- Monster High is an iconic and beloved fashion doll line with a bunch of supplemental media such as a web series, movies, books, comics, and the one I'll be talking about in this video-video games! In this video I play all of the Monster High flash games, and the games that were released for consoles: Ghoul Spirit, Skultimate Roller Maze, 13 Wishes, and New Ghoul in School! I cover the mechanics and story of each game so you can get a good understanding of them! I hope you enjoy!

fun facts that arent in the video just cause i wanna share :>>
Flash game/ website fun facts
- as far as i can tell, froggy dash levels dont really increase in difficulty after the 6th level
- in cram fest its not mr verizhe, but mr where (monster high has done this before where they have a similar chracter with a different game and mess up on naming them, like they have with the guidance counselor mr death / g. reaper)
- in casket ball queen cleo performs different moves depending on the type of medal you hit and how many stars you score
- maybe just the numuki play, but hackington doesnt accept reverse parking in drivers dread
- whose that ghoul has screenshots from the webisodes as well
- in the earlier days of the webiste there were also games monster mail and create a monster. later in g1s run, the games bewitched by the beat and electrified photo booth were added. i remember a student id maker (i think you uploaded a picture and edited around) and some other games being there possibly around 2013 but i dont remember. also when g2 rolled around and they changed the website again, these was a minis game (to advertise the monster minis that were sold in blindbags)
- monster mail is a very simple scrap book sticker journal collage scrap book style editor
- in create a monster, you create your monster oc headshot (with options for face shape, skin color, eyes, hair, accessories, makeup and clothes) and write a name and short bio
- bewitched by the beat is a music mixing game (imo very fun) where you can play around with seperated instruments in a song. the songs you can choose from are freaky fusion, witching hour and we are monster high.
- electrified photo booth has the same ridiculous advertisement feel to it that the great scarrier reef game has. you choose a character picture (start off with frankie and unlock more) and sticker accessories on them.
3D games
- ghoul spirit released in 2011 around november and is the only game of the 4 to include a map of the school. also works as a promo for the wave 2 and dawn of the dance lines.
- skulltimate roller maze took a long time ro release, from early november 2012 to late march 2013.
- 13 wishes released in 2013 again around november. the building and character assets have been posted by one of the game developers. in the detention hall, scribbles on the board make a mapping of ghoulia, slomo and don, referencing ghoulias love struggle between the two thats been shown in the webisode The Bermuda Love Triangle and movie Why do ghouls fall in love.
- new ghoul in school released in october and november 2015. the music was produced by Erik Schaffer.
Other games
- not only is the mobile g2 monster high game still available, it get updated very regularly lmaoo
- about three days after this video got uploaded, a g3 official game got anounced! being made by the same company that made the new bratz and rainbow high games, so expect someting like that quality wise. only thing we know so far is the name, skulltimate secrets.

I will never understand why they decided to give everyone ponytails in 13 wishes
I can't remember where, but I think I read that it was to make it easier for them to have animated hair, which makes sense because the budget was probably super low for the game.
Good long hair physics in games are actually really uncommon. It's alot simpler to give a ponytail or braid decent physics than it is long hair.
Mortal Kombat 2011 is a great example: Sonya and Jade have ponytails, and their hair is less stiff than Kitana and Sindel's who have their hair down.
In alot of older games especially, the hair was super stiff even if it was down, so I reckon they all had ponytails so they could have some hair physics without having to put in a ton of resources.
Just about the only game I can think of with really good hair physics is Alice Madness Returns.
I was just about to praise the 13 Wishes game for swapping characters to deal with the water terrain because Frankie canonically can’t swim, but then I burst out laughing seeing Cleo just straight up teleport lmao
But it’s probably through the use of an amulet since her family owns 10,000 artefacts, chances are one of them teleports you.

Omg monster high DEFINETLy had the best flash games for doll series, I can’t even start ti describe how much the fearlearing and casketball games changed my brain chemistry 😭 the games along with the general FANTASTIC website atmosphere building were such indescribably incredible gems

Pretty sure i played new ghoul in school off my sister's game since she kept telling me to help her. The game is fun to speed through

13 wishes made me have headaches when I was younger XD I remember having hard times finishing all the stages.
OMG the Ghoul Spirit game! Childhood memory unlocked. I had that on the DS and I used to play it over and over as a kid, I just kept making new characters. I can report that it is possible to win Scream Queen in the DS version.
In Skulltimate Rollermaze that "spin move" that the characters do is an attack for the people behind you so if you're in first place you can do that and knock the person behind you out of second if they're getting too close there's also a back camera you can press to see if your attack landed

When I was younger, I had a DSi and a Wii. I remember playing Ghoul Spirit as a kid, and I never learned about New Ghoul in School. I feel robbed 😭

In my humble opinion: it wasn't for the orientalism, 13 Wishes could've been on-par with Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows(2005)

I LOVED catacomb adventures, especially the Lagoona one as a kid. The ghoul spirit for Wii thing frustrated me SO much as a kid. I replayed THREE times trying different online recommendations (I got upset so my mom looked up guides to see how to fill the ghoul meter all the way). My parents and I loved the roller skating game tho and played together a lot since it was basically Mario kart with slightly different gimmicks.

