Thanks so much! This is the best tutorial I've seen on Ohora stretchy gel nail! 😃👍🏻I'm going to give these a try. I can't wait to see your updated tutorial!
This is the best review and tutorial I have seen on Ohora nails. I appreciate your thorough approach and walking through each step including the base and finish coats. Compared to other videos, I see how your application lasts longer and uses the product to its greatest potential. Thank you so much!
Truly one of the best videos out here regarding this product. Have gotten a full wear from each application and I come back here every time to make sure it's done right!!
I am so happy your tutorial was the first thing I watched. I just ordered a bunch of these stickers the other day and am awaiting. Silly me, I proceeded to come here AFTER I purchased, when the in-the-moment-excitement-insanity wore off and I decided I should probably watch some tutorials and reviews. After yours I watched several reviews/tutorials. Most people just slapped them on so I can see why they wouldn't last. Your tutorial was incredible, thorough and will save us all a lot of wasted money by messing up or getting frustrated and tossing them out. So thank you. I feel confident I can apply these with lasting success. I made sure to save this to "watch later" for easy access when I do receive them and go to apply. So thank you so much. This one video made me subscribe to your channel and start binging. Lol.
Kayla, thank you so much!! What a kind, thoughtful feedback. Prep really makes a difference in how long these last. If you find yourself becoming a DIY nail enthusiast, check out my other nail videos - I have a playlist. And more coming soon :)
I have already watched several. I will be following for sure. I don't have time or money to be at the salon all the time. And polish... Yea, no. Just a mess and it doesn't last. After seeing all these adds for Ohora I had to try it. Aside from Jamberry back in the day (which I never tried due to skepticism) I have never heard of anything like these. Being that I have Koreans in the family (mother in law) I know how great their products or methods etc, especially beauty ones can be. We use them. So your videos are especially great to me. Followed your tutorial to a T. I didn't have very good results the first time I tried these so came to YT for help and found you. I'm beyond pleased! I just finished the application and they look salon quality. Thank you so much!!
I’m so glad it was helpful! Sometimes even with perfect application ohora has issues to be honest. I prefer Nailog myself but currently wearing ohora because I have so many
This is exactly the kind of video I’ve been looking for. I love ohora nails. Thank you for sharing your process! Just ordered the gelish set and can’t wait to try this out.
Really appreciate this video you are lovely! I have the worst nails ever nothing stays on them. Gel manicure from the salon was my best bet but that’s not happening right now. So i decided to give Ohora a try. Most success I’ve ever had with stay power on my nails i am delighted! But still not getting two weeks out of them. So I’m taking your tips and trying this method with the base and top coat. Hope to have even better results. thanks so much!
Thanks for the feedback ❤️❤️❤️ You could try dashing diva. I find them a little easier to use and they do last two weeks no problem. But of course get the most out of the ohora you already bought. Here’s the DD video th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
I LOVE this tutorial. Thank you so much! I’m not very good with nail polish or stickers but this video really helped me out and my nails have been pristine for almost a week now! Never had nails this pretty last that long lol.
I have watched so many video reviews on ohora gel nails and yours is hands down the best I have seen. You answered all the questions I had with this and were thorough. Thank you!
I love your tutorial, and I've done the Ohora nails now 3 times. Each time I reopen your video to make sure I'm doing the steps right. I found a few things with the matte colors I'd share. Not sure if you've encountered this as well. Firstly, the sandwich wrap is extra sticky on the matte colors; secondly, if you do a gel polish overcoat, it'll no longer have the matte finish. That last part was a "duh moment" for me, but I was doing mine late and didn't think about it until I had started doing one hand. I think next time, I'll only do the gel polish over the stickers on the patterned nails and leave the matte as is. The set I was doing tonight was the N Mute Blusher. Thank you again so much for your video!! The pacing was excellent, thoughts and comments were thorough, and your step-by-step is so easy to follow!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I haven’t tried the matte colors, maybe I bought some but I still haven’t gone through my whole stash. Makes sense about the top coat. I do know some companies make a matte top coat, I used to have some years ago. If a top coat and the matte finish are both important, you can probably find one.
This video is amazing!!! I ordered Ohora and finally tried them out today it looks amazing. The instructions were SO helpful. I watched this video a few times bef9re I started and had it playing while I did the application. I feel like I want to write the step by step instructions down and have them handy if for somw reaosn I can't rewatch this video! I subscribed and saved this video to my nail tutorials playlist!
