By Gahmidi definition, concubines can be only war captives. His (PBUH) other three WIVES, Safiya, Jaweria and Rihana were war captives and he MARRIED all three of them but Maria Qabtia which by definition was NOT a slave was not married to according to him. Because it didn't "abandon" slavery. There was a process that started. You don't just "abandon" something like slavery. It would be just like asking to abandon banking today. We know how abandoning slavery went for the UK and later on, for the US. Read its history. When UK made slavery illegal, other people were tricked into indentured labour to replace slaves. their children still live in the Caribbean (example: trinidad) and other former british colonies. And for the US.... well we know how that went. The hatred and the divide exists to this day. That is what happens when slavery is "abandoned"...

Those who did not understand the very logical explanation of this. Know Islam isn't a religion about fairy tales. It's historically true thus the abolishment of slavery was totally gradual and practical. So when you start comparing it to mythologies obviously it won't make sense to you.

Hazrat Bilal was emancipated before the year 622 and Hazrat Safia in 627/8. The later was a Jew lady who accepted Islam before her marriage with Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). I am not sure but I think Hazrat Maria Qubtiya was also freed when she became Muslim before her marriage with the Holy Prophet and joined the ranks of Umul Momineen.

Find me a book older than 150 years that criticized Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. marriage to Hazrat Aisha R.A. or Maria R.A. This is a very recent thing. 200 years ago they criticized him for giving daughters property rights knowing that daughters have nothing to do with the farmland that the father left, since they're married by the time they're 12-13 yr old. Darwin was labeled as a Muhammadian because he was so "progressive" just like early Muslim scientists. The criticism will change with time.

Ghamidi Sahab can get away with so many contradictions! Just because people are willing to believe anything he says. Maria was not a war prisoner, she was a GIFT. By Gahmidi definition, concubines can be only war captives. His (PBUH) other three WIVES, Safiya, Jaweria and Rihana were war captives and he MARRIED all three of them but Maria Qabtia which by definition was NOT a slave was not married to according to him. WHY?

This guy can not simply say islam abandoned slavery.
Because it didn't "abandon" slavery. There was a process that started. You don't just "abandon" something like slavery.
It would be just like asking to abandon banking today.
We know how abandoning slavery went for the UK and later on, for the US. Read its history. When UK made slavery illegal, other people were tricked into indentured labour to replace slaves. their children still live in the Caribbean (example: trinidad) and other former british colonies.
And for the US.... well we know how that went. The hatred and the divide exists to this day.
That is what happens when slavery is "abandoned"...
Yea this guy summed it up pretty well. Abandoning would be like creating two division among people, The descendants of the slaves and the descendants of the slave owner, much like the USA. So Islam made it gradual so that those slaves become part of the society. Indeed, the divine method is the most wise.

اتنی لمبی تقریر اور حضور ﷺ پر اتنی تنقید سے بہتر ہے کی آپ اس وقت کے سسٹم کو سمجھنے کی کوشش کرتے کے کسے حضور ﷺ نے اس سسٹم کو ٹھیک کیا صرف 23 سال کے قلیل وقت میں۔ ۔۔
جس عرب میں غلاموں کو اور عورتوں کو عزت بھی حاصل نہ تھی ان کو نہ صرف حقوق دیئے بل کے اس سسٹم کو آج بھی دنیا میں مانا جا رہا ہے ۔۔
شراب حرام ہے اس کا حکم قرآن میں ہے مگر اس طرح کے اور بھی بہت سی غلط کام موجود تھے تب عرب کے معاشرے میں جن کو ایک دم سے روکنا ممکن نہ تھا مگر آہستہ آہستہ اس پر عمل ہوا ہے . .
اب کہاں ہیں غلام اور اگر لوگ ملازم رکھے تب بھی زمانہ جاہلیت والے کام نہیں کیۓ جا سکتے۔ ۔۔مگر افسوس آپ کے ایمان کی کمزوری حضور ﷺ کی ذات پر نہیں بلکے اللّه کی کتاب پر ظاہر ہے۔ ۔۔۔
اللّه نے جس کو حلال کیا وہ حلال اور جس کو حرام کیا وہ حرام بس۔ ۔۔
حضور ﷺ نے تو اللّه کا پیغام ہی آگے پہچایا ہے ۔۔۔

اس کے علاوہ حضور ﷺ نے بھی بہت سی تکلیف برداشت کی کیوں کی حضور ﷺ کو بھی زمانہ جاہلیت کی وجہ سے بہت سے مسائل کا سامنا رہا مگر یہ وہی میرے حضور ﷺ ہیں کے جن کے دنیا سے جانے کے بعد بھی کیسو کسرا الٹ گئی کیوں کی ان کا فرمان تھا کے یہ ہوگا مگر درحقیقت یہ اللّه کا ہی فرمان تھا۔۔۔۔
دنیا میں ان کا دیا ہوا سسٹم آج بھی چل رہا ہے اگرچہ اب بھی بہت سی خرابیاں آئ ہیں ہمارے معاشرے میں مگر ویسے نہیں جو تب تھی ۔۔۔۔

اور آخر میں عرض ہے کے حضور ﷺ کی ہی نبوت کامیاب نبوت ہے جس کا دیا ہوا نظام آج بھی اس امت میں قائم ہے ورنہ ہر دور میں ہر نبی کی شریت اس وقت تک ہی رہتی تھی اور اس نبی کے دنیا سے جانے کے بعد بدل دی جاتی تھی مگر حضور ﷺ کی آنے اور دنیا سے جانے کے بعد بھی اس امت میں فرقے ضرور بنے ہیں مگر مذہبی تبدیلی کوئی نہیں آئ ۔۔۔اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰه
Find me a book older than 150 years that criticized Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. marriage to Hazrat Aisha R.A. or Maria R.A.
This is a very recent thing. 200 years ago they criticized him for giving daughters property rights knowing that daughters have nothing to do with the farmland that the father left, since they're married by the time they're 12-13 yr old. Darwin was labeled as a Muhammadian because he was so "progressive" just like early Muslim scientists. The criticism will change with time.

What is this? That means you can have sex with the slaves. Come on? Why is there something known as slavery? Why? Why should a woman has to sleep with his so called master? And is that not zina? Do these things not lead to contradiction? The above Maulana isn't answering the question, just twisting the things.
He is not answering probably cuz it’s a sensitive topic and Muslims are extremely insensitive they are not open to debate or suggestions for example there can only be two possibilities 1) the text has been altered just like bible and other books and 2) maybe it is what it is. But if we think it really does not make sense how come Allah who pressured on giving up worldly desires will say something like this, and the worst part why don’t many scholars say that it is wrong if they can talk about hijab can they not talk about this so men don’t start doing this again? it does not make sense. Are you a Muslim ?

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
Once Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) of `Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."
Prophet could have freed his slaves and could have given them some of his fortune at least forget the world
But he(PBUH) didn't have fortune to give them.
In fact he did free Hazrat Bilal through Hazrat Abu Bakr.

Secondly she was wife of the prophet Muhammad SAW. Check Mustadrak Hakim hadith 6819, Sahih Muslim 6494, Tarikh Tabri vol 9, Wives of prophet PBUH biography by Ibn Kathir, Al fauzul kabeer by shah waliullah, Ahad wal masani book and Robert Henry Charles research on her.
