You guys keep FCP alive!!!
Thank you for this! 🙏🙌
Fantastic guys!
Background Remover can be applied only to Videos with People, or also on Photos where you want to put a Title behind an object?
It will work on Photos.
how much better is it than keyper if i have keyper so i need to buy this?
Experiment on your footage using the free trial and see what works best for you.
What's the difference now? Keyper now works on objects too in a recent update
I suggest you try both on the specific project you are working on.
whats the different between this and keyper?
keyper only does humans (and not in every position). this is more like FCP's native bg remover (auto mapper), it does objects too. i am not sure if this plugin really has its own reign. it kinda adds to what is there already.
awesome thank you for your answer :) @@SLfilmBerlin
I’m wanting to know this too, especially with the release of Keyper 2.1.
Is it possible to make one for Davinci Resolve would be nice
Davinci has one of the best masking tools there is, Magic Mask, and it is amazing, not sure anything else would be better than the built in masking or keyer that is free in Davinci...
I have purchased this plugin but I am not able to download in my FCP as i have not recieved any download file. Please help
Simply download and install the FxFactory app and sign into the app using the same email that you used to purchase: fxfactory.com/download/

Will this also facilitate sky swaps for real estate videos?
Experiment using the free trial to see if it fits your needs.
@@FxFactory If you made a plug-in to specifically do sky replacements it would be a hit.
Looks pretty good, does anybody think it is any better than Keyper ? Which is pretty awesome by the way...
Experiment for yourself using the free unlimited trial and see if it meets your needs.
@@FxFactory Just tried to but unfortunately it is only for Sonoma Boooo Thanks!
Is this an update to keyper if I already purchased that effect?
No, Keyper is a different product.
That sucks. Now I need to buy another expensive plugin. Just my opinion in this case.
@@sgguitaryou don’t need to buy it. Just stick with Keyper.
@@sgguitar it's the same as keeper tho
Does this work with multiple people at once?
Yes. You can take advantage of the fact that you can download, install and test all products in trial mode free of charge before making a purchase. During trial mode all products are fully functional indefinitely, but render a small watermark.
Thanks sounds good @@FxFactory
I just bought this, and it says requirements not met. Can I get my money back then? I can't use it.

Figures! I bought Keyper recently and now this comes out... YARRRGHHHH!
Check out our Refund Policy if you'd rather one over the other. fxfactory.com/about/
@@FxFactory Thanks for mentioning that! Well, I tried the trial edition of Background remover and compared it against Keyper 2 - I think Keyper is going to be a "Keeper". In the end, Keyper 2 produced a sharper key image than Background Remover IMHO. Plus, it's currently $79 compared to $99 Background Eraser.
We need AI for automatic key frames.
This is a rotoscope tool, right?
While there are similarities with this & rotoscope tools, we do not consider this a rotoscoping tool.
@@FxFactory Will you guys ever create a true rotoscoping tool? FCPX needs one badly that doesn’t require a subscription!
The watermark on the trial version is so huge I can't even see if it's working or not 😂
Thanks for the feedback.
I do not have a slow computer, this slows my FCP down to a crawl. Once it renders, everything is smooth, but the second I add anything to it, it has to start over from scratch and playback goes to about 1fps. I'm nowhere near using CPU, GPU, or RAM capacity. Right now, the only way I can use this is to render it with a green screen behind it, export it as its own video, re-insert the video with green screen and remove the green screen. I might as well do this with CapCut.
[EDIT:] Okay, maybe the key is to make a composite clip of the video and have that render, then make all additions outside that clip, that seems to be working so far
[EDIT AGAIN:] Nope. Still does it. I feel like I just flushed $100 down the toilet.