Just found out about these gel nails. Can't sit in salon anymore, and wow wow! Thanks for your tutorial. And for linking things up for us. Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for this review. I appreciate you showing us, how you "seal" the nails when finished. I used color street and it started coming up around the edges and wearing, jystcafter 3-4 day's. I didn't understand how people get them to last for 14 day's. I haven't had much luck with that.
Color street is polish and it will chip / rub off like polish. I prefer things that don’t chip (and that aren’t MLM). Glad you found the sealing demo helpful ❤️
I didn’t get the booklet when I ordered and I have had nails popping off left and right. They really don’t help you learn how to do this. I’m so grateful for your review so now I can try again!
I find this issue with many brands (even with the booklet) - they try to make the application seem super simple. Often brand videos (again, many brands, not just this one) are 1-2 minutes long. But in reality, people can’t achieve good long lasting results applying this way.
Same!! I got my first order last week and I’ve had my first set on for 48 hours and have already had to redo 3 of them. I even used the ohora base and top gel coat. Idk why they won’t stay! I also didn’t stretch them the way she did so I broke one during application. I stuck it down then tried to push the sticker to the where I wanted it.
That’s so frustrating. I hope you find a method that works for you. If not, I recommend dashing diva - an easier product to use. Video: th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for the helpful, clear video. I tried OHara for the first time yesterday, watching you the entire time. I never would have thought of applying the base coat on top, or curing before removing excess gel, so that what great info.
Thank you Lucy! Finally giving in and attempting home manicures and of course you have a video with all the answers! After years of your invaluable kbeauty recommendations and reviews I'm so pleased to use your nail videos 😊 xxx
Thank you Annabel. I hope your home manicure is a huge success. If it doesn’t go 100% perfectly the first time, don’t give up. There’s a bit of a learning curve with all of this.
Which site? These are totally different. Dashing diva does have its own version called Glaze, and the application is similar. But Ohora is a different company.
I bought some and got them in the mail yesterday and wanted a good tutorial on how to use them. After watching yours and going to watch someone else’s.. your video really is the best ! 😀 This video was so helpful and informative. I am excited to try it!
Wow you did a great job! I watched other tutorials and they just don’t compare to what you did here. You have an amazing voice and sense of humor and charisma!
This was amazing, you are so thorough and I love your tip to seal the free edge before doing the rest of the nail because I always noticed that bit of thickness after going to a nail salon. Thank you so much for this video, subscribing!
I’m so glad it was helpful. Thanks for the feedback. I didn’t invent the edge sealing thing, but it made so much sense when I saw it years ago in a gel application video. So I’ve been doing that ever since.
Your tutorial me are really the BEST on TH-cam. So thorough and best tips for new users. I used your dashing diva tutorial and my nails lasted over 3 weeks!! Can’t wait to try ohora nails :)
Thanks for all the advice along the way! I don’t always use the gloves, but I feel like here the curing time is so much longer than my usual (with dashing diva), that I really need to pay attention. You are right about the big ones for toes ❤️👌
Thank you. My 1st time & I had all I needed. I wish I'd found this video before my first hand but my dominant hand looks good! Thank you. Thing I can't get over, it looks like there's a 3rd sticker but the base+top coat seems to have helped that.❤
I think the “third sticker” is from the manufacturing process / whatever glossy top coat they use while printing these. I totally know what you mean! In some designs it’s less noticeable.
I bought the Dashing Divas Glaze strips for first time. And I swore I would never use Gel strips again but only use Nail strips or stickers instead. Because I found the cutting and filing the gel strips too difficult because it's so rubbery. Now I see that you filed after curing the nails which definitely makes filing much easier. Thnks so much 👍🏾
Great tutorial I followed along and oh my gosh I wish I can send a screenshot of my nails, but thank you so much. I’m a press on girl. And sometimes I need a breather… I’m not really that great when it comes to just the regular nail polish method. And I don’t feel like spending money at a nail shop. I remember seeing this brand. But I’ve never seen someone give such a detailed tutorial appreciate you sharing these tips. You have now earned a subscriber.😂❤
I just my mom's nails with the Ohora nails for the first time after watching this video and they came out so great!! Thank you, thank you so much!! You are awesome at explaining everything and making it so easy. Thank you for all the awesome tips, it was all so helpful! 😁❤
@@kbeautyhobbit thank you 😊 she's always had acrylics for as long as I can remember, but with covid she hasn't been going to get them done. So I've been trying to find at-home options that she likes. I was horrible at poly gel lol but these turned out great, she loves them 😁
thanks for the tips! My second application of Ohora nails (after I watched this video) has lasted better than when I tried doing it on my own. Using the rubber cuticle tool is a game changer, and painting the nail edge with the top coat is genius. One tip I have for you--the first time I used these, one popped right off a day later, and I glued it back on as though it was a press-on nail. That worked fine till I removed them!
