Question when your down shifting gears from 5th back to 1st do you still downshift to go back to 1st to turn a corner or how does that work, I’m taking some classes next week so been trying to learn I got a 2009 Honda cbr 250r

Hi there , congratulations on getting a bike. Mine is a 2015 cbr 250r , it has 6 speed gearbox, u have to downshift based on your speed, u don't have to come down to the first gear always, u can use the second gear and control the clutch accordingly. Hope this helps.

It's a bs3 model. There is a significant difference in top end between bs3 and bs4.
