amazing footage.. the zr2 definitely looks more at home on the trails.. also rides amazing on paved roads. I have the At4x and can't wait to take her out on one of these trips.. thanks for sharing.
Off-road King! Keep going on the ZR2 build. Talk brother Mike into doing ZR2 bison giveaway and include a Roush Creek trip with RFRacing to put it through its paces.
I've driven Engineer Pass in 4WD's numerous times in everything from a full-size Chevrolet 4WD pickup to a stock Ford Bronco II. I also drove it once in the middle of the night (long story). Vehicle size is the big killer on this trail. That is why full-size trucks have real problems with parts of it. They are just too wide and sometimes don't have a choice of what line to drive. As for difficulty, I rate it at about a 6, with 10 being almost impassable. I drove 4WD trails in Colorado's San Juan Mountains for a few years as part of my work. The tough part was driving some of those trails with a loaded extended cab HD 4WD pickup. For the record, I have 5 decades of 4WD experience. There is no substitute for experience on the really rough Colorado trails.
Man awesome truck !! I’ll say I’m a new fan and new owner of a Chevy. I am not a fanboy of any certain manufacturer. I’ve had Ram. I had a 2020 Tacoma TRD off road. Currently own a 2007 fj cruiser with a good build. And recently just picked up a 24 Chevy Silverado trail boss with the Duramax about 4 months ago and man I absolutely love it. Things a beast !
I wish i had views like that on the peaks when i was just there. All three mountains we went up, pikes peak, blue sky and one in winter park, it was stormy and barely any visibility
I think Bobby must have hit up one of the Dispensaries in Colorado, Nowhere in this video did I see a ZR2 DOMINATE a TRD PRO! My wife’s my wife’s bone stock 22 Jeep Grand Cherokee would handle everything I saw in this video!
I went from a '21 TRD OR 4x4 Tacoma to a '24 ZR2 last Saturday. I had to pop the engine fusebox and press every single fuse and relay in 1/4" and take a few screws out of each front fender well to seat the fender flares. Apparently their build quality is ass. I do love driving it and it feels like driving a mini monster truck. I bought the '24 ZR2 because it looks like what I wish the Tacoma did.
OFF-ROAD KING! Your boy is nuts with his TRX B.S… 4Runner whaaaaaa????? You own the king bud, why mess with the swill floating around? Do Yodas run forever? Yes… but the new one blew up on TRL first time out on an icy rock. Just because they are the boss of the 80’s to early 00’s doesn’t mean it is the same now. I would take a free ZR2 over a free Trail Hunter even with the difference of $20-30k in a hot minute!
I originally wanted the Silverado trail boss since I had an 01 Silverado years ago, but down here in the SE, the trails are pretty narrow, so I think I’m gonna get a 24 Colorado ZR2 instead, just gotta save up the money 😬
Zr2 looks nice but they are definitely stoppable it’s a Chevy they are not reliable at all but a Tacoma can come help you out when you need a tow off the mountain! We have had 2 Chevy Colorado’s break down trying to keep up on trail runs with us in Colorado.
@ lol I beg to differ my friend! Not only will a Toyota outlast all those junk brands combined, they are beasts off-road! I have personally rescued jeeps, fords, chevys, and gmcs off the mountain when those junk boxes broke down or got stuck. We went on a group run with all Toyotas and the only vehicle that struggled and got stuck was the one jeep that tagged along. I know jeep people have a god complex thinking that jeep is the only and best off-road vehicle out there but fact of the matter is yes they are good but in order to be an amazing off road vehicle you kind of need to be reliable, if you can’t get off the mountain then it doesn’t matter how far you get up. Toyota is far superior in reliability and durability, sure it may not have all the features a jeep does but it does pretty damn good without the need for all the overkill features a jeep comes with.
#offroad king… if you choose to stay with the ZR2 the only mods I could think of is another wrap to protect the paint, a snorkel, a overhead light bar and maybe a wench. I know Ford Ranger would be sick but I know you don’t like ford too much.
Only insecure guys have to own a dodge trx. Bet it would not be able yo go on most of our appalaxhian.mountsin forestry roads. It is too damn wide. My Colorado zr2 is almost too wide. I got some lovely mountain laurel pinstripes this past Saturday riding on Bumpus cove mountain forestry road.