I have such a complicated relationship with nail glue. I can never completely remove it without putting way too much effort into it. But it’s a good quick fix. Here’s a really good little tool I found that stopped all the hair snagging at the cuticle Life Changing ohora Trick - Squish Light - Better than ohora Acetone Trick | KBEAUTYHOBBIT th-cam.com/video/BSYYEcvhx24/w-d-xo.html
I found your video today. I did my nails the way you did in the video and they look way better with a top coat! Here is to hoping they will last longer with the pear gel coat.
You did a great job on this video. It seems time-consuming but I hope to try it and get faster as I go along. Your nails looked beautiful!! I’ve removed acrylic nails after years of use due to COVID and my nails are much shorter than yours. It’s been three months and they just don’t seem to grow. I may order these to give them a try and I’ll let you know. Again, loved your video!! 😊
Thanks Kathy. These are time consuming, I agree. Even after doing nails for years I still think these take some time. But at least they last a couple of weeks. Dashing divas are quicker (since they don’t have to be cured). I have an application video here: th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
Great video. I have been looking at different nail strips. I'm going to have to try these out. Thank you for the great tips. I hope mine come out as beautiful as yours.
Thanks Laurie. It takes a little practice but they aren’t super hard. I recommend trying a set from a few brands so you know which ones work best for you.
Great tutorial. As a perfectionist as well, I have been researching online before taking my inaugural foray, and your methodology is by far the most thorough, insightful and professional in its presentation. Would you please do a tutorial on using this method for a pedicure. I have seen others on TH-cam, and many use the leftover pieces from their manicures and apply them sideways or upside down. I would be interested in your take on whether it is possible to attain a flawless end result using "odds and ends" materials. Thank you! Where are you from and where do you live now? I did not see a bio on your homepage.
Hi Lisa. Starting from the end - I’m from Russia but I live in the Midwest USA now. I wouldn’t use odds and ends from the mani strips on toes. In my experience with other nail products (mostly Jamberry), it’s just a huge pain. Ohora does sell pedicure kits. I currently use Jamberry pedicure kits because they are so easy. No top coat, no lamp, very minimal trimming. And they last forever. As far as video, I may attempt it at some point. Having a hard time picturing how I would contort myself to still get it on camera haha.
I really like these options for these nails, but I've had some serious issues with a ridge at the cuticle snagging on my hair after a couple of days. I've tried filling in with polish (gel topcoat or otherwise) and filing at an angle, and end up with the same issue again very shortly. I really want to love the nails!
I get that issue sometimes too. Much less if I use the rubber cuticle pusher to really smoosh that part down. You may consider dashing diva nails - I never had that issue with them (and they are cheaper). US site: bit.ly/30bDxoS Tutorial: th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
thank you for the tip on using the floss pick OMG it worked so well gel and stickers love my nails so its difficult to take off. Also this was first time i used the dashing diva glaze thank you blessings sent for mothers day :-)
Thank you for this, I just bought these and one fell off in 24 hours. I now realize it was because it was on my skin because I used one that was a little too big. I’ll also try the other steps you mentioned. This was a great review and now I know how I can hopefully make sure they last a while. :-)
I’m glad you figured out quickly what the issue was. One of my followers said she pulls the ones too big lengthwise a bit to make them longer / skinnier. Maybe that will work on some sizes for you.
You can try, however you’ll have the underside still sticky since there’s glue there. I’d say it’s not the best way to extend length. Perhaps do nail extensions first, then the sticker. Or go with a press on nail with the length you like.
Thanks for the how to! I was looking for something on getting long nails and did cure the full length of the strip. Not strong enough to leave so I trimmed it down to my length. Very nice looking still.
@kbeautyhobbit I'll look into the dashing diva thanks! I've tried press on nails before. But I work as a server at a restaurant, and the hands on work makes me lose them in like a day. Maybe it's the brand I'm using not sure. But I'll check Dashing Diva. I haven't tried this brand before.
