Great timesaver
Suggest a layer of 1/4” pad under the felt. Also suggest an electric or pneumatic stapler...not expensive.

I'd suggest using a circular saw and a straight edge to cit the straight pieces. And a quick belt sand to smooth out the edges of rhe plywood. That would make the edges look clearer. Especially on the felt.
Pool table next? Use all the pocket holes you want!

Prolly, but if it was smooth to the touch, from afar it actually stains dark to look like one of the other knots.

With the tools you used I think this turned out great. If you have a hair blower I advise to use it to warm the leather fabric before stapling. This reduces the effort to pull it smooth.

Electric bread knife is kick ass for cutting foam. Also be careful using plain green felt if y'all are gonna attempt this, it pills really bad

That poker table was made to stay in the garage. To let any kind of animal lay on it for a bed.
That fit and finish was just terrible. I wouldn't even pay $10 for it. Good thing the host was well put together....
Are there plans that can be printed out for this table and legs?
Stain straight out of the can? On your next pine project try a sanding sealer, then a latex paint cut in half with water. Then apply an acrylic sealer.
Really enjoyed watching. Was touching to see right at the end that you're a right-hander who deals left-handed - I'm not the only one after all.

Pretty good, id give B rating.. speed felt and cutting the strait cuts with a circular would yeild an A. Thats what i think.. BTW what is 5:59 the most replayed section of the video i watched it over and over and i see now...

Hi Amanda, not sure if you reply to your followers or not but was wondering if you have experience with concrete? I just bought a house and want to put an addition on (single car with a second story to extend existing bedrooms). Wondering about how to pre-prep for framing and how thick of a slab I need...
Did everyone see the filler marks at the 6:12 point. Stained right over the excess filler. No sanding! Shirt job!

i think a lot of youtube commenters give her shit for always using them.
Some hardcore woodworking enthusiasts prefer the mortise and tennon joint, and of course it would be a stronger joint the pocket hole is WAY QUICKER !!
Gonna have to get one of those pocket holer thinger doers !!

I like the pokher table build, simple and easy. But Damn she went nuts with the wood filler and stained right over the big patches and the jigsaw work was like a two year old trying to use a coloring book..... Stay on the line! ;)

These projects are getting seriously legit.
The reason for the hate on pocket holes is that they're garbage. Joinery allows you to build significantly stronger structures that are far more beautiful. Joinery is much stronger because it uses the woods natural strength. Any time you use screws, you tear and compress the wood fibres.

This was on my recommended list for some reason. Just kidding! I got here by putting “wood working in yoga pants and sports top to share carpentry skills as opposed to seeking attention with well considered filming angles for accentuation” in the search bar. THEN I had to conduct the search again only this time I added the word “woman”.
