You know I really love that comment, why is Palworld not compared to Digimon? cause its less well known? Digimon have actual weapons on their bodies like missile launchers, yet I don't hear Digimon fans decrying Palworld like Pokémon fans are. The only thing I can think of is because Pokémon has had what feels like a Pseudo Monopoly on the pocket monster genre through popularity/infamy that even non Pokémon players know about Pokémon yet its never been the only pocket monster game and hardly anyone seems to know or recognize that
Not 1 Digimon fan cried about palworld... the entire Pokémon fan base weeps over palworld
The people who complain about this game amaze me. Pokemon has had this sitting in their lap for years, yet they seem to only be capable of releasing half-baked, empty versions of the same formula they've used for decades. Palworld is visually decent and they use the 3D open world environment well. Pokemon still can't make a convincing 3D environment.

I'm glad there's competition for Nintendo lol, competition is good. They need to get over trying to sue their fans, the whole thing is kind of nonsense. I'm glad there's a backlash.
i played over 50 hours of this game and honestly the game is trash . the only reason it sold alot is because of 2 mechanism, pokemon catching concept and guns..
the game is empty, there is no evolution system, the pokemon breeding system is flawd, as when you breed 2 different pokemon you get a totally different pokemon that doesnt look anything like its parents. the base building is terrible ,the art design of pokemon here is terrible, it feels like it was designed by a 10 year old, there is literally nothing to do in the game , beside leveling up, feeding your pokemons and catching them all ... .
i hate the fact that lazy developers who got really successful because pokemon failed to give people like us who are craving for open world pokemon game a decent game .
i am fully aware that the game is early access , the game has a very long way to go to become decent

personnaly I find the game mid as fuck. It’s basically less good ark and the only reason imo the game is so popular is because it’s pokemon with guns