I use DD stickers a lot and love them. They recently launched this whole new system where you cure nail extensions on, basically. Or that’s what it looks like to me. I haven’t tried it because I cannot function with long nails.
@kbeautyhobbit I'll definitely check them out! Thank you. 😊 Super long nails wouldn't work for me either. I just really like a good length, and my natural nails break frequently. I wish I could afford to go to a nail bar more. But that gets expensive.
Wow. Good tutorial.thanks. I wondered why you didn’t save the cut offs for use in a French tip type of manicure, since these stickers are quite expensive. Maybe I’m just very frugal lol 😆.
Because it’s a lot of work and time. I am frugal as well, but at some point have to consider the trade off of time vs money and I can’t earn more time, if that makes sense. Plus I keep my mails quite short and French tip things don’t look that great. If you do end up doing something with the tips, please share how that goes. They can be used on toes too, I’d imagine.
I tried using the trimmings from my sister's set as tips on my own nails. They look ok but the gel nail actually thickens as it hardens creating a significant ridge between your nail and the "French tip." I smoothed it some with top coat, but it was still noticeable. Hope that helps.
You are very good at this! I am looking for one of your tutorials that also talked about a pen with a light and gel on the end of the pen that you can press on to the nail I cannot find it anywhere. Nor can I find the product on Amazon. I think you had a link to it.
I call it the squish light. This is the video you mean but I also showed it in the most recent polish pop tutorial: th-cam.com/video/BSYYEcvhx24/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WS5fyw3q70I4MEL5 This isn’t the exact listing I bought from but looks very very similar. The one I got isn’t currently active. Affiliate link: amzn.to/3WQGTg4 I honestly think they are all the same :)
What about using base before the sticker and builder gel before the top coat? Also, is there a reason you don't buff the natural nail as part of the preparation?
1. You can do that but I prefer not to. My stickers don’t last as long when I use a base first 2. Yup you can use builder gel before top coat. I do that sometimes and have a somewhat recent video on that. 3. It thins out the nails so they get more fragile as they grow out.
Well this video has given my the nudge I need to try these. I just use colorstreet but I want something more durable but I was hesitant. I'm definitely gonna buy the gelish and a lamp now. Thank you!!
They last two weeks for me but sometimes the cuticle end starts to snag hair around day 9-10. I prefer dashing diva gloss th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
Oh my goodness...lol. I'm glad I saw this video. I just discovered nail wraps and I assumed all were made alike. I put these things on and wore them without curing...for several days!! Surprised they stayed put
@KBeautyHobbit yes they felt rubbery..and a bit sticky..I know I sound ridiculous . I watched some videos on dashing divas and thought they were all the same..lol. live and learn I guess
Hey let that be the absolute worst thing that ever happens 😂 dashing diva makes one kind that also needs to be cured. But DD does a good job at putting instructions in English on the package. Not so much Ohora, especially not until they launched a USA website
Absolutely love these nails! Could you tell me how long these last? I have 3 little ones & so my hands are always busy busy busy - constantly washing and getting dirty 😂
Anyssa, usually about two weeks. However some people start to get hair snagging at the cuticle earlier. I honestly prefer dashing diva gloss strips - they never snag on me. I have two littles and also cloth diaper, so I hear you on the busy hands. Here’s the online shop bit.ly/30bDxoS And here’s a tutorial - th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
@@kbeautyhobbit dashing diva strips are too thin for me, all my nail ridges come through. I love the thickness of Ohora nails. Dashing diva makes semicured gel strips now tok, I still have to try them
For the strips or the top coat? Strips I put it for 60 seconds per round. For the top coat I use the instructions that come with the gel (the brands vary in terms of time). I have a more updated tutorial for these with more info th-cam.com/video/3Gy1Yqpa8qI/w-d-xo.html Also, someone asking ME how to be girly made me giggle. Nails is prob the only girly thing I do (and even that is basically unisex now) ❤️❤️❤️
If ohora only sells a top coat, then it’s likely formulated to be used without the base coat. So I would just use that by itself. Ohora doesn’t sell a base coat, right?
Yes it does! I actually have dashing diva videos too. I think in my first one I used leftover gel from other brands, but now I use gelish on all my strips.
I have trouble with many of the Dashing Diva not being wide enough. I end up wasting so many. I know you can stretch these, but how do the widths compare with DD out of the box? Very helpful video!
