I drove a private client last week from San Diego and we talked about The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach. I said I love that venue! The Hives are playing there but it is sold out. I dropped him off at LAX for an international flight. 1 hr later he texted me saying. I spoke to the owners of The Belly Up! You have a ticket waiting for you at will call! My life has gotten better since I went private. I work 1/2 the amount of hours for more money and higher caliber pax.
Just make sure that you have the proper insurance he that is very important and check into any license issues in your state. It is a great thing. I would say that I have about 120 clients now summer every week and summer once a year if I could take a screenshot of my Square you would see I do a lot of even 20 and $30 private rides. I also would suggest get a payment processor like square they charge 3 to 5% but your clients are going to appreciate being able to use a credit card and get a receipt especially if they need to expense for work. Make sure when you’re trying to get private clients you tell them that you take credit cards this could be the difference on them calling you or not make sure you LLC a business name. This will give you some tax write off any more suggestions I can think about I will help you.

Good luck to you. It takes time dont get frustrated. I build a clients slowly. I give out cards to a lot of people and maybe only 1 out of 10 will call me as a personal driver. It takes time but my best recommendation is build a connection with them and get to know them and they will be repeat business

I just make same in Atlanta before two weeks after they cut the Lux and now I buy Audi A6 I open LLC in one week I will take all license and I will start alone,if I can have 5.0 Star for someone else like Uber and Lyft I can have for my car and service 10.00 starts but I know I work for me ... I sell my Audi Q5 with who I drive Lyft lux and make nice money and buy 2020 Audi A6 Black inside outside and work for me and some platform like Blakelane and drivania.... I lose little bit money with my Audi Q5 because I sell but I goo with the risk what I know will be positive for my life ... How left fast Uber and Lyft better for everyone.. in case one day everyone protests on the street and nobody accepts drive Uber in Lyft in 1 months will be lost billions of Billions $ and will be crash thet evil in the USA Uber and.lyft

@@AskTorsten yes the most important thing is to be insured FLORDIA it’s $300,000 combined commercial insurance I live in Palm Beach County and the licensing is very expensive. It’s $10,000 but you have to have a minimum of seven cars and then each airport is about $250 for the stickers, I actually just work under somebody else’s license right now so I will do a few trips for them and they pay me 70% and then I have the license. I am working on getting my own license hopefully in the next 4 to 5 months but it gets really expensive starting out that way but I just have a partner who we’re going to invest together I’m taking $200,000 out of my house which is paid off to start it right now I have a 22 suburban and a 22 model S plaid Tesla and a 22 Escalade but the problem with the Escalade is that it is not black I have it on the lease, so I’m going to get rid of it. Business cards are very important. I really went all out and got expensive ones and honestly I do a lot of lux black and Uber premier but I do it normally just to steal customers by handing out the business cards I probably get one and 10 or repeat call me I’m pretty new with this, so I’m just still trying to figure out how to charge ET see normally I will go in and look at the locks black SUV price and charge the customer, the exact same amount If you have any more questions, let me know.
Irshman it can be really frustrating. I would say I only get called Maybe one out of 10 times. because some people just don’t trust you and some people like the ease of Uber I have found since I got squared to take payments they love that much better because they can get a receipt and expense it out for business trips. That is really important to people so I would suggest that you get some sort of credit card payment processor that has your business name on it to send receipts and make sure you tell them that also make sure that you accept Venmo cash app and other forms because people just don’t wanna pay cash anymore and if they don’t know anything about you, they will assume that you only take cash and that will turn them off from calling you make sure your business cards are expensive looking. I went through Vista print and paid like 60 or $70 but it makes a difference. I’ve had many people tell me my cards look very professional and when you’re dealing with business people who spend a lot of money they will appreciate that but just don’t get frustrated brother even if you just get one or two clients, it makes a huge difference.
