will definitely be giving this a try. I'm on my first PC build trying out streaming and since my PC is kind of a mix of different parts i could afford, the stream quality tends to suffer if i run everything on high settings.

Glad you made this video, because I tried to run a stream on my laptop and it has an AMD A6 processor and it was running fine until the stream start running into a HUGE amounts of lag and I found out that lot of them were on the higher settings and I hope by following your video's instruction the stream will run better. Maybe there might be some lag but not as much as there was on my first stream.

Um I got total war warhammer for free and I wanted to stream it bc I think the game is pretty cool but my pc has some lag only when I stream it and this video helped me out a bit my laptop (not a pc) still has frame drops but it’s bc it just can’t handle streaminf and playing I appreciate this video and it did help me out a lot tho your truly goated for this don’t forget it man thank u

Thank you so much my laptop is considered middle of the road yet playing anything on a capture card lags it out to a point my test stream had nothing OBS told me it was dropping frames every few seconds and nothing worked and it appears to work sometimes when I just run the program so I’ll adjust some settings and this gives me a good place to start as to what to look for
My cpu is a ryzen 5 2600, and GPU is a Radeon 5500 xt gaming x, today I was streaming warzone at 720p 60fps and my vram went up to 108% usage, please let me know wat settings I should use to not over use my gpu please
i got a ryzen 2300x and when i stream my cpu is 50% but my stream freezes and sometimes it goes from 50 to 100 for 1 second then back to 50 for 30 seconds

I did your settings but my video lags. I use TH-cam to stream and I put 2000 as my bitrate. When I'm not streaming it runs fine but when i actually stream it messed up and just starts dropping frames. I use a Evoo laptop which I use to connect the Xbox app to my TV & my TV sends data back to my laptop to project whats on the TV to the streamlabs obs game capture. Is there something wrong with my laptop or is it the app?

Try reinstalling streamlabs and trying to install it again, if it continues, make sure that you drag the window capture above any other thing you have added!