All these nail gel stickers are a game changer for me personally...love all the different looks and so easy to put on. I noticed you put the foundation on the top of the gel nail then the top coat. I always thought the base or foundation goes on the clean nail, then the nail strip cure after your are happy with the trim and shape then the top coat.
I got a couple sets from my neighborhood Buy Nothing Group, so I think the girl had them since covid, since they were meant to be a diy alternative to the salon....they are stiff and not flexible for me. the set I tried was navy blue and clear and the navy was more flexible after warming it up with my breath but still wasn't stretchy. The clear was not stretchy at all. it's not cold in my apt, in fact it was warm today. do you think they lose their flexibility over time? I've googled it but received no answers other than the website saying they don't expire, but I wonder if they do become less malleable. what do you think?
I still have some of my original 2020 order and they are totally fine. My guess would be they were stored improperly, most likely in excessive heat. I did have one set like that and it was delivered to me when the heat index was over 100F. It’s almost like it already cured, even though it wasn’t exposed to UV.
Thanks so much! I have a newer video and a special 20% off too! Link: ohora.com/collections/affiliate-june-2022 Code: LUCY50387 (affiliate) Application video: th-cam.com/video/3Gy1Yqpa8qI/w-d-xo.html
Do you recommend the Gelish over any other top coat and base coat? I have ibd top coat and base coat, would those work with your technique? Thank you for this wonderful tutorial!
I’m not super experienced with different brands, because the top / base coat last so long. My old bottles actually expired before I could use them up. I think any gel coat that is cured under a lamp will work. No need to buy something new if you already have some.
@@kbeautyhobbit Good to know. Thank you! I haven't used my gel coats for over a year... so perhaps they've expired as well. When do you know they've gone bad or expired?
My old ones would look and feel ok but then start peeling 1-2 days later. Just peeled off the nail stickers. A little googling told me that they are only meant to last about 18 months. I had mine for a few years 😳😳😳
I have seen people apply the strip with the plastic still on it. Is that supposed to protect your fingers from over exposure to the gel While applying? I developed a nasty blister on one of my fingers and I wasn’t sure it it was from overexposure as it didn’t appear to be an allergy
If I’m not filming, about 40 minutes. Maybe even less. But I usually take my time watching a show, it’s never a rushed process and I don’t specifically time it. When I first started years ago with different brands, it would take me an hour.
I don’t but those pads can rip. Someone suggested wrapping Saran Wrap on it. After months of use I have one little rip but it’s not affecting application in any way so I’m just ignoring it

Enjoy!!! And happy new year to you too.
Best ohora explanation on TH-cam, wow 👏
Thanks for watching ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for this review. I appreciate you showing us, how you "seal" the nails when finished. I used color street and it started coming up around the edges and wearing, jystcafter 3-4 day's. I didn't understand how people get them to last for 14 day's. I haven't had much luck with that.
Color street is polish and it will chip / rub off like polish. I prefer things that don’t chip (and that aren’t MLM). Glad you found the sealing demo helpful ❤️
Very detailed, tickles my OCD tendencies for a perfect manicure. Shared it with a few friends. Thanks!
So glad! Thanks for watching. Perhaps your OCD tendencies will like my other nails videos (I have a playlist).
This warms my perfectionist soul ❤️❤️
Much more confident after your video to try these. Thank you!
Great! Sometimes the first application doesn’t go super perfectly, but it gets really easy with time
I didn’t get the booklet when I ordered and I have had nails popping off left and right.
I’m so glad it was helpful ❤️
Thank you Lucy! Finally giving in and attempting home manicures and of course you have a video with all the answers! After years of your invaluable kbeauty recommendations and reviews I'm so pleased to use your nail videos 😊 xxx
Thank you Annabel. I hope your home manicure is a huge success. If it doesn’t go 100% perfectly the first time, don’t give up. There’s a bit of a learning curve with all of this.
Dashing diva just put out their version of these! I’m excited to try them.
Yes already ordered yesterday and they already shipped them 😅
Here my tutorial of the dashing diva version th-cam.com/video/0PAO1x0k5j4/w-d-xo.html
Why this video was posted on the Dashing Diva nail site I don’t know. This is an entirely different company based on the names on the boxes.
Which site?
These are totally different. Dashing diva does have its own version called Glaze, and the application is similar. But Ohora is a different company.
Excellent information. I’m going to try these nails. I’ve tried so many types of nails at home. Hopefully this type will be the one!
