The barbie aesthetic is iconic and basically defined campy femininity but the rest of the friends are kinda... generic in fashion (besides Raquelle, I love the gaudy rebel style she has). I think you pulled it off though, I like the idea of keeping big buttons and zippers!
Raquelle is to Barbie what Squidward is to SpongeBob : - As a kid you dislike them and see them as the antagonist. - As an adult you think they are the most relatable characters of the entire show.

Haha I think some silhouettes and shapes could work if Barbie would an adult haha there’s a few crop tops and high waisted skirts, which I kinda like, but the collection overall looks so “artificial”, like “oh yeah, let’s make some clothes that could looks like plastic material” some of them really looks like a plastic texture or something like that. This collection really makes me think that they just wanted to transform models or women in plastic dolls, and not…bring the Barbies universe to real life
yeah I think that it could've been a lot more chic! like all of those Moto jacket looks are not really barbie personality wise, she's more Malibu but make it classic, so 90's Chanel is what comes to mind, which maybe isn't great for Moschino, but they could've gotten inspired by the 60s silhouettes, as a nod to the original dolls (the first one was released in 1959)
