    How long do I need to soak a 6 inch horse made of pin for in water?

      Generally an hour of soaking will do but for a larger carving such as this leave it for 3 or so and then have at it. Alternatively you can use green wood if you live in an area with trees and then you will have an easier time even without soaking.
