This is a custom one off build by Phil Cotton, owner of Cotini Racing. It’s a 1989 Benelli 900 Sei ‘Brand New’! Customised co create this glorious Cafe Racer. Now owned by ourselves, (Lowbourne Classic Vehicles)
1989 was the last year of Benelli 900 Sei production, between 1979 and 1989 there were only around 1863 900 Sei's produced, so the 900 Sei could never be classed as a mass produced machine. The 900 Sei was available in four series, Mk1 was only available in 1979, Mk II from 1980 until 1983, MkIII from 1984 until 1986 and finally the Mk IV was from 1986 until stock dried up in 1989. The 900 Sei's predecessor, the 750 Sei only had a four year production run from 1974 until 1978, a total of 3200 750 Sei's were built. Both machines are now considered classics and their value is increasing rapidly. I have a 1980 MkII 900 Sei which I've owned since 1986 when I traded in my 1980 Laverda 1200 against it.
Thats awesome, but I was really enjoying the Dawn Chorus before you blew it all away! :D Those blackbirds and thrushes were all suddenly like WTF is that!!!!
Up til hearing this bike running, I thought it was a toss up between the Honda CBX with a 6 into 1, or stock Benelli 750sei for best sounding bike ever, but this is porn. Great set up by whoever created it.
@@robertmenghini.Lambomad i hope so... a bike like that deserves to be ridden and seen... and i'm sure there'd be no shortage of volunteers to exercise it for you if you're busy.

Your tank probably is not made from neoprene...?
No it’s metal mate
@@robertmenghini.Lambomad Yes, that`s what I thought. The factory 900Sei had béack neoprene tank hidden under red fiberglass.
RESPEC!
Thanks
