    Love the truck except those wheels and tire size config. Especially for a heavy duty truck you NEED TIRE WALL to help carry the extra load. But to each their own. It's a public forum so I posted my opinion.

      Thanks for your comment. As stated in the video, Mike and Sam have already ordered and are about to fit a more offroad centric wheel and tyre combo.

      @@mitsalloy I must have missed that part when I stepped away for a moment. I still respect people to configure their rig how they want to. But, I also maintain this was shared on a public forum with the invitation for comments.

      Nobody denies your right to comment and it’s very valid 👍🏼 We have changed to 37” Maxxis Razr AT on 20” rim. That setup was only on loan until ours arrived.

    If you were planning on going with an 8' tray, why not start with a LWB (8' bed) 2500HD (3500HD would be better for payload).

    Just curious would you do you do 6ft 6in (1982 mm) tray

    What size was the bed before you put the new tray on? Was it a 6.5ft or 8ft bed originally? Maybe it's better to ask what the wheel base is? I'm trying to see if I need to get a truck that already has an long wheel base or short wheel base to accommodate the 8ft tray.

      The cab to axle distance makes me think that it started life as a short bed.

    What type of roof rack is on the truck?

    What kind of payload is left after you put on 740 kg? Nice rig 👌

    • @mitsalloy
      @mitsalloy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Approx. 300kg, if leaving on a car license.

      This is registered NB2 Light Truck so leaves about 650kg PLUS gain payload from weight of tub removal

    So you need a step to access anything comfortably in a canopy? Seems like either these guys have to be NBA players or are gonna get sick of the height.
