Hey CC - on your last video you mentioned how much easier mucking out would be if you had a AT dumper instead of the little carts. Your commitment to the horses is why we watch your channel and your intent to get more this summer is yet more work and another soul rescued. There is no reason you can't ask us to crowd fund specific items particularly expensive equipment. It doesn't contradict the integrity of your adventure which I get you don't feel is our responsibility. But with 50,00 subs - a $ each for the pleasure you give us is not asking a lot - and you are still funding the care. We can help - most of us would like to contribute. Just set up the page!! Anything left over will buy the stock fencing you need right now.
Would something like that come from Tractor Supply? I wonder if they have an online gift card program , if not it would be a good idea for online farm type creators.
Lets get the Girl a tractor!! CC can poke it into the separate stalls and not have to rake and shovel for outside loading. I have no experience of managing horses so no idea for the best option. If there are viewers with expertise or a vehicle franchaise who can advise - front bucket with a set of forks for getting bales stacked and de-stacked, and a power-hitch for moving trailers etc would save CC from another back injury - the horses also suffer then. How easy would that be to break up the ice?
They all seem happy and doing well! It will be nice when the snow is gone and thi is dry up! You have so much patience and love for these sweet horses❤
There are a couple ATV Dump trailers on that A website! I tried to put a few in a comment and it was deleted??? Not sure why? CC could add one she likes on her wish list and we could send gift cards. I love this channel. I love all the horses and the hard work CC puts in taking care of them. Would love to chip and and get her something she would use all the time.
Oh I love this channel girl! It's my life too and the Mud Coatings...I laughed and laughed. I love Tiny. My barn cats are Storm and Mouse, Ben and Mifflin. I love that your life is just like mine. Yahoo! 😂
Pete is SUCH a gorgeous horse!🐎 His facial markings are stunning!❤ Also looks like he's a bit mischievous.😉 Seriously tho, thank you for accepting Pete "as Pete". ❤ Beautiful
Nothing you do or touch is boring, dear lady...because you have a heart that sparkles. Thank you for easing my anxiety and teaching me so much about these majestic creatures through your videos.
I respect that you don't try to change a horse when you know it wouldnt be healthy for them. It would just retraumatize them. Just like people each one is unique with their own quirks. Im glad you are able to know when you can and cannot train something out if them and keep them so they will always be safe, loved and allowed to just be themselves. ❤️
If these videos tell me nothing else, they do tell me how smart these horses are. I get that they have a lot of time to figure things out, but the way they "problem-solve" is inspiring. They are relentless!! 😁
Tiny is a TERRIFIC CAT!! She likes her toys and she commands her domain!! The horses LOVES The Mud!! They just loves to play and be horses!! This is a SIGN!! That SPRING IS HERE!!❤😊❤😊!!
um im laughing so hard at stewie and little gus.. I'd love to put 80s hair metal music to their shenanigans 😂 I swear it would look like they are jamming out
To me, who knows nothing about horses and their pens, it looks like a hot mess, but you are cheerfully tromping thru it wishing spring into your pens and pastures! 😂❤😊
Hi ..just to let you know, we are really enjoying your vlogs, very much appreciated, best wishes to you and your lovely horse family Sue & Ben (Woodhall Spa) UK.xx
Every time I see that you've uploaded something I get excited and watch it immediately; doesn't matter what the video is even about! Your soothing voice and kindness is just wonderful.❤
8:50 I have 4 siblings although I don't want to anthropomorphise; not actually wanting to play, but just wanting to be irritating is quite recognisable to me
Just to add to your fan base, happened to show your channel to a couple friends---this 'boring Horse stuff'---both friends are experienced grounds keepers & turf maintenance gurus at our local Muni golf course. They were gobsmacked & agog at the landscape, & different water/ice/drainage scenarios, multiple details & thinking out the sequences you casually identify in short range and long term with the horses as a priority factor. Grass seed took them over the Edge. No clip board, no CADD or 3D models. Both friends are old school experienced & appreciate Real World nitty gritty. Then we looked at video w the early thaw, but paw prints in snow---showing their favorite nemesis: ground dwellers who burrow & surface. A horses who opens a water spout got them. Tiny was star of the shows.
