I fell away for a time…I am so eternally grateful to have found my way back into the light. I am so thankful for a living prophet who is filled with charity and speaks with so much power and authority.
As someone who was inactive from church for the first 21 years of adulthood and engaged in everything the world is doing, making and keeping sacred covenants and being active in the church has made life much easier. Challenging times still happen but now I endure them with an eternal perspective and it’s made all the difference. Our dear Prophet is correct and I sustain him with all my heart 😊 till we meet again!
The church is still true whether you live it or leave it. I have been on both sides. It’s Christ’s church. Every word of this talk is a golden nugget of truth.
Probably the preservation of the church in spite of war, economic collapse, and nuclear war. And taking the gospel to every nation both in good and bad times.
I can say that I've greatly needed this talk. I've been struggling a lot lately, for a plethora of reasons, and have felt very down lately. Today, however, after this talk was over, I've felt buoyed up and able to better deal with my feelings than I've been able to lately. I'm very grateful for the love of President Nelson, and his compassion for us.
I have felt down at times as well! But my Son came to me and said Mom you need to be a Temple worker, ever since then I'm happier! I'm more grateful to be in my Father's house and feel his love ! I look forward to being in my Father's house every week! 🙏🏻💜🌷
I consider President Nelson my personal therapist 😆 His words have helped me through some very dark days as well. I love listening to his old talks when I am struggling, they always bring me peace and hope and help me feel the Savior's love. Hang in there friend, I hope brighter days are on their way for you.
Dear friend, I feel like you a lot as well. Your words helped me see there are others struggling just like me, I learning that this is our mortal experience much of the time. But there is relief or strength as we turn to the Savior and feel peace as we connect again with God's love.

We then flew to Bog Island Airfare go then fly back to Oahu. In Italy 49 Years ago we where Sealed in the Switzerland Temple which was a 11 Hour Drive. I live you are Truely Blessed

I have overcome all of my addictions that I struggled with for years through submitting myself to Gods will. Nothing else worked for me in overcoming them. The Lord led me back to His church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Having the gift of the Holy Ghost and following that light has continued to help me progress in His gospel and miracles have happened by living the gospel. I know with all my heart that the gospel is true and that this man is a prophet. He speaks the words of the Savior and striving to follow His words have blessed my life. ❤️
This was one of the most profound talks I have ever heard. The Spirit spoke directly to my heart the entire time. I am so thankful for living prophets!

Could there be any doubt, that after Elder Bednar's talk on the wedding feast which is specifically talking about the 2nd coming, then followed by Pres Nelson who decides to show the video of the Savior's visit, that he could not possibly be ANY MORE CLEAR that the 2nd coming is imminent?? That is my opinion anyway....

Suicide hurts all. This morning, our daughters husband felt his only way out was to take his life. They were sealed 14 years ago in the St. George Temple. The Lord is real, and life is precious and short. He sought prospecting help, the church programs, even A.A. but he lost his faith. It is a happy thought we do not have to mourn faithless. There is a life to come, because of our elder brother Jesus Christ.
What a tender mercy! I lost a brother to suicide and it is shattering, there is no pain like it, but there have been many miracles to help us feel supported, and loved as we continue to heal. I wish I could wrap my arms around you and hug you.
We love President Nelson and all these amazing men and women who so thoughtfully prepared to teach us during conference. So grateful to be a member of The Saviors church. All are invited to come and learn more about Jesus Christ’s gospel and great plan of salvation.

The genuine love this man has for people is second to none. When he says he's thinking about us I know he truly is. "Between now and the second coming, we will see His power and glory" Can't Wait!
This is so true already! Miracles are happening. They are building in momentum. The light of the gospel is blessing us as never before. The absence of power to overcome is gone. The blessings of Adam are being brought to bear upon all who desire as we all for increased capacity to recieve those blessings.

Exactly! The lord has no restrictions on how he chooses to speak to us, if we pray with good intent and love. I was an atheist for a long time, and depression only got worse and worse. I got my testimony through praying and hoping i would get a verse i could read as one last option i could try before i gave up, that would help me through my struggle. And i got a chapter in alma, and a verse, that i had never even heard of in my entire life. And then, doubt followed, i thought to myself "No, you are just insane, this is just a coincidence". So i prayed for a second time, convinced i would not get another answer. And then it happened again, i prayed to know if it was really him and tears were bursting out, because i thought i had gone insane and satan made me doubt. Then i got another chapter and two numbers in my mind again: Luke 24:38 "38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?" i had NEVER even heard lf this in my entire life, it was so direct and straightforward, right to the point. Ever since this, i have never doubted god and his son ever again, i know he is real, and i know he sees us individually. Peace :)

I keep coming back to this talk again and again and again. Each time I come back I hear something that I didn’t hear in the previous time that I watched it. There are layers of meaning and warnings and instructions and I can really feel the love. In case I haven’t said it before I want the world to know publicly that I love this man. I really do believe that he is a prophet of God. I have not been in the church for a long time but I have decided to turn my feet back onto the path that leads back to the Savior and back to heavenly father and it is in no small part due to this man and the other apostles and what they have had to say. I know the Lord speaks through them and I reject the worlds false teachings. We are in the last days. I am getting my house in order and I am trying to prepare myself and my family as best as I can. I appreciate the blessings of the Lord and I will be as strong and courageous as I Canby. I wish blessings for all of us who stand fast and stand in holy places and remain unmoved by the world.

