#ohora #dashingdiva #dashingdivaglaze - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I’ve tried both semi cured gel strips, properly prepared my nails for both sets and used a squish light for both sets.
Ohora nails started snagging 4 days in, Dashing Diva started snagging 10 days in.
Ohora does have cuter designs though.
I’m sure some of it comes down to nail shape and other individual factors. 10 days isn’t terrible. I agree on the designs - ohora has the best looking ones.
I loved your video! You left me wanting more. Great job!
Thank you! How kind of you ❤️❤️❤️
Great video! Very informative, to the point -- much appreciated
Thanks so much!
You have the best utube videos for gel stickers! Thank you so much! ❤
Oh my goodness so sweet!! Thank you ❤️
Such helpful details - thank you! 👏😊
Thanks!
Thanks for this video. I chose Dashing Diva because you mentioned the nail strips have larger sizes. 👍🏻
I hope they work well for you! ❤️
I love your fallout bobble head ! I just bought some glaze too!
Hahaha, that one is my husband’s. We have more than one… (bobble heads, not husbands)
@@kbeautyhobbit l really like your glaze tutorial as well keep up the good work!
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Since your nail videos seem to do the best, I think it would be super fun if you tried more nail wrap brands (with a gel top coat of course). Ones I can think of are Personail (Australian brand $9 a set) and Lily & Fox (only $3 a set). They both have free shipping on all orders no minimum. I have never tried them myself but I got obsessed with nail wraps recently and would love your thoughts!
There’s really no predicting on which videos will do best (nails are no exception), so I tend to focus on things that interest me at the moment. I do have some more nail content planned though, so stay tuned ❤️
You can do the acetone trick for ohora! And you can also use a squish light
I’ve heard of both of those tricks but they just add time to an already somewhat lengthy application, and I’m not super interested in that. Although I must admit a squish light does sound appealing, not just for Ohora but in general. Do you have a favorite brand you like?
What is a squishy light?
Excellent video.
Thank you so much
Concerning ohora... how can one tell when curing is completely finished?
(without using the cure detection meter that The Nail Hub demonstrates)
I just applied my first ever DD glaze and i did a couple rounds of 30secs before it felt "hard" - Then applied the gelish top coat and cured for another 45 secs.
This was my first ever experience with nail strips and i followed your video every step of the way!
THANKS SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR INCREDIBLY INFORMATIVE TUTORIALS!!!
They helped me so much!!!
🤗
Usually one or two rounds is enough. You can tell by gently pushing on the nail and if it doesn’t dent it’s cured. That’s my not very scientific method
Thank you for this video! I'm tempted to try DD nails. I used your Ohora ones to learn how to apply those and so far I love Ohora colors and patterns, but I do have the snagging issue. I notice usually after my first shower, it'll start to lift and grab my hair. But usually around day 3 or 4 of me. :( After about a week, I end up taking them off. I've never made it a full two weeks. I'm curious if I'd have better luck with DD. One question I do have, can you use the Ohora lamp for the Dashing Diva nails? If so, will only one round still be enough? Thank you again!
I’d try dashing diva gloss strips (they don’t need a lamp), I have no lifting issues with those at all. Video here: th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
As far as the lamp, I’m fairly sure they are all the same with just a different logo slapped on them (personal opinion). It would probably work, but I haven’t tested it myself. It would be easy to tell - if the nail is hard after one round, then it’s done.
@@kbeautyhobbit Awesome!! Thank you!
P.s. your eye shadow in this video is just gorgeous!
Thank you! My makeup skills are questionable at best, but I enjoy playing with it :)
Have you tried adding a gel top coat at the beginning of the second week? It can fill in the gaps and help you last another week.
I ended up trying both brands bec I could tell you preferred DD glaze. Oddly enough DD started snagging on day 2 for me, while ohora stayed strong for 10 days.
I guess it depends on wearers body chemistry?
So far I prefer Ohora bec they're easier to stretch and have cuter designs. I also found it weird that the tops of DD are sticky. Made it difficult to press down without leaving finger prints or fibers.
I think a lot probably depends on the person’s nail shape / curve. I’m glad many brands exist so we can all find something. I still have quite a bit of ohora to use up, and I agree - their designs are super cute
@@kbeautyhobbit love your videos tho! Really helpful to see how to apply them properly. I credit you for the stick-ons lasting as long as they do on my nails! I bought the DD Glazes on laborday sale for like $7.50 a set. Hard to beat at that price.
That’s a really good price!
I just applied my first set of dashing diva this morning and I tired to secure the edges really good, but I’m having a lot of lifting at the end of the nail
That’s frustrating. I recommend watching my tutorials.

Gloss: th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
I am a little confused on dashing diva. I feel like I've seen a version that requires no uv light but one that does. I think need the rigiditiy of the curing because it helps stop my nails from splitting on the sides which they always do. Does Samsung diva have a variation that needs curing?
Dashing diva makes several different things - magic press, gloss, glaze, and traditional press ons. Check out my Nails playlist for tutorials on a lot of them. The glaze kind requires curing.
Ohoha chips soon after wearing a few days or “bows” off nail…dashing dive, I’ve used 2 yrs and stays beautifully and longer
That’s interesting. I never had ohora chip.
I noticed on the Ohora nail strips, one sheet is labeled "basic" and the other is labeled "point". What is that all about? Thank you!!!
If I remember right, the “point” will have the accent colors on it. I don’t pay that close of attention to be honest, but I think I’m right
Can you use the Dashing Diva Led light for Ohora?
Yes. Although if you are going to be doing nails a lot, I’d get a larger / better lamp on Amazon. But these tiny “free with purchase” ones are all the same - just a different logo on top
I've only tried DD so far, but they started snagging my hair almost immediately after I put them on. It drives me crazy. Sad to hear that Ohora has the same problem.
The squish light eliminates that issue completely for me. Also dashing diva gloss never snags and requires no light.
Can you use the dashing diva gloss over the glaze?
I haven’t tried but I think that would be way too thick.
I tried the DD ones and they literally started to brake in pieces 😞 the next day. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
That is so strange. I wonder if you got a defective pack or something happened to it in transit. This is how I apply mine and I never had them breaking th-cam.com/video/0PAO1x0k5j4/w-d-xo.html
Ohora, my second set… really like, better than press nails , from 1 box=2manicures and 2pedicures…
Sounds like a great deal. Did you see they have a Black Friday special? Up to 70% off plus another 15% off with affiliate code LUCY. And free shipping on all orders

but which do you prefer?
My absolute favorite is dashing diva gloss (the ones that don’t need a lamp). But from the two in the video I prefer dashing diva as well.
