its a little easier to get to the controls :) And the internal uppermids boost/cut trimmer that is now a control knob up top is the game changer to me for its interactiveness w tone and gain. I should have done this yrs ago. In the same breath if you have one of the handwired tag board built Ubangi Stomps, DONT sell it. That was so labor intensive back in the day, and it was a team effort w my son etching the tag boards, populating the boards w all the curated components, soldering them etc. He was a high school kid doing this stuff. I guess Im being too sentimental ha! :)
@@beerbilly Thank you for sharing that sentiment! This one was built 8/18 on a PCB so I don't think it is tag board ... but I am still extremely honored to have it and no way am I ever gonna sell it!! Cheers!
