Finally, someone who shows how to do the regular wiring! Heavenly Father, bless this man! I’ve seen so many videos of wiring solar panels to batteries but have been having a hard time finding a good tutorial for where the power meets the appliance. Thank you!!
I am very sorry for the loss of your father. I pray that you, and your family are doing well. I can only imagine that he was extremely proud of you! You are a very talented person, and I enjoy watching your builds. Awesome job!
Your channel is by far my favourite of all camper van builders dude. Just a pleasure to watch, not just for your awesome insight but also to observe the sheer level of quality in the work you produce. Really really impressive. Much respect to you.
I've always had trouble with electrical stuff because I thought it was complicated but you just made it look so easy. I now have the confidence and know how to tackle this on my own! Thank you!
I've been watching RV videos for a few yrs now and have often wondered about wiring to one of these batteries. Seems REALLY simple now that you've shown how its done, I almost feel pretty silly for not grasping it in the 1st place. A big thank you for this video! keep em coming!
You are excellent at explaining things in a way that I feel I could actually replicate this and not mess it up or get too frustrated but it's interesting enough and right to the point so my Adhd brain hasn't wandered off yet. Thank you
Dude I love that you show in depth how to do everything. I work in a mechanic shop and it’s so refreshing to see someone teaching and and not gate keeping. Keep it up man I love your stuff!
Keep up the good work bro in a couple yrs you'll have your own fully functioning company. Keep getting that bred. Also I have been watching you for 3-4yrs now. Take care 🫡
Hey, DualEx. So sorry to hear about your Dad, much respect to you and your family. Listen, after watching your video, I feel like I'm in my old computer classes from years ago. Please, by all means, continue with this. Take care. ✌🏽
So happy I found you and your channel again! I saw you on TH-cam when you first started out and hadn't subscribed right away, and then lost you and couldn't find you....until today! Subscribed immediately. Love all your builds/information/skills-for-days. Thanks for all your hard work. Very sorry for the loss of your Dad. Praying for comfort and peace for you and your family.
I appreciate your teacher’s mindset trying to spread knowledge and love. I didn’t need the knowledge this time, but I appreciate you no less my brother.
Hello! Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I have a Bluetti AC500 system with two batteries that I bought to use in my skoolie build. We currently use it in winter to run our pellet stove during power outages in our house, but I want to be able to move the system to the bus when I go on the road. I have been thinking of wiring the bus without the ‘brains’ of the power system as a permanent part of the build but I only had a vague sense of what to do. This video is LITERALLY the missing link I needed. I really enjoy the creative thinking you bring to your videos. Thank you again, this is just what I needed!
I’m a 47 year old mom who does a lot of misc. tasks around house and this video popped up and checked it out. Wow God blessed u with so many gifts including a platform to be a witness thru! Also sorry to hear of ur loss.
Very detailed video, great job! FYI, the 10A cigarette port may be inadequate to handle the entire load of a van. Bluetti, EcoFlow, and Goal Zero have models with high output (30A) DC ports that use a more secure connection (Anderson or Aviation).
Man, you are so talented and gifted that this doesn't make any sense. You do awesome work. I am truly jealous. God bless you and keep doing your thing.
I love this, because while I understand the basics of "home wiring", this helped to understand that little bit that I wasn't quite wrapping my head around. Thanks!
Thank you. I always wanted to know how to wire electricity. You make it so simple although I will watch your video a few more times just to do it right. You're amazing. By the way very clean hands and fingernails. Great instructor.
You really need to add rubber circular grommets in your roof cable holes to protect from chafing and electrical shorts/fires.. Like other vehicles, these should be added anytime you pass live wires through sheet metal or bulkheads. they can be added to current installation by making one cut and spiraling them into place.
I wish these companies would start upping the DC output to 20a or so on these smaller power stations. I think Pecron is the only one that has done it with the E1500LFP which has 300-400w DC output.
Dude! This Was Amazing! *Sife Note ~ I May Be Bias Because I'm A General Contractor But I Can Tell You I Have Watched A LOT Of Vids On Turning My Tacoma Into A Home When I'm Traveling & Take It All Out EASY & FAST As Possible For My Jobs! You Are Easily The Best At Breaking Down What You Are Doing Into What "Homeowners" Can Easily Understand!!! Many Props To You & Your Knowledge & Basically Verbage For All!💯👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The thing that stands out the most to me is that your craftsmanship and attention to detail is HIGH LEVEL. Clean runs, clean splices, heat shrink, terminators, niiiice and Professional. WELL DONE!!!!
We sold our 1984 Toyota new horizon motor home last year. I watched all of your views during our remodeling and it makes me happy to see your growth brother. Hopefully I can buy one of these solar generators for my next build. -Dave
Man, I am so learning. So I was going to build myself a regular electrical box in the back of my van. I use mine for grooming dogs. But my God, you have shown me so many other options.
Thanks bro you I 'm from France , even struggling with English I' ll finish by understanding all , a great content no way to find it in french, I started converting a mini camper just for holidays and week-ends I bought Fossibot F800 a 512 wh power station & 100watts solar panel I a have my CPAP apnea machine 2 led 5v lights a 12v fan a Water pump . Thank you so much God bless you
Hey bro, can I just say you've been an inspiration to me...I'm in no way as good as you, I've just started doing TH-cam vids...so I'll keep watching you and be inspired 😊
You’re so good at teaching this stuff I’m too old and just living in my regular van because I’m homeless but if I was young and not homeless again I would do this! And I’m a woman
Thank you so much this is exactly what I wanted to see. Every video I've seen about electrical has involved hooking up batteries to chargers and inverters and all that stuff, and I'm perfectly happy with my little box that has all that stuff in one unit like your Anker. But I didn't have much info on how to connect it up to outlets and appliances around the van and this will be helpful
I am watching this right now and I am amazed, you have a brilliant imagination and mad skills! I can only imagine what you could do with a big budget. I think this is your calling, for real!
