I am a Cbr 250r owner, what you said absolutely right. The bike is very smooth low maintenance.
*Brake Pads Details and Alternatives:
For Non ABS model:
Bybre calipers. Aftermarket vesrah pads are available which are not really worth the price point. EBC pads are also available which are costly.
If on a tighter budget Bajaj Pulsar 220s brake pads can be used by slightly cutting some brake material off. It can damage the rotor disk and can thus degrade the life if not done properly. Also RE650s brake pads can be used.
Honda stock non abs brake pads cost around 1000rs in Front and Rear. It's good for the higher price with better quality. Recommended.
For C-ABS (Combined ABS):
Nissin 3 piston calipers are used here in front. The stock honda cbr sintered pads costs higher.
Front: 2000rs approx
Rear: 1500rs approx (same for Dual channel abs model Nissin caliper)
Alternatively, stock BS3 honda hornet's 160r brake pads can be used which costs lesser (Rs.700 approx)
For Dual Channel ABS:
Nissin 2 piston caliper is used in the Front.
Honda stock brake pads costs a Bomb to replace - Rs.4300 approx.
Alternatively, stock honda highness front brake pads can be used which costs Rs.800 approx.
Rear: 1500rs approx (same as C-ABS Nissin caliper)
*Coolant reservoir:
Cbr250s coolant reservoir is located in the bottom region of the bike in the middle which can be damaged by small stones hit or even heat exchange happening. So pls check the coolant reservoir periodically. If damaged and without any coolant in it change it. Costs approx 100rs only.
Coolant qty: approx 1.1lt
800ml - radiator
200-150ml - reservoir
* Mechanical Oil Seal
As already mentioned in the video, weep hole is present here unlike KTM/Bajaj model bikes that can show when the coolant and oil is mixing due to rupture in mechanical oil seal. If there are signs of leakage, change the mech. Oil seal immediately. Part is a bit difficult to procure and is costly - approx 2000rs.
* Wheel/sprocket bearing sizes:
Recommended to change every 25k-30k kms in Indian road conditions
Front wheel:
2 pcs - 6302 -2Z
Rear wheel/sprocket:
6203 -2Z
6204 -2Z
6303 - 2Z/C3
Fork oil:
Recommended to change fork oil once in 15k-20k kms.
Fork oil qty per leg: 331ml
Fork oil seal: approx price: Rs 305. (Change in pairs)

Which brake pad is best for non abs bro?
@@randm2901 I haven't tried any brake pads other than honda OEM. OEM Is costlier than Bajaj, re and all. But its performing good.

Adding on : RE Himalayan rear brake pads are direct fit for non abs CBR 250. (No adjustments needed, have been using since last two years).
Hi Sridhar, I am a CBR250rR C-ABS owner since 2012. Off lately, my brake pads have started wearing out within 10,000 kms (front as well as back). Earlier it used to go 15,000 easily. There are no scratches on the disc. What can potentially be the issue ? Ofcourse my braking habits havent changed much. I use both the brakes simultaeneously most of the times. Also, compared to before, my coneset seems to go bad within 10,000 kms too which wasnt the case earlier. Riding style and conditions have been more or less the same in last 11 years. No significant difference in the way the bike is treated by me.

Brake pad for CABS cost around 2200 Rs, Bs4 Abs varient brake pad cost around 4000 rupess , alternative available at the rate of 1500
Non Abs cost somewhere less than 1500
You can use the Pulsar 220's back brake pad for Non-ABS CBR. Costs around 350-400