Interesting that you say that the horses stay warmer if you brush the mud off, and they can fluff up their coats. I always believed that a good coat of mud stopped the wind.
I think your videos are magnificent! What a kind and sweet person you are. So good hearted, looking after the dearest horses who desperately need love and excellent care. You must also take very good care of yourself! Everyone needs you. I hope your TH-cam channel takes off and makes your other real life job redundant (though I think you love a good ol shop, I sure do enjoy watching you buy tack, thrifty stuff and especially horse!!!). PS Nothing boring about you or your horse stuff, some of us dream we could do 1/4 of what you do! and live vicariously through your channel. I wait up on the other side of the world to watch your vids, they make my day. Thank you again, you really are a Clever Cowgirl PS do you have a different way people could band together to support bigger ticket items like maybe vet fees or individual horses or helping toward a hay shed or tow and collect? Paypal or something? Not that keen on Amazon 😿
@ILuvHorses-ny1sv The Clever Cowgirl's channel is monetized, so she should be able to accept SuperChat donations during Live videos. I'm pretty sure CC has figured out how to post her pre-edited Sunday videos as if they were a Live video. She posts at the same time every week to make it easy for Subscribers to join her at that time.
Now I'm wondering if I should get my cats a rubber chicken lol. Impressive how much of a mess Scarlett can make of herself. Pete seems like a sweet horse in his own anxiety-riddled way. He deserves a hug, but I doubt he'd want one. ❤
We had four contiguous paddocks that made up our pasture area. The back one was for first cutting hay and summer grazing. The other three connected the two barns. The entry to the run ins and the gates in between were always full of muck when it rained. We had to be careful some days that our boots did not get sucked off our feet. I had more than one "muddy" sock over the years. 🤣 Tiny was perfectly happy with the rubber chicken. lol. My cats will make toys out of anything.
I love your wind chime intro! Horses are individuals. Some are idiots and some are brilliant, even heros and the criminal minded ie. runners, fence jumpers/breakers Just like people, horses develop their minds to do things their own way unless you can teach them, gently, a better way. You like challenges and your herd shows that. And the success you have with your training. And Tiny is such a character! Your barn would be a lonelier place without her. I never heard of "mouse belly" before! LMAO.
You should definitely think about a 501.3c my first horse is an auction horse. The training you provide them and experience sharing on TH-cam are nice to see the patience and kindness you have for them.
Omg all of the grooming! My heart is wrapped up in dogs. I work with dogs. I am a Rough and Smooth Collie enthusiast despite not being old enough to understand Lassie. I'm constantly grooming!! So the part with you at 16:00 just killed me. So freaking funny. HOW do they get so dirty! Can you just power wash a horse?
Gotta love the "training session" with Tiny and the rubber chicken! Great update on all the pasture residents, too. Looking forward to more info on Goose and any others. ❤❤❤
Just purchased my first (beginner) horse and I’m learning how to groom him from watching your videos. I noticed you take short strokes. Your videos are lesson videos for me. Great Job! Thanks for sharing! And feel free to let us know what products, etc. you need most. 👏💛💙💚
The horses especially the geldings have a cute playful mischievous side to them, they’re all beautiful, omg the mud at least spring is coming then the summer, I can’t wait, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
I love your videos. Your horses have such great personalities. Tiny is hilarious! I'm battling the mud here in Tennessee and understood how mucky the horses get. I'm brushing them daily and end up covered in hair. lol Mine need baths for sure! You do such a wonderful job keeping your horses happy and healthy.
Don't you think it would be more comfortable if you had a kind of "GoPro / cell phone holder" that you could attach as a strap around your head or upper body? That way you could work with 2 hands instead of having to film with one hand If you would put something like this on your amazon wishlist, I would be happy to help you. Making better videos for TH-cam will make you money, which you can use for yourself, the yard or directly for the horses You are doing good work that I want to support!
