I'm going to help my sister build a house this spring/summer. I'm going to be sleeping in my truck for a few months and have been looking into caps/toppers. There is one with a 4" rise that would give me more headroom but I don't really like the look of it. I don't know if I need the side windows to lift up but venting is a must. I like your bed frame, looks simple and light.
Cool, I know what you mean about the bump up on the roof. A week is about the most I do in mine. If you have a trailer or shed or somewhere on site to keep your stuff and you're just sleeping in it I don't think it matters but if you have to keep all your stuff in there every little bit helps! Good luck!
Hello Sir, are you still overlanding in this rig? what did you do with the rear cab camera? isn't the truck cap in the way? I have the same truck and I am curious if its still working out off road. Thanks a lot ! great video
Using a bike tire for the gap between the topper and the rear window seems to work pretty well, and because it's black it just blends right in. Not aware of anything very professional for this use
if you have any companies nearby that manufacture ambulances, check with them for the gasket they use between the cab and the box.
That's a good idea, probably a cut to size kind of thing for what I'm doing! Or maybe just buy an ambulance and use that!
if you go into your settings you can shut that beeping off

Gave you a sub from Upstate New York. I have same truck and same cap
Nice! It's a great truck and setup!

I actually traded it in on a Colorado. It does block the camera.

Yeah that seems to be the solution.
