ye I have a big bunch of stuff, like 20 different scenes and I use them as nested scenes on the main scenes.
I'm not sure what uses the most RAM
might be the plugin which removes spotify audio for the 2nd audio track

and do you know how when i stream and my stream stutters i use a phone as a webcam but when my stream lags my webcam lags aswell is there a way that my webcam cannot stutter?
I have a 1050ti but my OBS lists NVENC but does that only apply to newer GPU's? I wouldnt expect a 1050ti to carry the stream
when i go into output and go to the streaming settings, theres the encoder and rescale output and under that it says "no properties available". how do i fix that?
Hoping to get into streaming music / guitar stuff with obs, myself. Nothing special my any means, but a friend had given me two Dell Optiplex 780's and a Dimension E521. I run my music production software on another tower and plan on streaming thru OBS on a separate computer.
I had ran OBS on one of my toshiba laptops before but the lag was unbearable! Hoping one of these freebie towers will do a better job. The Optiplex 780 I'd imagine will be my better bet over the e521.

Question: when I set video in settings to 30fps, why is it that camera properties FPS options only offer 59.94fps? No option for 30fps
I use a ps5 on 120 fps and I have the new el gato card they just came out with to be able to play on 120 and steam I have a lap top with i5 processor and Ge force 1050 TI will this video and these settings work for me ?

Hi, i ve got a question, for what reason do we need to rescale the output to 720p in the output tab, we already set the basic resolution to 720p, there is nothing to rescale. Or did i miss something?
You dont need to put the base canvas to 720 just put the rescale to 720 or maybe 480 if it lags

I have the Ryzen 3 3200u and can record/screen capture (music video reactions with no issues. I only run into problems when trying to use the StreamFX plugin for blur effects and such. I am hoping with these settings it will allow me to use the plugins too!
Man.. 30% of the info you gave is only correct. The other 70% are bs.. A+ for the effort and presentation, but the rest is just gonna mess with the head of people just starting to use obs studio..

Question.. i know this video is old but hoping you'll see it. My base resolution was set to 1080p when i went through all my scenes etc. But when i want to lower the base to 720p everything looks stretched, both preview and stream looks like half the image is missing. Ideas?
Srink it until it is small and then hold shift and stretch out the image till it fits the whole screen
@@jdo6243 Oh I know how to scale things. The sheer amount of sources/scenes I would have to do however makes it not worth it.. was hoping for a simpler solution.
@@iFantomeN the base resolution is actually supposed to be set to the resolution of whatever you're capturing.

Ok mine is black screen so I need to enable the dual display to capture my game screen and my processor is A6 AMD my build in graphics card is Radeon TM r5 graphics and my video card is GeForce 9400 GT I followed all the low settings tutorial it lag so bad. but not to much when I don't have a video card GeForce 9400 before can you please teach me? I don't have NVAC also it seems OBS doesn't detect my video card except for the AMD Hardware. and also there was a time when I run my game the display software in the device manager is automatically disabling and the only graphic card remain working is the AMD.

I have bandicam and obs installed in my laptop and watched over 10 videos about streaming on low end pc. Without streaming, I get 130-144fps in valorant (locked to 144fps). While recording with bandicam I get 120-130fps. But when I open obs (not streaming/recording) I get 70-90fps. Both software have same settings for encoding ( Nvenc new) and bitrate. I don't have created any scene in obs.
Can you help me?

why u have vsync on disable that shit it may limit ur fps and it also may help with ur obs problem (maybe)
@@kafaae i dobt have vsync enabled, my monitor is 144hz so i've capped the fps to 144
I have 2 options for the encoder. x264 and the other is H.264, which one you think its best for i3 -2348m and intel hd 3000? By default its x264 but the game kinda drop frames when i started streaming.

my stream all looks fine on my end, the game runs really smooth but when i look at the stream from twitch it looks really choppy and it looks like a slideshow. my cpu usage is around 70% and my upload speed is literally average 37.8mbps. idk what’s wrong
change your bitrate to higher

For Low-end Quicksync is a good option

I have a rtx 2060 and ryzen 7 3700x and I stream to TH-cam since the obs update to 28 now my videos and streams look blurry alittle bit my up load speeds r 40 mbps up and 115 mbps down before the update every thing was sharp now not
is there a video for recording?
The only issue i have with my stream currently is the blurriness, what setting should i specifically tackle to fix this.
