that also become offended when we try to share the love Jesus has to offer ❤

Thank you Will ❣I love the short insightful posts. You are doing a great service for your fellowmen. I tend to be long-winded, thus some of my "advice" gets dismissed or forgotten by family, so having these more conscise gems really helps !!
Thank you for those kind words and for checking out Latter-day Divers. I know the feeling, “no man is a prophet in his own land,” right? 😂
I love this
Thank you. Your presentation brought great insight.

I believe that when we turn our hearts into worldly things, that's idolatry! then, we offend or turn away from our loving God who gave us life.
Well done, brother.
Wow, the fact that he feels addictions are mere obsessions offends my soul.

My pleasure!
Thanks. I hope that I never have offended you? You are a great friend to have.
Just like Jesus Christ was offended at the Money Changers defiling his Father's House.

Right on the money

Mormonism prior to Nelson was okay with “Meet the Mormons” but Nelson’s revelation Jesus changed his mind about his church name, even the amount of time the saints meet in his buildings from three to two hours on Sunday’s. I always thought Jesus needed thee every hour….hmm maybe Nelson’s heart is beating to a different drum…Jesus!
The entire church offended God! How long have we been using the name Mormon as a nickname. We had a website, out choir used it, our literature used it! And why did God allow us to use it for so long?
❤❤❤❤
Thank you😔 I think I have Obsessions that offend God
You’re in good company!
@@latterdaydivers thanks for all your videos
The Father doesn't get offended. He's better than that. He's God.
Read my post carefully.@@wendyfoster5579 😎
Yes, I would love to have all the earthly and heavenly “behind-the-scenes” about all that some day 😅
Different times call for different measures.
Yep …
If you actually read the Bible it says lots of stuff about God being a jealous God and hellfire and angry God. Saying that God can be offended is very much in line with what the Bible teaches.
I think President Nelson was offended when then President Hinckley corrected him publicly in regard to the name of the Church. Here's a good video.
I tell you now if president Nielsen says it its true and common sense his emotions God. Are human.

Listen to a Prophets voice
How's does shaming people help them with addiction. They already know this so how does stating a shaming thing help people who are suffering. This is extremely disturbing and narcissistic. Look up parental abuse. It's doesn't matter what you twist what he sais its how people take it. That's pretty clear how that would be I perceived.
Is this an anti-LDS channel? I dont want to waste my time with non-sense condemnation if it is.
For the future already knows what the past has done.
if you doubt God can be offended
then you arent scripturally literate
and just playing silly froshlosophy
games (like "can God create a rock
so big He cant lift it?") assuming
just bcs youre making sentences
thats the same as making sense
I think Nelson has the eyes of a demon....
God Himself warns us about this in:
MATTHEW 24:23-24
"Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect..."
Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.
So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in?
A. Your jesus of the Book of Mormon, who is the brother of Satan.
OR
B. The Jesus of the Bible, who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.
It’s the same Jesus your either willfully ignorant or trying to mislead or even worse thinking your trying to do a good thing by tearing somebody’s faith in Jesus Christ down which is it
If you believe god created everything from nothing then you believe god created evil and is responsible for all evil
And you are looking at that wrong the pre mortal life is very interesting and explained how Lucifer became saten perfectly in line with agency
