When I try and boot it up by clicking install it disappears but then after then clicking ServerStart the same thing happened and the tab showed for half a second and then just left
I had a slight issue and joined his discord server. Within 20 minutes I was in a vc and got my issue fixed. This guy awesome. Keep up the good work and good luck

Watch my java error tutorial. It’s due to having the wrong Java version for this version of minecraft. Additionally if you have a virtual hard drive or a onedrive you will need to put it on a physical hard drive. (You can easily tell if it’s on a onedrive because the files will have green checkmarks on them.)
Probably ran it using the minecraft_server.jar which is vanilla. Delete the world folder and only use the serverstart.bat. If you’re having issues with it DM me on discord.

that is correct, then you run the startserver.bat. If the startserver crashes then watch my java error tutorial and start from 50 seconds, it's very short. You will need to edit the startserver exactly how I edit a "run" file in the tutorial.

Premium is not required, however I do recommend buying minecraft as viruses and such are very common with programs like tloader. If you wish to allow cracked accounts on the server you need to edit the file called server.properties, sometimes just called "server" and it's a properties type file. In there you will see "online-mode" and you will need to set that to false.

It typically closes fast. However you might have your files on “onedrive” which is a virtual hard drive. If you want to do it that way, I have a tutorial on how to use filezilla for file transfers however most server hosts have an option to select a mod pack so you can just select skyfact4. This tutorial is for hosting on your own system.

If anybody is having trouble getting install.bat to run, make sure you have the newest version on Java JRE (not jdk JRE), then in order to get the serverstart.bat to work, edit it in notepad, and copy the exact filepath to your java.exe executable for the newest JRE version (will be in program files-java-(version)-bin) instead of "java". Make sure the filepath is in quotation marks
didnt work it just made a world where 9 chunks were completely gone and there was a dirt block in the middle but there was no trace of any mod on the server

I have done these exact steps about 3 times now and im getting the same issue: it seems like when i run the instal.bat file it's not installing everything.. for instance i dont get a eula file. Also when i go to run the serverstart.bat file it will open up the command but then immediately close out. Any helpful tips you might have would be great lol
I did find a work around in the form of creating my own .bat file and keeping the arguments simple and that seemed to work out for me and I was able to play it with a friend without any lasting issues. Hope the other person finds out what the problem is.

Make sure you launch skyfactory from curse, not the regular launcher. Also check for updates.

when doing ip address should i put that ip that poped up or because that 25525 what ever number is it it gives me an error
25565 is the port. Your ipv4 is used in router settings and your public ip is how people outside of your home network join the server.

running a server will take up pc power since you have to load the world and players when it's running. performance will depend on how good your pc is.