I have some nail rating videos if you want more info about how all brands stack up (in my subjective opinion)
Filing AFTER curing is such a genius tip ! Would've never thought of that
It makes all the difference. Because I tried filing before curing and it’s very time consuming and frustrating.
I bought some and got them in the mail yesterday and wanted a good tutorial on how to use them. After watching yours and going to watch someone else’s.. your video really is the best ! 😀 This video was so helpful and informative. I am excited to try it!
Aw thank you! I hope they work well for you and you love them ❤️
You have the best tutorial for these nails...so detailed...Thank You!🤙
Thank you! I find the official videos often try to make it easy by skipping very important small details
You have such a nice voice. You also seem really competent
Thank you! “Seem” sounds about right 🤣🤣🤣
Wow you did a great job! I watched other tutorials and they just don’t compare to what you did here. You have an amazing voice and sense of humor and charisma!
Thank you so much Robin ❤️ I’m glad you liked the video. I have a whole Nails playlist with other tutorials
Excellent instructions- thank you!
Thanks so much!! 🥰
Your tutorial me are really the BEST on TH-cam. So thorough and best tips for new users. I used your dashing diva tutorial and my nails lasted over 3 weeks!! Can’t wait to try ohora nails :)
Wohoo! So happy to hear that ❤️❤️❤️
Great tutorial video! The leftovers that are too big, i use for toes! UV protecting gloves are amazing! I didn’t think about that. 👍👍
Thanks for all the advice along the way! I don’t always use the gloves, but I feel like here the curing time is so much longer than my usual (with dashing diva), that I really need to pay attention.
You are right about the big ones for toes ❤️👌
So glad I watched this before I applied them. I ordered a bunch like you and want to make sure I get it right. This is the best tutorial. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the feedback! How many sets did you buy? :)
@@kbeautyhobbit I ordered 5 sets, the essential kit, which comes with the top coat and remover, and I got the lamp as the free gift.
Nice!!! I hope you love them, because that doesn’t sound cheap haha.
Beautiful! You’re so talented. Thank you for the review.
Aw thanks so much! Glad it’s helpful
Such a beautiful job!! Thank you for reviewing this brand!!♥️
Thank you so much
I never heard of Ohora nails before ? That’s new to me !
Although I must say they do look lovely and vry shiney 👍🏻👍🏻
Definitely shiny, yes. They went a bit viral in 2021
You deserve to be paid by the maker! Great job!
Thanks! I’ll just have to settle for TH-cam ad revenue for now haha. Although I’ve done a couple paid gigs with ohora since then 💗
finally someone who used a top coat after applying these ❤️
Do most people not use one? It looks so strange without :)
In some designs it’s less noticeable.
you should do more nail sticker application videos !! idk if it's just me but her videos are so satisfying!!! 😍
Aw thanks! I have a whole playlist you can check out.
Thnks so much 👍🏾
Yes, filing after curing is a game changer!
Thank you for this tutorial. My set did not come with any English instructions, so this video was incredibly helpful to me.
Unfortunate about instructions, but I’m glad you found the tutorial useful ❤️
Thank you! This was super helpful! I would have skipped a few steps and I see now what I did wrong when I tried the Dashing Diva ones.
Thanks for the feedback 🥰🥰🥰 I have other nail videos in the Nails playlist, including a more updated Ohora one ❤️
I loved this tutorial!!! Your voice and the way that every steps is done … REALLY GOOD!!!!!
Thank you so much Mary ❤️
Great tutorial I followed along and oh my gosh I wish I can send a screenshot of my nails, but thank you so much. I’m a press on girl. And sometimes I need a breather… I’m not really that great when it comes to just the regular nail polish method. And I don’t feel like spending money at a nail shop. I remember seeing this brand. But I’ve never seen someone give such a detailed tutorial appreciate you sharing these tips. You have now earned a subscriber.😂❤
So glad it went well! I have some more updates ohora tutorials in the Nails playlist too. Including the squish light trick ❤️
Such a great mani! Looks amazing!! Dedication on point! BOOM
Thank you so much ❤️
I just my mom's nails with the Ohora nails for the first time after watching this video and they came out so great!! Thank you, thank you so much!! You are awesome at explaining everything and making it so easy. Thank you for all the awesome tips, it was all so helpful! 😁❤
I’m so glad it worked well! And how nice of you to do your mom’s nails ❤️
@@kbeautyhobbit thank you 😊 she's always had acrylics for as long as I can remember, but with covid she hasn't been going to get them done. So I've been trying to find at-home options that she likes. I was horrible at poly gel lol but these turned out great, she loves them 😁
Awesome!! And probably better for the nail than the acrylic and all the grinding down that involves 🥰
Thank you so much for the tutorial! This is so detailed and helpful!
