@@Vole008 Appreciate the feedback! I suppose I could always change the sensitivity to remove that. Typically it's not an issue with my tutorials. As far as $100 headsets go with mic's built in I think it sounds pretty good. I have had a few headsets and this one is by far my favorite. Although and actual mic with a pop filter would be best, just don't have the money for that haha.
I’d just like to say that I’ve followed probably five tutorials on this and this is the one that finally worked. It allowed me to both add dragon steel and add in a premade world so great tutorial.

@@Benji32809 not quite sure what your issue is but if you are refering to the server file that has those command options, he has Visual Studio Code, an IDE - tool for programmers to write the code in. its free, widely used, just search visual studio code and it will be 1st on the google.
FOR THOSE HAVING ISSUE WITH THE EULA NOT SHOWING UP: make sure you have the correct java downloaded, i had this issue and than realized i downloaded the java windows online make sure its the java windows OFFLINE 64 BIT after that delete your current server and minecraft server 1.12.2 file then go to forge installer and redo that step where you do install server etc. after that you should be able to run your .bat file and the eula will show up
For anyone who is struggling. Make sure you follow these directions verbatim. If you run into an issue where the run.bat file is not working, make sure you have the 64-bit version of Java installed or else it will not work properly. Also, make sure everything in the run.bat file is typed exactly how it was done in the video, minus the Java file path of course
Hey, so around 3:10 the download for the forge 1.12.2 installer goes to my default browser, which is fire fox. When i tried to open the installer, it directs me to firefox and says to save file. Nothing happens. I saw that your forge installer was downloaded with Java, how can i make it like you have it in the video.

Hey man at 3:07 when you tried to open your Java application, it just doesn’t work for me. I tried to find it in my files but it’s nowhere to be found so I can’t tell it where to go. I downloaded Java and it still just won’t work I have tried everything. And I just told it to open with the download and it asks me to allow changes every time and just says some error I don’t know what to do. Please tell me how to set up Java so when I open a .jar it goes to Java.

@@paroxy1119 if you're on Windows 11 I recommend you just abandon it all together. My assumption is that it's outdated. I recommend using a mod called Essential to play multiplayer. if you want I can teach you how to port it into RLcraft.
Restart your Minecraft. Also this is for people who actually bought Minecraft so if you never bought it then it won’t work. Well unless you edit the server properties file and set online-mode to false.
if anyone is having trouble with the forge server install not doing anything try maybe closing all your file windows, and if that does work then just add a new folder in the server pack folder, for some reason that made the forge file and minecraft_server file appear.

Yup! Once you can do one modpack you can do them all! Only reason I even make more than 1 modpack video is because it helps me reach people looking for different mods, but once you watch one of my videos technically the rest are useless to you LOL
Fantastic tutorial, this is the best one I could find. Especially with the java 8 link you provided, it worked like a charm. The only other method I found was to create an oracle account ... and give them all of my personal information including my address, zip code, and full name. (I understand this is for business purposes, but for regular people it's not entirely desirable. And seriously, it's a minecraft server so I'm not doing that.)
@Miningaway-dx3xl put pause in the start.bat folder at the bottom it will pause the cmd and give you a thing that tells you whats wrong copy paste into browser and search for the fix

@@oceanman4446 can be different for everyone. Usually the wrong version of java is installed, the run.bat has a mistake in the writing, or the files are on cloud storage instead of physical storage.

Everything is done and set, but my server appears offline despite everything being done correctly, right port forward, right IPV-4 , etc, the server is up only for me, but when i check its status on mc status or anywhere else, even for my friends, its offline, any help would be appreciated
The server status checkers are always 100% accurate. It is possible that you have something such as a third party antivirus program like mcafee that is still blocking it. If so you can create rules in mcafee to allow the port through it. If you just have windows defender it’s unlikely that that’s blocking it however you can still allow the ports through your normal firewall as well to be sure.
The state engine was in incorrect state CONSTRUCTING and forced into state SERVER_STOPPED. error that keesp occurs than server stops tis from just starting it

@@rKaiserP Sounds like you have a dynamic ip. You can find a tutorial on youtube for making you ip static so you don't need to keep port forwarding. Port forwarding is separate from the server so you don't need to remake the server.