This is gonna sound strange - even silly. I use to live in Northern California and learned alot about water management in light of how they do their commercial rice farms, water being an expensive resource. Rice and almond farms are a big deal there. They have huge innerconnected patties, seeded via aircraft, where flow as both hydration and dehydration are required as part of the farming process. The patties are laser leveled to within 1/4 inch to accomplish all that. The tractor goes around the patties with the laser in the center to get their desired slope. I was just imagining how nice it would be for your pastures management if they were laser leveled with a 1/4 inch common slope for both quick common drainage and complete grass hydration for when you're needin' it to grow to feed your herd. Just a thought. Even though you wouldn't need a seed-casting by-plane, you'd probably be the only one in America doin' it as part of comprehensive pasture management for feedin' horses. ❤
The more I watch , the more I admire you take care of all the horses on your own ... I wish I had your energy and strenght . My ( former ) tomcat Sam seems a bit smitten on Tiny ... He's on top of my phone 😂
Easy to get 501(c)3 status for free if you find a pro bono lawyer who loves horses & then you’ll be able to raise a lot more cash! I did it then got others to do it too in Vermont ❤️ Ben & Jerry’s as well as The VT Country Store supported us, just stay under the $10000 per annum ceiling to begin!
I love your sight. It amazes me the knowledge you have of your horses and land. I have the feeling you were raised with horses and probably a father that didn't mind his daughter learning how to be a great horse lady. It amazes me the tasks you take on yourself. I was quite a tomboy growing up but my mother limited many things from me because she felt it was not "lady like". She and my older sister were always telling me to act like a lady. I always thought my brother got to do the fun things. ha I have a few girl cousins that can work with wood tools and make beautiful things. they also attack yard and home chores like it is nothing. I truly envy their unlimited mindset. Needless to say I truly "Love" your sharing your life with us. I'm entering an older age now and I truly love watching your young energy and your knowledge of caring for your land and horses. Even taking on the chores of a furrier. Amazing. You go girl. Show other young girls that they can take on things and still be a girl. It does not keep you from being feminine. I admire that! I'll continue watching your sight enjoying your life with you. Stay strong girl!!!
Loving your videos on each horses back story! My girlfriend is also dealing with the mud in her horse pens. Worst she’s ever seen where she lives. It’s finally starting to “feel” like spring! 😄❤
I love all your videos, especially those that feature a certain horse and their journey. I'm still learning who is who, and those profile videos are quite helpful! I'm still amazed to see how comfortably Scarlett behaves with you today, after watching your series on her. Looking forward to the next one!
I know nothing about horses, being a suburbs gal but I have had animals all my life. I am so respectful of the mindful care you give your animals. And you are so knowledgeable and intuitive, you clearly have a special gift. Those who find their way into your care are truly blessed. I may have missed it, but if you haven’t created one yet, a background video of how you got to where you are now would be so interesting. And perhaps instructive to some wanting to learn how to or improve their care. Best wishes going forward.
Looks like Spring has put some spring in some of the horses steps! Don't we all love it when we can finally feel the warmth! I bet they will love losing that winter coat when you get to them. They are just beautiful, and you take such good care of them! You were born to do this. Like someone else said if we lived close by we'd help you brush the horses! Thanks for sharing as always!❤
Agree some things cannot be trained out of a horse. More of an acceptance of the horse “as is” and moving forward. From a novice but an older man who thinks more about being able to recognize what is reality. Why waste energy spitting into the wind?
I know your place is a rental, but can't you implement some elevation based draining there? Like on (european) football fields. They're usually not flat but a little bit "round", so the water automatically drains off to each side of the pitch. It is work upfront yes, but way less work later on. Maybe 1 or 2 days pushing dirt around with semi-heavy machinery and digging some minor water channels on the side of each pen. Your back would love it, I'm sure and it'll be less sisyphus every "melting time" than currently.
You work so hard. I loved when I worked at the stables. Yes it was hard cleaning 35 stalls and feeding and grooming others horses all the time. Most people wanted their horses stalled but would only come on the weekends. More often when school was out. The barn isle was 140 x15' so we would turn them out and let them out in the isle daily to run off a little energy. While I worked there the Heinz Hitch took over for several years. And I got to drive the wagon in the large arena those are 8 very intelligent well trained powerhouses. But gentle as can be. Me at 5'2 had to get a stool to groom them. And riding one is unforgetable. Lol. But man you feel muscles you didnt know you had later they are so broad. ❤😂
I enjoyed this video so much. Spring is such a time of anticipation and we'll, mud. I always looked forward to my horses shedding out and their first bath. Also I really enjoy how you narrate your videos. Just plain calm horse talk. Thank you and looking forward to Saturday's video.🤍🌹
You mentioned traits that are passed down. I assume some of those are temperament? How do you learn about different QH traits by bloodline? That would be interesting to read. Thank you for your fun videos. Love Tiny!