Thanks for the feedback! I’m so glad it was useful.
@@kbeautyhobbit before I watched this, I did it way too wrong, and all my nails are lifting up. After I watched this my nails are super good.
Awesome!! I hate spending time on nails if they aren’t going to last.
thanks for the tips!
Here’s a really good little tool I found that stopped all the hair snagging at the cuticle

I found your video today. I did my nails the way you did in the video and they look way better with a top coat! Here is to hoping they will last longer with the pear gel coat.
Glad it was helpful and also hoping they last ❤️❤️❤️
I love their nails!
A lot of the designs are beautiful.
KBeautyHobbit Thank you!!
Thorough, informative, loved!
Thank you so much!
This is THE BEST!! I truly appreciate your video!! ❤😊
Thanks! Definitely watch this other ohora trick th-cam.com/video/BSYYEcvhx24/w-d-xo.html
As a new person to doing this, This tutorial is going to help me and I am excited to see how they come out! Thank you!
I’m so glad it’s helpful! I have an updated version in the Nails playlist
Thank goodness for your video because I didn’t get an instruction booklet.
I’m glad it’s helpful ❤️
That capping technique of doing the free edge -first- blew my mind, lol
I wish I could take credit for it. I saw it years and years ago on TH-cam when I was trying to learn how to do shellac myself at home.

That’s so sweet! Thank you - I’m glad it’s helpful. I have lots more in my Nails playlist
Thank you very much for the links and the instructions
So glad it’s helpful
thank you for the tip on using the floss pick OMG it worked so well gel and stickers love my nails so its difficult to take off. Also this was first time i used the dashing diva glaze thank you blessings sent for mothers day :-)
Brenda, I’m so glad it was helpful! It’s my favorite way to remove it ❤️
Thank you for this, I just bought these and one fell off in 24 hours.
This is the best tutorial ever👏 I only want to know if I can leave these nail gels a bit longer than mine nails. Thank you
You can try, however you’ll have the underside still sticky since there’s glue there. I’d say it’s not the best way to extend length. Perhaps do nail extensions first, then the sticker. Or go with a press on nail with the length you like.
@@kbeautyhobbit thanks a lot!🙏😊
Very informative video. I’ve ordered some and will definitely use your tips. Thanks.
Please come back and let me know how they turned out ❤️
Thank you! I just received my first order and this explained everything so well!
I’m so glad! I hope you love them.
Thanks for the how to!
I was looking for something on getting long nails and did cure the full length of the strip.
Not strong enough to leave so I trimmed it down to my length. Very nice looking still.
If you want to extend the length, I would look into the dashing diva nail extend stuff or press on nails
@kbeautyhobbit
I'll look into the dashing diva thanks!
@kbeautyhobbit
I'll definitely check them out! Thank you. 😊
Super long nails wouldn't work for me either. I just really like a good length, and my natural nails break frequently.
I wish I could afford to go to a nail bar more. But that gets expensive.
かわいい〜💓

Sorry I don’t understand that :)
You did an amazing job. Thank you so much. I will try it.
Thank you, that’s so kind. I have newer versions of this video under my Nails playlist ❤️
Great tutorial! Thanks 🙏
Thanks for watching
This is the video you mean but I also showed it in the most recent polish pop tutorial: th-cam.com/video/BSYYEcvhx24/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WS5fyw3q70I4MEL5
This isn’t the exact listing I bought from but looks very very similar. The one I got isn’t currently active. Affiliate link: amzn.to/3WQGTg4 I honestly think they are all the same :)
This video was amazing!
Thank you
Great reviews! I just ordered them. Can’t wait to try!
I hope it goes smoothly for you and you love them ❤️
What about using base before the sticker and builder gel before the top coat? Also, is there a reason you don't buff the natural nail as part of the preparation?
1. You can do that but I prefer not to. My stickers don’t last as long when I use a base first
Thank you!!
Enjoy! Check out my dashing diva video too th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
This video was so helpful. I got Manime recently, but I rely need a refresher tutorial!💯🤣🧡💫
Please share how you like the manime. They seem cool and gimmicky all at the same time :)
@@kbeautyhobbit sure, once this papercut heals on my finger, I'll do them and let you know!