You're right. It had a very somber tone to it. Very sincere, and heartfelt. The tears he held back are an indication that he is aware that his time left on this terrestrial plane is short. I've been away from the church for some time now. I stopped attending when President Gordon B. Hinckley was still the head of the church, so I didn't experience the leadership of Thomas S. Monson. I'm glad i got to hear from President Nelson while he is still alive.
That hit me actually bec i feel it immediately that way...i was touched bec i am remi ded of the Savior as he was making a speech of goodbye to his disciples...

I love President Nelson for many reasons. I know he is our Prophet. Many years ago, he performed heart surgery on my father which saved his life. He was able to witness all of his children’s weddings and meet most of his grandchildren. Oh , how we love President Nelson.
Pres Nelson gave such an inspiring talk, and the revelations he gives are strong and powerful. The previous conference in his talk was so real to me that it was fulfilled in my life. I felt the full impact of Satan s power over my life for taking his advice lightly. I look forward to hear him again this coming conference in April23

This message has really hit home for me. The things he mentioned are things that I have been thinking about a whole lot lately. It’s very reassuring to know that my thoughts have alinded with what this Prophet has said. And the direction that we need to go. That the beacon in the darkness is Jesus Christ. Is this Church. In this Gospel and the prophet and apostles. This Church of Jesus Christ is my shelter from the storm. My safe haven.

Keeping the commandments is a commitment, not an accomplishment. When we do all we can to increase our capacity, we are blessed with increased capacity. And our loaves and fishes are multiplied to feed all who hunger for truth.

Ive struggled with depression and especially confidence for 5 years now, and ive found out that the oppositioner will always try to make me doubt myself. But we can overcome this overwhelming feeling of responsibility and guilt by focusing on both mental health, and pray god to help us. Just know that god knows our potential, he will never give us a challenge we cannot survive. Together we can make it brother!
This General Conference was/is such a special, spiritual Conference! I could feel the spirit so strong! I was very emotional throughout each session! Allot of the time it's not them denying the truthfulness of the church and if it is true or not ... I think it's sometimes the fact when we are in church and listening it requires changing attitudes and yes should I say it changing ourselves and change is hard ..

I always find it interesting 🤔 that people of other faiths find the need to put our faith down, and by doing so proclaim to be more righteous! This is not behavior the savior Jesus Christ, would condone! Jesus Christ and his marvelous example to us , would not have taught this division between his brothers and sisters! There are many reasons why people belong to this church! I personally have been to many churches and I never feel God's Truth in them! Hi Jeff, The gift of prophecy is the gift of testifying to the world of Jesus Christ. President Russell and Nelson does this very often. He also is authorized to give unique counsel, guidance, and alteration of church policy when needed. Here's a scripture that explains one of the main gifts that constitutes a prophet of God: "And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." -Revelation 19:10 I hope this helps answer your question somewhat. When the St. Louis Temple opened there were pictures of the interior. One of the photos was the baptismal font. My 5 year old saw and said "look Mama, Heavenly Father has a spa in his house too"!!
His final words as he closed his message gave me the feeling that God’s calling him home - I wanted to cry! Whether his time is between now and the next conference, or in the years to come, I realized my love and respect for this wonderful prophet of God in a moment of feeling as though it may be the last time “until we meet again”❤️

Could there be any doubt, that after Elder Bednar's talk on the wedding feast which is specifically talking about the 2nd coming, then followed by Pres Nelson who decides to show the video of the Savior's visit, that he could not possibly be ANY MORE CLEAR that the 2nd coming is imminent?? That is my opinion anyway....

Suicide hurts all. This morning, our daughters husband felt his only way out was to take his life. They were sealed 14 years ago in the St. George Temple. The Lord is real, and life is precious and short. He sought prospecting help, the church programs, even A.A. but he lost his faith. It is a happy thought we do not have to mourn faithless. There is a life to come, because of our elder brother Jesus Christ.

What a tender mercy! I lost a brother to suicide and it is shattering, there is no pain like it, but there have been many miracles to help us feel supported, and loved as we continue to heal. I wish I could wrap my arms around you and hug you.