Offroad king! continue the ZR2 build, love this truck!
Continue the ZR2 build!
Continue the ZR2 build! The most interesting path in life is the road less traveled.

Loving the offroad stuff Bobby! Keep it up
The TRX reminds me of Austin Powers turning around in the hallway! 😂

Continue the ZR2 build. That thing is a beast. Can't wait till I can get me one.
Continue the ZR2 build ❤️off road king!! More ZR2 content is very welcomed!!
Had last gen zr2 diesel and traded that in for a Jeep Gladiator and that thing continues to impress me.
Beautiful scenery. Miss living back in Colorado.
Thank you for taking us along for the ride.
Watching this video reminded me of the “honey badger don’t care”video. That ZR2 is a honey badger!😂❤

Continue the zr2 build you'll be disappointed with a 4 runner and you need to come to indiana and go to badlands offroad park in attica indiana
I wish i had views like that on the peaks when i was just there. All three mountains we went up, pikes peak, blue sky and one in winter park, it was stormy and barely any visibility
Keep going with the ZR2, it's the offroad king!
offroad king!
Nice video! I did those trails with my Jeep Renegade two years ago, it killed it! Great trails anywhere you go.

ZR2 is such a great truck … definitely my favorite out of these three. I do like me a Ford Raptor as well. 🤘🏻
Very capable truck! Scenery was awesome
Colorado ZR2 is a great looking and driving truck. I wish we had it in Europe.
Off-road king!
Off Road! Congrats on life Bobby
I love your confidence about the zr2 I am that way about mine . that was a great video
off road king
I think the ZR2 is a super capable beautiful truck. I would like to know what size tires you've got on it

I like the ZR2s but my stock F150 FX4 did that trail with just 33 inch tires.
ZR2 looks like a great truck might trade in my 2023 Tacoma off road for this
Offroad King
Hey, what digital rearview mirror do you use?
Love this truck a nd color❤
best truck on the trail
Did ya miss poghkeepsie gulch? Should give it a try.
The more of your videos I watch the more I like the ZR2 and the color you chose. You could do professional videos for Chevrolet.
Got a link to that rearview mirror camera ?
Stay with the ZR2
When you did this trail, are there any modifications to the vehicle or is it stock?
I’m so torn between a Frontier Pro 4x and the Colorado ZR2
What air pressure are you running?
Keep the ZR2 and build it !!!
Man, I had so wide smile on my face while watching the vid. I may be a bit high, but nonetheless...
I have the Silverado ZR2......the ZR2 is an off-road King 👑 Im 6'2" and just cant fit comfortable in the midsize trucks
I originally wanted the Silverado trail boss since I had an 01 Silverado years ago, but down here in the SE, the trails are pretty narrow, so I think I’m gonna get a 24 Colorado ZR2 instead, just gotta save up the money 😬
Is the trx in low range?
This is bad ass

Toyota’s cannot keep up with Jeep’s, Chevys and Fords!!! Toyota’s are the worst off road vehicles!

KEEP BUILDING
Zr2 banging it out… Taco doing what it does…Trx looks a bit challenged, but still capable!
Zr2 nice but 4Runner is good too
oh continue the zr2 build
My wife said your eyebrows are too far apart 😅😂
My Mazda CX-5 could make it!
I am late... size ans color make thr zr2 the ofdroad king!
Taylor Lisa Garcia Anna Lopez Mary
my toyota prius could have done this
Keep with the ZR2. Toyota content is oversaturated. Do a "Build a better Bison" series.
Stick with the zr2 you'll regret changing to a yota
Only insecure guys have to own a dodge trx. Bet it would not be able yo go on most of our appalaxhian.mountsin forestry roads. It is too damn wide.
My Colorado zr2 is almost too wide. I got some lovely mountain laurel pinstripes this past Saturday riding on Bumpus cove mountain forestry road.
ORK
Jackson David Walker Paul Lee Mary
Yea but it’s a Chevy ehhh
please dont do any stupid mods to the zr2
Define stupid
Taylor Michelle Smith Deborah Hall Cynthia
All good until you have a warranty issue and discover Chevy will not honor anything, Buyer beware
I've been driving Chevrolet for 20 yrs and never had a warranty issue. And I don't know anybody who has.
Ranger Raptor is better.
Gm junk
Off road king!