Thank you so much ❤️ and paper cuts are the worst. I have one between my fingers right now 😒😒😒
How long did they last for you? I have tried a couple times and haven’t had them last 2 weeks 😬 thankful I found this tutorial
They last two weeks for me but sometimes the cuticle end starts to snag hair around day 9-10. I prefer dashing diva gloss th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
Oh my goodness...lol. I'm glad I saw this video. I just discovered nail wraps and I assumed all were made alike. I put these things on and wore them without curing...for several days!! Surprised they stayed put
Im so curious how they did - did they dent a whole bunch? They are pretty soft without curing
@KBeautyHobbit thank u kindly. I'm loving ur channel btw
Aw thanks ❤️❤️❤️
Doing this today, thanks for the lesson!
Good luck! I have a couple brewed tutorials as well, with the squish light trick
Here’s the online shop bit.ly/30bDxoS
And here’s a tutorial - th-cam.com/video/--aayvvDcik/w-d-xo.html
@@kbeautyhobbit amazing! Thank you, I’ll definitely be checking these out
@@kbeautyhobbit dashing diva strips are too thin for me, all my nail ridges come through. I love the thickness of Ohora nails. Dashing diva makes semicured gel strips now tok, I still have to try them
Yes, that extra thickness can be nice. I’ve used the new DD glaze as well th-cam.com/video/0PAO1x0k5j4/w-d-xo.html
How long do you cure for each round? 20 seconds each? 30? I'm so new to being girly and I need major handholding. 😞
Thanks
For the strips or the top coat? Strips I put it for 60 seconds per round. For the top coat I use the instructions that come with the gel (the brands vary in terms of time). I have a more updated tutorial for these with more info th-cam.com/video/3Gy1Yqpa8qI/w-d-xo.html
Also, someone asking ME how to be girly made me giggle. Nails is prob the only girly thing I do (and even that is basically unisex now) ❤️❤️❤️
The best tips! TYSM
Thanks for the feedback
I only bought the top coat from Ohora. Do you think it’s ok if I buy a different brand base coat at the store and use them together?
If ohora only sells a top coat, then it’s likely formulated to be used without the base coat. So I would just use that by itself. Ohora doesn’t sell a base coat, right?
Question, does it works on dashing diva as well? Ph bond, foundation and top coat?
Yes it does! I actually have dashing diva videos too. I think in my first one I used leftover gel from other brands, but now I use gelish on all my strips.
I have trouble with many of the Dashing Diva not being wide enough. I end up wasting so many. I know you can stretch these, but how do the widths compare with DD out of the box? Very helpful video!
These have WAY wider ones. Someone I know with wider nail beds prefers ohora sizing to DD. They also offer more variety of sizes vs DD
Awesome video! Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching, Nicole
All these nail gel stickers are a game changer for me personally...love all the different looks and so easy to put on.
I noticed you put the foundation on the top of the gel nail then the top coat. I always thought the base or foundation goes on the clean nail, then the nail strip cure after your are happy with the trim and shape then the top coat.
Same!!! Even the ones that are just a plain color look so much better than my best effort to paint my nails
This was a fantastic video, thank you so much.
Thanks so much! I have a newer video and a special 20% off too!

Is that supposed to protect your fingers from over exposure to the gel
While applying? I developed a nasty blister on one of my fingers and I wasn’t sure it it was from overexposure as it didn’t appear to be an allergy
You’d have to ask the people applying it that way what their rationale is. That’s not the way I apply mine
Thank you! Very great video! How long for it normally take you to do these?
If I’m not filming, about 40 minutes. Maybe even less. But I usually take my time watching a show, it’s never a rushed process and I don’t specifically time it. When I first started years ago with different brands, it would take me an hour.
Great tutorial. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you for watching ❤️
Great video. Thanks!
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave feedback ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Do you prefer this over the Dashing Diva Glaze line?
No. I think glaze is better for my nail size and shape. You saw my comparison video, right? th-cam.com/video/BTuAkb9X61E/w-d-xo.html
Thank u for this, very helpful
So glad to hear 😍
Lucy. Do you have an issue with your squishlight? The silicone pad thingie that came with mine is getting damaged and I've only used it twice.
I don’t but those pads can rip. Someone suggested wrapping Saran Wrap on it. After months of use I have one little rip but it’s not affecting application in any way so I’m just ignoring it