Exactly! The lord has no restrictions on how he chooses to speak to us, if we pray with good intent and love.
I was an atheist for a long time, and depression only got worse and worse.
I got my testimony through praying and hoping i would get a verse i could read as one last option i could try before i gave up, that would help me through my struggle. And i got a chapter in alma, and a verse, that i had never even heard of in my entire life.
And then, doubt followed, i thought to myself "No, you are just insane, this is just a coincidence".
So i prayed for a second time, convinced i would not get another answer. And then it happened again, i prayed to know if it was really him and tears were bursting out, because i thought i had gone insane and satan made me doubt. Then i got another chapter and two numbers in my mind again: Luke 24:38 "38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?"
i had NEVER even heard lf this in my entire life, it was so direct and straightforward, right to the point. Ever since this, i have never doubted god and his son ever again, i know he is real, and i know he sees us individually. Peace :)

I keep coming back to this talk again and again and again. Each time I come back I hear something that I didn’t hear in the previous time that I watched it. There are layers of meaning and warnings and instructions and I can really feel the love. In case I haven’t said it before I want the world to know publicly that I love this man. I really do believe that he is a prophet of God. I have not been in the church for a long time but I have decided to turn my feet back onto the path that leads back to the Savior and back to heavenly father and it is in no small part due to this man and the other apostles and what they have had to say. I know the Lord speaks through them and I reject the worlds false teachings. We are in the last days. I am getting my house in order and I am trying to prepare myself and my family as best as I can. I appreciate the blessings of the Lord and I will be as strong and courageous as I Canby. I wish blessings for all of us who stand fast and stand in holy places and remain unmoved by the world.

Hes such a nice guy. I live him so much. I do feel like this was a goodbye talk. It makes me so sad to think that he wont be on this earth much longer. You're right. It had a very somber tone to it. Very sincere, and heartfelt. The tears he held back are an indication that he is aware that his time left on this terrestrial plane is short. I've been away from the church for some time now. I stopped attending when President Gordon B. Hinckley was still the head of the church, so I didn't experience the leadership of Thomas S. Monson. I'm glad i got to hear from President Nelson while he is still alive.
That hit me actually bec i feel it immediately that way...i was touched bec i am remi ded of the Savior as he was making a speech of goodbye to his disciples...
We need to hear the voice and words of our prophet in this days, because we all going through trails, I’m grateful to be a member of a wonderful church and community

Never before have I felt as close to a prophet of God as I have with you. You, President Oaks and President Eyring, together with the Quorum of the Twelve are the true leaders of this world, the only leaders of this world. I listen to nobody else. God bless you all. I love President Nelson for many reasons. I know he is our Prophet. Many years ago, he performed heart surgery on my father which saved his life. He was able to witness all of his children’s weddings and meet most of his grandchildren. Oh , how we love President Nelson.
Pres Nelson gave such an inspiring talk, and the revelations he gives are strong and powerful. The previous conference in his talk was so real to me that it was fulfilled in my life. I felt the full impact of Satan s power over my life for taking his advice lightly. I look forward to hear him again this coming conference in April23

This message has really hit home for me. The things he mentioned are things that I have been thinking about a whole lot lately. It’s very reassuring to know that my thoughts have alinded with what this Prophet has said. And the direction that we need to go. That the beacon in the darkness is Jesus Christ. Is this Church. In this Gospel and the prophet and apostles. This Church of Jesus Christ is my shelter from the storm. My safe haven.

Life wouldn’t be easier… but I get what you’re saying.
Keeping the commandments is a commitment, not an accomplishment. When we do all we can to increase our capacity, we are blessed with increased capacity. And our loaves and fishes are multiplied to feed all who hunger for truth.

Ive struggled with depression and especially confidence for 5 years now, and ive found out that the oppositioner will always try to make me doubt myself. But we can overcome this overwhelming feeling of responsibility and guilt by focusing on both mental health, and pray god to help us.
Just know that god knows our potential, he will never give us a challenge we cannot survive. Together we can make it brother!

Allot of the time it's not them denying the truthfulness of the church and if it is true or not ... I think it's sometimes the fact when we are in church and listening it requires changing attitudes and yes should I say it changing ourselves and change is hard ..
Easy : the True church of Jesus Christ follows the Scriptures given by the Real and only original 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ !

This is not behavior the savior Jesus Christ, would condone! Jesus Christ and his marvelous example to us , would not have taught this division between his brothers and sisters! There are many reasons why people belong to this church! I personally have been to many churches and I never feel God's Truth in them! I only feel the spirit of God in the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints!

The gift of prophecy is the gift of testifying to the world of Jesus Christ. President Russell and Nelson does this very often. He also is authorized to give unique counsel, guidance, and alteration of church policy when needed. Here's a scripture that explains one of the main gifts that constitutes a prophet of God:
"And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
-Revelation 19:10

When the St. Louis Temple opened there were pictures of the interior. One of the photos was the baptismal font. My 5 year old saw and said "look Mama, Heavenly Father has a spa in his house too"!!
His final words as he closed his message gave me the feeling that God’s calling him home - I wanted to cry! Whether his time is between now and the next conference, or in the years to come, I realized my love and respect for this wonderful prophet of God in a moment of feeling as though it may be the last time “until we meet again”❤️