Make sure you have java 8 and follow the steps carefully when creating the run.bat, don’t just copy exactly what mine says, I show you how to find it in the vid. DM me on discord for more help :)

Getting tons of errors where it says lots of mods require a certain version, but the mod is either not found on the client or the client has an outdated mod. What do I do? Is this a server issue or clientside issue?

That’s the point, it is intended to be that way. However you can use the console to op yourself and then use the tp command. Example: op decacrafter (in console) then in-game do: /tp DecaCrafter FriendName. Or in console just tp instead of opping. In console commands don’t use a “/“, that’s only for in-game

I guess I need better fishing 2.2.4? I tried joining the server after I created it and then it popped up server mod rejections with the aforementioned.
Your client, aka when you hit play in curseforge, needs the version changed. You can go to your modpacks, click on rlcraft, then click the 3 dots next to it and hit change version and set it to the latest.

Correct as long as it doesn’t conflict with any mods in the modpack and is also for the correct version of minecraft as most mods have a different download for many different versions of minecraft.
@@captainbobster4431 bro if I remember correctly the issue was Java path. So make sure you wrote correct Java path inside bat file. Also if you are using old java installation or online java installation just delete and reinstall the java that is the most space consuming. Mine was online installation which was like 50 mb. Get the offline java which has something like 200 300 mb

When you make the run documment, first save the run, then save as run.bat ( the run.txt should have the same text in it as run.bat )

starting the server stops at [15:11:20] [Server thread/INFO] [FML]: Unloading dimension 111 but it was working fine before setting up the port forward

I managed to fix it by checking word for word what he did for example I accidentally put jar-server not .server

You have to make a new text document and name it eula then in the document just put eula=true
Redo the steps before the run file could be in the wrong place or you could've typed in the run file incorrectly etc.

For anyone having the .BAT file not working, you HAVE to download the offline version of java so it shows up in program files, not program files x86

You can use direct connect or add server. Your friend has to port forward and give you their public ip.

You can type the word stop into the server console to save and close the server.

i dont know about the OP stuff but since you have access to the console you should be able to tp to each other through the console

the server folder you created is where it's saved. You can use hamachi or playit.gg/

Make sure you have java 8 and follow the steps carefully when creating the run.bat, don’t just copy exactly what mine says, I show you how to find it in the vid. DM me on discord for more help :)

Getting tons of errors where it says lots of mods require a certain version, but the mod is either not found on the client or the client has an outdated mod. What do I do? Is this a server issue or clientside issue?

That’s the point, it is intended to be that way. However you can use the console to op yourself and then use the tp command. Example: op decacrafter (in console) then in-game do: /tp DecaCrafter FriendName. Or in console just tp instead of opping. In console commands don’t use a “/“, that’s only for in-game

@@DecaCrafter Could you elaborate. I have the same issue and its not working. My forge 1.12.2 installer is just a .jar file but yours is a .executable jar file. How did it save as that type of file?

im struggling to get this to work, i followed all the steps, downloaded java etc, but when i click the run.bat the box just flickers a bit and nothing happens, i know its been awhile but if you have any ideas id appreciate it greatly
below the line in the run.bat file where it says like Xms and Xmx and all that add PAUSE and see if that works

@@palecrayon I ended up finding the solution if u still need it it’s because you downloaded the online or the 86 bit option you need the 64 offline one
I guess I need better fishing 2.2.4? I tried joining the server after I created it and then it popped up server mod rejections with the aforementioned.
Your client is running a slightly older version, in curseforge you can change version to the latest.

Your client, aka when you hit play in curseforge, needs the version changed. You can go to your modpacks, click on rlcraft, then click the 3 dots next to it and hit change version and set it to the latest.
Hi! Awesome video man i got it running and everythings working BUT now i wanna know... If i get another Pc how do i transfer all the server host maps to that computer?
if i was looking to add a mod say lootR would i just input that lootr mod file into the mods folder for both server and client side?
Correct as long as it doesn’t conflict with any mods in the modpack and is also for the correct version of minecraft as most mods have a different download for many different versions of minecraft.

@@captainbobster4431 bro if I remember correctly the issue was Java path. So make sure you wrote correct Java path inside bat file. Also if you are using old java installation or online java installation just delete and reinstall the java that is the most space consuming. Mine was online installation which was like 50 mb. Get the offline java which has something like 200 300 mb

That's because you have winrar and use it for opening zip files, I use 7zip which is free and much better than winrar.
