Great video! Love the flag and Kobi. I believe dryer should always be replaced when ac evacuated. Don’t just change compressor! Might consider condenser as well but definitely dryer.
1. You didn’t recover the freon before removing the compressor. 2.you didn’t pull a vacuum before recharging the system after you installed the new compressor so it won’t cool to optimal level.
So did you drain the freon first? Then refilled after? I am in the process of replacing mine, currently waiting on the engine to cool down after driving to get the part.

I replaced the ac clutch on one of those, wish I would have just replaced the whole thing like you did. I ended having to use a grinder on it to get it to fit. Did cost me like 15 buck though lol

There is an AC fuse..(Under the power panel in the engine area ) .and I seen a video where the guy replaced the clutch form side access panel from passenger side behind the tire ..did you think it was just the compressor and not just the clutch ?

I have a 2012 Rogue that the Fan went out. I felt some cool air coming thru vent but there is no blowing air then when turned it to MAX AC it went warmer. I'm wondering what've caused the Fan to quit blowing ?

Old video, but I was watching this video and had the same thought about just replacing the clutch assembly. If you are getting 12V at compressor then clutch coil is bad. Amazon has clutch assembly for about $60 - $70. Seems coil failure is common on this generation of Nissan’s. No need to evacuate and recharge system using this approach.
@@tommymack8916 I didn't have to. Turns out the oscillating noise I was hearing was from a bad RCA cable! You do have to evacuate the AC though. I'd read up on that.
You need to check if the compressor clutch is engaging. If not, make sure you have the right amount of R134. If that's fine check relay and lost last resort is replacing compressor
I have a 2016 Nissan Rogue, AC also stopped working. I took it to get diagnosed and they said it would cost $2,100 to repair. The compressor and parts would cost $1,200 and labor $766. This is more than I anticipated spending. Is this a rip off or pretty accurate?

My A/C compressor went out today just past Barstow, CA made it to Baker, CA.
Oh dang, that's not a fun place for it to go out. Hopefully rolling the windows down helped as a temporary fix
