- “My greatest regret is my children... Dad was wrong last time. I hope you will forgive me.”
In his younger days, Ong Hock Soon had a good family and salary, but lost both through his problem with gambling. Today, the 69-year-old is on his feet six days a week serving up food as a hawker’s assistant - and says he will likely work until he dies.

I don't get why he can't just apologize to his family and make amends. Don't know if you don't try. what's that chinese saying, there's no enemy when it comes to family.

He did say he was sorry to his kids but he doesn’t want to bother them cause of what he used to do. He said he would rather they reach out first 😢 very sad. I’m glad my dad and I were able to maintain our relationship.