DUDE I REMEMBER THAT 13 WISHES GAME, WHEN I WAS LIKE REALLY YOUNG, I ACCIDENTALLY SOFT LOCKED MYSELF SINCE I DID IT IN THE WRONG ORDER AND IT WOULD NOT LET ME RESTART THE GAME SO I JUST COULDN'T PLAY IT
The card matching game was my everything when i was a kid.
My special interest since I was 8 in 2010 has been Monster High and most of the Flash Games were actually based on the plots of the webisodes instead of anything from the 3D animated movies (G1) which might be why they were more random to you, assuming you haven’t seen or known about the Webisodes as much. They’re all still up on Monster High’s youtube channel but they were all uploaded from 2010~2015 in case you were interested. The webisodes also used to have a dedicated page on the old monster high website which is where a lot of kids watched them originally-even though now that I’m older I know it was just thir TH-cam videos embedded onto their website lol
I have been watching the webisodes since playing all the games and it was cool recognizing some of the plots!

Honestly the only reason I'd personally get Ghoul Spirit for my DS is because for some unexplained reason I really like Mr. Where (despite him barely ever doing anything in the entire franchise) and I try to find as much content of him as I can find

watching you play the flash games unlocked SO MANY memories- the monster high flash games i could play for HOURSSS and then when i got a DS i would play the monster high games on it, i had them all 100% lol
In Ghoul Spirit you need to do several episodes at the same time to complete it.
In my playthrough I did start multiple episodes at once, but the ghoul meter can never be filled no matter what order you do the episodes in it seems!
oh man, i remember playing New Ghoul in School on my dads Laptop! it was so addicting, I played it almost everyday until I finished the story. Later on I wanted to play it on my PC, but it wasn't available on Steam anymore so I had to download it off some sketchy website that got me virus xDD at least now I have a 3DS I can play it on instead haha
I LOVE YOU WITH MY WHOLE SOUL, when I was a little bit younger, and when my dear grandama was still here, in her tv (modern), she would watch with me videos from youtube of the New Ghoul in School game, while I was doing a littlke dough with smashed soda cookies and water (it was and is still yummy ok?), and actually finally knowing the games name (as a kid I wanted to play it for some reason), now i'll go buy some soda cookies packages and watch the same videos I watched, since it was like a serie, even tho I won't be able to watch it with my grandma, i'll always think she will be with me while watching that.., oh!, same with 13 wishes game but I would play that with my older cousin

It's even funnier when you've played P4 and since Whisp is a shadow, it's even more ironic with Howleen being the one we have to save.
for the non persona fans to understand: shadows in the persona games are the enemies, and in P4/P5 once you're done with a dungeon/palace you have to fight the shadow version of the ruler/owner and in this case we fight Whisp who is of course a shadow

13 wishes is my favorite game. Maybe it's the nostalgia, but I really love it. I also love the oriental vibes and also the original sound tracks :)
The nostaglia I got from this video is INSANE, I used to love ghoul spirit on my wii as a kid, however I'll say seeing it now it definitely did not look as cool as I remembered LOL

OMG i played every single game except the last one.. i played mine on my DS and it’s incredible how the designs are so different ! i mean, 13wishes is a whole different game.. i recognize the rooms etc but still it is so different.. and it’s not my memory because i played like 3months ago to attempt and finish the game (spoiler i didn’t the objectives are super hard) and ghouls spirit has different missions and graphics too (and i finished the game 5times..)

I have “new ghoul in school” on my old 3DS, and I love it, I’ve replayed it so many times and there’s a couple secrets you can find to get the collectibles. I’ve finished the story multiple times but I always fail to get all the collectibles, which is what I always try to do. Unfortunately, I think some collectibles are in the vending machines, and after the student council fixes everything, I don’t think you can get them again 😭
I was able to get all of the collectibles in my playthrough, you don't need the vending machines but you do have to unlock all of the lockers! it can be hard to find some of the codes, I ended up using a guide personally!

It would be love if there was a Runescape/multi-player rpg monster high game where we can create our own character & have a HOUSE alongside having a main storyline quests or side quests that tells us some Lore of the monster high universe!!!😊❤😊

I owned new ghoul in school and i really enjoyed it! it was fun making my own monster and getting to explore the school and attend all these different clubs. the story wasn't too bad either and feels like something that would actually happen in the show itself.
Edit: I also owned Ghoul Spirit and I still remember being so mad that I didn't even win cause I tried so hard! XD

I’ve played new ghoul in school 2 times now and both times I’ve completed the story and found all the locker codes and spirit spiders and I’m stuck at 96% or 97%, i think you can’t get 100% until you have all the clothes but that’s just my theory

Sorry if this has already been said about Rollermaze. The 3DS version is someways better with 2 more tracks and some more polish, and the multiplayer mode in Wii isn't the vs you expect. but rather tag team. I actually speedrun the game, and didn't know what Robeeca's super is, I'll have to look into that.
Update: Robecca leaves a stationary cloud of steam that when entered obscures you vision blooper style, which is so weird cause steam traps on stages usually cause slipping. The smoke screen cover is unique to her ability.

I had 3 of the console games because i had a regular ds and that only had 3. I had ghoul spirit, the roller maze game and 13 wishes.
I think I played Ghoul Spirit on DS? I remember playing a DS game of MH, so it was probably this one. And I remember the ending, where you're supposed to win the popularity contest or whatever.
When I saw flash games I IMMEDIATELY CLICKED my fav was the catacombs rollerskating one

In the DS version of Monster High Ghoul Spirit, I noticed that Cleo would always win if I played her episode last. To work around this, I started playing her episode first. At first, I thought it was just me, but then my sister played the game and that always happened to her too reminds me.

I have Ghoul Spirit and I did play it as a kid, though I distinctly remember somehow getting stuck because I might've been confused on a puzzle or hint on where to go. I never could complete the game and was VERY frustrated I couldn't figure out what to do