Condolence to you and your family. Oh my goodness. My wife and I just watched part 1 and 2… awesome amazing videos. Looking forward to seeing other ones. Thank you for sharing. Happy 2024 to you.
Great informative video! You explained and demonstrated it so well, I think I can give it a go! I've always had an aversion towards electrical projects but you made it look so easy a child could do it! 😃 Thanks so much!!
Ok. Let’s just get to the point. You are amazing!!! Electrical set up confuses me but you did such a good job I actually ‘kinda’ understand where as an hour ago I was just nope. Actually feeling like I may be able to do this. I have a Bluetti AC200MAX so hopefully it will power what I WANT not necessarily NEED. Good job and thanks for giving an old lady some confidence!
This is third or fourth video I've seen of yours and you are doing some very quality work and showing some fresh ideas its nice to see someone taking pride in what they are doing so keep up the good work
The best camper video out! You are a true teacher. I am a female and think I can do this. Thanks for showing how to wire an outlet plug. I am going to buy some fork connectors.
Bro you the man. I was just looking to buy a Chevy exspress 1500 van I had one before in 2008 and I loved it and i didnt do much but put a TV and system in it, already had the bed in the back. But what you have done is sick bro. I said to my wife it wasn't more then 5K to do what you did the first time I saw your channel with out hearing you say it, and then saw another video where you proved me right. Also I have no problem paying for the blueprint to do a van regardless of the price. So yes make that happen you have a plus on my end bro. Sorry for your loss of your father my condolences to you.🤲🏾 Keep up the good work bro.
1/7/2024 condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. My granny said the fruit doesn’t fall too far from the tree. I see an awesome man through you are an outstanding person with sharing your knowledge on vans conversions. One day hopefully soon I will be experiencing this lifestyle. Soon
Thank you so very much for the sharing of your time and expertise with solar wiring, fuses, and breakers. I now feel confident to take on the challenge of hooking up a small solar system to my shed (not yet built, though; but, soon to come). I am gathering as much knowledge as I possibly can in preparation to the build. Thanks again!!!
Another banger bruh. Oh yeah, I got my SolixC1000 on day 1. It's the right size & portability to ride up front and power my small dc fridge. Much appreciated the tutorial.
Thank you for the lesson. I have an old van that I got very cheap. Wanna build it out. Keep it my property just because I’m getting too old to sleep in a tent. Be great to have electric and a fan.
This is very helpful. The Anker portable power station is less than impressive, but I'm def keeping this for when I finally (hopefully soon) get to put a van together.
Great video, and I appreciate the honesty in the end about going the circular outlet route to save time or money. I want to get a van I can stand inside and rig it similarly to this van, as I want a desk space like you have here.
Incredible video, well done as usual and just what I'm looking for my cargo conversion. I didn't see the link for that AC/DC distribution/fuse box in your Amazon list? What is the unit called/brand or a link please??
Just Wanted To Send Out A Huge Thank You, I'm In Process Of Updating A 32ft 1984" Chieftain Winnebago. Being Able To Remove All The Old & Big Outdated Electronics. An Renovating It With New Modern Electronic Technology! Has Made My Project Not Only Cheaper, But Easier! Big Thanks & Respect To You For Teaching Us Who Are Not As Knowledgeful & Talented To Do Our Projects Right The First Time! 😎
This is the best (no assumptions) electrical setup information I have seen. I'm afraid of electricity and have never wired up my MaxFan. Maybe I can try now.
Such an amazing job explaining the what and the how!! Bravo😊 I’m so intimidated by electrical systems. I’ve done a lot of home remodeling and updates and I always shy away from the electric but the way you described and explained everything makes me feel like I could tackle that if I needed to.
I'm starting to learn about wiring for a build I want to do. I have zero electrical experience and found your video to be the BEST I've seen that takes it from the item you want to power all the way to the power source (battery). Very, very helpful. I guess you can teach an old dog (me) new tricks! Thank you so much.
Love your content so detailed makes me want to wire something up. Love building things, retired carpenter and enjoy working and dealing cars, fun stuff. Have a good day.
Mr. DualEx, I'm Henderson and I been watching your videos and I like the way you put the Freightliner Sprinter Van together and your other builds. Thank you for making this easy for someone like me to do. It always seemed so complicated
What is simple for some will be hard for others! Just depends on what your passion is and you found it of course! It’s as easy as breathing for you

DX: your skills and videography keep getting better. Thanks so much for the content!!
I know this is a silly question...how do you know what size fuses/breakers are required for all of your various bits??
The magnets on the front door. That is so bad ass. It’s the little things that make shit so much easier that matter. You’re super cool.
Yea bro been waiting for another video 🫡
You do amazing work! And I don't there's anything you can't do or figure out!!!!
Love the van. Now... u need a french Château to remake. Or one of those dollar houses in Italy.
those stripped wire crimp on covers are impressive! Gotta get me some of those!
A true master at your craft love your work
Builder man is back! Awesome vid, dualie
Thank you for this and all the videos you make - I feel more empowered and much less confused compared to other resources I’ve looked at!
I’m so glad you are back!!

As always great job. Now we want to watch you rebuild the sailboat ⛵️ it would be fun thing to watch with ur craftsmanship
I love your videos. You are a very talented individual. Well done!
Love your content so detailed makes me want to wire something up. Love building things, retired carpenter and enjoy working and dealing cars, fun stuff. Have a good day.
What size wire should be used for the main 30amp breaker. 15 amp I know is 14 gauge.