So happy to hear you'll have some extra $$ soon and might purchase hay troughs for feeding. Less hay being wasted and trampled around is a good thing. Enjoy your postings so much, CC. Thanks for letting us tag along through your day! (I'm going to see about getting a small screaming chicken like that for my cats. I think they might enjoy it.)
This is an Algorithm Comment, because I'd love to support the Clever Clowgirl.
Have a good one
Your videos are in no way boring so please dont put boring in the title. Your energy is hypnotically calming
I came for the horses, but I stay for Tiny. 🐈
The absolute truth.
Tiny's going to eventually have her own channel!

Love watching you and your beautiful horses!

We love all your “ boring “ videos!!!
…Tiny and her rubber chicken. What more can one ask for on a beautiful Thursday morning. 😁☺️ 🐔 🐈⬛ 🐾 💕
Cannot wait to see the Goose Documentary!!! Cheers from Maine and similar mud headaches...

He thinks I’m a idiot 😆
Your animals are amazing!

I love how you love Pete. I love Pete, too. Sometimes, I just "good cry" when I watch your videos.
If these videos tell me nothing else, they do tell me how smart these horses are. I get that they have a lot of time to figure things out, but the way they "problem-solve" is inspiring. They are relentless!! 😁
You are made of much tougher stuff than I ... that springtime reclaiming of your pastures looks like awfully hard work 😳
Its really not to bad. Once the grass starts growing it bounce back quick!
I love your dialog, your videos never disappoint and for sure are never boring. ✌️
She does it to make you clean it out !😅😅
Tiny with the chicken was priceless
You are such a hard worker❤️❤️❤️
When you scratcher, she makes the giraffe nose, soooo cute!!! My paint mare does the same thing!😍😊🥰😘🐴
Tiny is my favorite and always owns the show in her own precious way ❤
I love Pete's "catch me if you can" prance! He is a such a handsome horse!😊
I love making the chore rounds with you via video. I learn so much from your narration. It’s the next best thing to being there 😄
I guess tiny is done mouse hunting. Lights! camera! Action!❤
A tiny go pro helmet on Tiny would be cool (but also difficult to watch!)
A good video for a cloudy dreary day!

Yeah, it just comes back to you. Figure out a way to avoid it before you spit, maybe your back to the wind next time 😂😂😂
Pete is a fine horse for me! I don’t think I’m wasting money, he is an investment in my happiness and skills as a trainer=priceless
Goose is so pretty!
Tiny seems like a wonderful feline. Pretty too. Great use of chicken. Love seeing all the horses up close and personal.
Can’t wait to see Tiny ❤
I know your place is a rental, but can't you implement some elevation based draining there? Like on (european) football fields. They're usually not flat but a little bit "round", so the water automatically drains off to each side of the pitch. It is work upfront yes, but way less work later on. Maybe 1 or 2 days pushing dirt around with semi-heavy machinery and digging some minor water channels on the side of each pen. Your back would love it, I'm sure and it'll be less sisyphus every "melting time" than currently.
We could contribute to the pay of this endeavor....
Tiny!!! 😻😻😻
Man, I wish 60 degrees. It’s hitting the 80’s already in Phoenix.
I’m still binge watching your videos, enjoying them immensely. ❤
Scarlet is one dirty lady! Glad she stool so still for you. ❤
You mentioned traits that are passed down. I assume some of those are temperament? How do you learn about different QH traits by bloodline? That would be interesting to read. Thank you for your fun videos. Love Tiny!
Love your videos ❤ keep them coming 😊
Hahaha Love your horse names ! God Bless
Love Tiny ❤
Lolol😂😂😂 cat's and chicken's 😂😂❤
I am watching this in Jan 2025 and cant believe how wet you were here.
