NATO STANAG 4694 Rail
The nine slot Picatinny rail allows the user to upgrade his AK rifle with various aiming devices or accessories.
Adjustment Screws
Adjust the angle of the mount to align it with the point of bullet impact.
Shaped Contour
The design fits to the curve on the receiver cover and even allows to dissable the rifle without dismounting the AK RSM.
Emergency Sight
Even with an optical device mounted the sight can be used as a backup.
Compatibility: AK-47, AKM, RPK, AK-74 and all variants with the original Mauser-type adjustable rear sight
Installation: Dismount the existing rear sight and leaf spring. Put the AK RSM into the guidance on the rear sight base and align both holes. Punch the included roll pin into the bore so it is flush with both sides. Insert the big set screw on top into the middle thread on the rail and tighten it until the emergency sight aims to the point of impact. Finally insert both small set screws into the forward threads and tighten them stoutly. Warning: Torque for setscrew max. 3 NM
Best thing about this video is it doesnt have the long winded introductions, specifications and explanations about the weapons beforehand. Every other "how to" video seems to include the person explaining harping on about how they like their rifle or what mods they've added etc.

@@KKhhoorrnniittee Sergei it should not harm the springy if you do this correct and use cloth or it will scratch sight leaf. The spring is connected to rear sight block well for Kalashnikov rifles.
That was one wobbly sight. Ain’t gonna hit anything consistently with sights that move.

I saw this rail online how come nobody talks about it it seems really cool.
Bought it and already mounted it on my AK 74 ( easy even with not all the tools of the video) will test it soon on the range.
Is it holding zero?
I put it on my Arsenal AK74 and it's holding zero after several hundreeds of rounds. It's precise with the red dot as with the built in iron sight system

Use needle nose pliers to pull out the leaf spring.

No longer available, when will you get more? Almost $100 for this seems a little high imo. I'm a little nervous about the height of the optic will cause my cheek well to be way off. There are others options that let you co-witness and the cheek placement is the same as for the iron sights. What makes yours better?

We are currently (Jan 2016) re-producing new Rear Sight Mounts and they will be ready at the End of February. The specifications was to develop a lightweight mounting possibility for any standard AK with an included iron sight that can be used with the optics mounted. The instructors of our Special Forces work in countries which mostly use AK47 but they want to use their red dots as well without making too much modifications on the system itself.
We have tested it on a polish AKM recently which was equipped with our RSM, a Magpul Zhukov Stock (www.armamat.com/p/en/Zhukov-S-AK-Stock-AK47-AK74-Dark-Earth-Magpul/18483/1535/), a 0,25" cheek riser (www.armamat.com/p/en/AK-0.25-Inch-Cheek-Riser-Black-Magpul/18489/901/) and a Aimpoint Micro T-2 (www.armamat.com/p/en/Micro-T-2-2-MOA-Aimpoint/20004/810/) which was a great and comfortable combination to shoot with.
We are pretty proud of our product: It is made out of high grade aluminium with a Mil-8625-F type III, Class II anodising process for a robust finish and we produce the sight in-house and meet exactly the SOF needs as it was made for. Of course you are free to choose any AK accessory on the market which fits your personal demands.

Is the location of the rail practical ? Isn't the scope too far away from the eye ?
This will be best for a reflex sight or similar, in which case its position is fine, traditional scopes dont really mix well with AKs at all. I have one on a converted handguard, so even further down the gun and I like it a lot, it means you have plenty of room to also look around the scope to avoid tunnel vision and its out of the way of triggers/selectors

I think the same: I have another similar thing, but mini-screws dont hold up, even with loctite… (and then I am even talking about airsoft one, with blowback)

Can I put this on an air soft gun specifically a GHK RPK? I haven’t found any rail mounts that don’t require any drilling. This looks like a good option because it retains its the functionality of the iron sights with the added benefit of mounting an optic.

How the sight is adjusted to 100 meters without a test fire, if the 100 meter selection is there, it should be shown in the video.
