Back then disabled people were thrown in asylums because their families didn’t want to take care of them, had to join circuses if they wanted to make money, or we just died because the medical technology wasn’t as advanced as it is now. We weren’t taken seriously and it was rare that someone back then wanted to marry anyone that was disabled physically or mentally. CERN isn’t just some random company, and they’ve let in documentary crews and journalists a plenty over the years. Not to mention countless scientists from different universities all around the world. They study physics there, no demon summoning. Unfortunately. CERN being government does make sense. To be fair to humongous Nicholas, I remember it is funded and run by a variety of countries' governments, so it's not entirely contradictory. It's still just a project, which looks cool though. The arc reactor also seems to take inspiration from it I'm pretty sure. It just looks cool and sci-fi is based on cool tech. I've met the British guy for a newer one, ITER. It's literally just trying to create a really cool power station, which only requires lithium and other much more common elements (relative to stuff like oil and plutonium). I've done research into it too. The main problems are size and getting it to output more energy than us input, but the potential, like other renewables, is pretty good.

Detached retinas don't look like that IRL and the only reason people think "blind" = "blue/cloudy white eyes" is because that's how it's often portrayed in movies and TV shows... because it looks kinda cool. So either the eye color is real (which would mean he ha a sudden acute onset cataract, which would be INCREDIBLY strange from a medical standpoint), or the eye is fake and he just made up some bullshit backstory for attention.

CERN isn’t just some random company, and they’ve let in documentary crews and journalists a plenty over the years. Not to mention countless scientists from different universities all around the world.
They study physics there, no demon summoning. Unfortunately.
I mean maybe one day we can get more answers to questions that we don’t even know to ask yet and maybe we’ll prove or disprove the existence of what we currently call supernatural creatures but for now we’re stuck studying the things that we have invented ways of studying.
It was pretty neat when they ran the Large Hadron Collider successfully for the first time, researchers and cameras watching and capturing them theorising and guessing what was most likely to happen-then none of the predictions happened and they were all talking about why might that be and they were so excited for the future of science with their new toy.
Oh and they’re also located in a neutral country for a reason, no repeats of “oh cool new technology Lets Make A Big Bomb” like please, keep science cool, don’t keep making stupid shit like weapons that are more likely to bring about the end of humanity than demons are. CERN being government does make sense. To be fair to humongous Nicholas, I remember it is funded and run by a variety of countries' governments, so it's not entirely contradictory. It's still just a project, which looks cool though. The arc reactor also seems to take inspiration from it I'm pretty sure. It just looks cool and sci-fi is based on cool tech.
I've met the British guy for a newer one, ITER. It's literally just trying to create a really cool power station, which only requires lithium and other much more common elements (relative to stuff like oil and plutonium). I've done research into it too. The main problems are size and getting it to output more energy than us input, but the potential, like other renewables, is pretty good.
I've gotta say, watching this video is so surreal for me... as a homeschool kid, vine and TH-cam vine comps were my biggest pastimes, and since I didn't really watch TV, one of my main ways of just, like interacting with the larger world. Of course, with how much I watched and how popular he was, Big Nik was part of that.
