gaming has changed. It's no longer about players, unlocks, or enjoyment. It's an endless series of proxy battles fought by corporations and players. Gaming - and its false promise of finished games - has become a profit machine. Gaming has changed. DLC packs, Players buy un-finished games, use online transactions. energy drinks inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. micro transactions control. useless DLC bundle control, player control. Gaming control. Everything is half assed and kept under control. Gaming has changed.

The nanomachine subplot is one of the greatest, most well-built social criticisms ever. Since it's a system that's planted inside a soldier that regulates damn-near everything the man does, it kinda corelates back to the internet in general. The news we read are controlled. The comments we make are controlled. The videos we post are controlled.

    Memes have changed.
It's no longer about comedy, ideologies, or creativity. It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by shitposters and corporations.
Memes -- and their conjurance of trends -- have become a well-oiled machine.
    Memes... have changed.
hash-tagged users follow hash-tagged trends, use hash-tagged messages. Emojis within their text enhance and regulate their material.
Information control, emotion control, memetic control... everything is monitored and kept under control.
    Memes have changed.
The age of self-broadcasting has become the age of control, all in the name of connecting everyone through social media, and he who controls the website, controls the people.
    Memes... have changed.

      comedy has changed.
it's not about being funny, or making someone smile,
its not even made for the fun of it.
it's an endless mountain of unfunny and unbased cringe,
made by karma whores and attention seekers.
comedy and its vast consumption of human creativity,
has become a well oiled machine, where there is only unbased and incel cringe.
      comedy has changed.
neckbeards make memes on a server, with power tripping mods,
where they ban people for going against the echo chamber
based cringe in their veins enhance their ego,
and make them unfunny and cringe
      femboy control... information control...
      emotion control... subreddit control.
everything is monitored, and kept under control.
      comedy has changed.
The age of mlg pro gmaer shrek and harambe and we are number one is now the age of unbased attention seekers,
averting the based from memes of originality.
and he who controls the subreddit, controls history.
      comedy has changed.
when the subreddit is under full control by the mods.

I remember fondly. It was August 31st, 2009. I was just about to turn 17. I just got home from Gamecrazy with my brand new Playstation 3 Slim, along with a copy of Grand Theft Auto 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4: Gunds of the Patriots. I hooked everything up to my small 19' MAGNAVOX 720P Television that had a small 2.1 Altec Lansing stereo system plugged into for better sound. I turned on my new playstation 3, wen't through the set-up screen and put my copy of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. I booted it up and I was immediately blown away by how amazingly good the graphics were during the install screen where Old Snake just stands there smoking a cigarette. Once the opening cutscene (Which is this) played out, I was immediately captivated. The Music that played and then hearing Old Snake speak for the first time! It definetely changed my life, if not just making a huge impact on me. I couldn't believe I had finally got myself a copy of this. Seriously one the best video games ever!

He was a terrorist and a villain but he fought for what he thought was correct. On the other hand is Solid Snake. He's also a broken man but whose goal in life was to stop wars. Witcher 2 is a great game, but Witcher 3 is the masterpiece in the series. Although the first game is decent, it hasn't aged well at all, but in comparison MGS1 still plays great. Witcher 2 and definitely Witcher 3 are fantastic games with 3 setting a standard in it's genre, which by the way, is quite different from MGS. And I love Witcher 3 and 2. I found this from a video parodying the monologue, so if you wanna repeat this one instead, be my guest.
      _"Fortnite, has changed..."_
"It's no longer about your loadout, your backbling, or what skin(outfit) you use-"
"-it's an endless series of bot lobbies, fought by defaults(recruits) and 12 year olds."
"Fortnite and it's consumption of V-bucks has become a well-oiled machine."
      _"Fortnite, has changed..."_
"Battle pass owners wear their Peter Griffin skins(outfits), Flying in on their Petercopters."
"Cosmetics on their loadout enhance and regulate their abilities."
"Character Lockers, Emote Lockers, Wrap Lockers-"
"Everything is monitored and separated in the locker."
      _"Fortnite, has changed..."_
"The age of building has become the age of Zero Build."
"All in the name of averting rage quits from turbo sweats."
"And he who controls the game, controls history."
      _"Fortnite, has changed..."_
"When the island is under total control."
      _"Fortnite; becomes routine."_

Idc what everyone said about MGS4, this is prolly my favourite interactive movie of all time.
The first two acts start off really strong than Europe ruins the pacing quite a bit that it struggles to recover than bam! Shadow Moses brings it back up than outer heaven keeps/raises the momentum until the final boss fight where it's prolly the best way to end a franchise. Imo no other game has done it quite like MGS4 and I don't think any game ever will. This is how you end a franchise on a high note!

Playing mgs1, 2 and 3 back in the day, I thought 4 was going to be another fun adventure (I mean, I am aware of the seriousness of the franchise but lets be real mgs has wacky moments) but after listening to that first "war" by Mr. David Hayter, you knew you were in for a ride.
