Knights Out is an organization of West Point alumni, staff and faculty who support the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people to serve openly in the U.S. military and who wish to educate young officers about the issues and contributions of LGBT troops. - This is America in the 21st century. We don't discriminate against fellow cadets, or Americans based on sexual orientation. Those who do so are weak, unfit for service, and have no place in representing the values of this great experiment in democracy we call the United States of America.

Ignore what @Jimbonius Maximus said. Those who do discriminate others doesn't mean if they are weak or not. They just are unfit for the Army. A gay cadet lives a normal social life as any other person. As long as he possesses the values, core competencies, and attributes of the Army, the cadet is a competent leader.
