The 15-minute delay only applies if your blood sugar is changing rapidly. And there's no way around that. "Or just get an iPhone" Far from being amusing, it is analogous to Tim Cook's oblivious suggestion to 'buy your mother an iPhone'. Such an arrogant attitude has been universally berated. As a developer, I recognize reality: Apple, Android, Windows, and Linux serve the world. It's fine to concentrate on one market segment to the exclusion of the others. But that's a financial resource decision and has nothing to do with improving the lives of diabetics. Rather than wasting a viewer's time, you'd provide a better service by stating upfront this app is Apple only. By the way, in the modern world, potential users should also be forewarned about an app's privacy policy or discover too late their data is being sold.
I also hate the fact that these people are sourcing $$$'s from those afflicted with health issues who are looking for something better to manage their diabetes. I would much prefer to pay a ONE OFF fee, and not an ongoing month after month fee. That's just simply copying the greed of many other companies like Micro$oft.
@@phillipg1588 What is equally sad is a TH-camr invests years establishing their credibility... then jeopardizes it totally touting a product. @@phillipg1588 Agreed. Governments, on the one hand, provide much needed financial support by way of subsidized sensors costs, but can't provide funding for a small group to develop a free app to integrate properly with said sensors; and I mean an app that considers the actual needs and wants of T1D's, and is compatible with various platforms and equip. eg. The app for the ones sold on Ali Express is shutting down in September, so can’t use them. Also can’t order direct from the company as they don’t supply to Australia plus most other countries. Too expensive to buy the ones in Australia for a T2.
Yes, I agree. Unfortunately, SiBionics is still to small. Probably not worth the efforts yet.
I would legit donate(not much, but what I can) to develop an android version. im sure others would, too.
We need an android version asap!!!!!!!
Looks great, I hope they come up with one for android!
Me too!
Thanks for the app suggestion Tom. Great App!
Thank you my friend!
Hope works with Stelo soon
It would be cool to be able to pull it up on video game consoles👍🏾💯
Shame it's not on android as I'm not an apple user
Sweet dreams is fantastic
Ah, he got me again - I remember this app and forgot about it. Got me excited all over again, only to realize why I forgot about it - no Android support whatsoever. Sure, my wife has an Apple phone, watch, tablet, blah, blah, blah. Android is 56% of the worldwide market as of 2024, over 70% market share in the US alone...seems like a simple math mistake by the devs to me.
I need this tired of using strips
Dam watch the whole video to find out that it doesn't support my phone FML
I installed it and paid for it (one-week free trial), but there's no sweet dream widget available on the home or lock screens. Does anyone have an idea why this is?
Hey app dev here, press the Live Activity button in the bottom left
Did you activate the live activity? You need to click on it in the app.
"Or just get an iPhone". That comment, plus the feeling that this is just one long advert have led to an Unsubscribe. Well done!
I understand the unsub. And I see where you are coming from when you say this video was a bit too promotional. I had doubts I would see comments like this but I decided to post this anyway. Simply because I really love the app. Also, I apologize to Android users if my sentence "Just get an iPhone" was too harsh. I just wanted to tease you a bit, didn't mean it in a bad way, more like a joke. I'm sorry if it didn't land well. Btw, the developer who designed this app is a private iOS developer and they currently do not have the skill to create the Android app. However, they are looking for a solution how to do this in the future. Wishing you all the best my friend!

No Android version? Worthless! 👎

Can you ask Siri about your sugar with this app?
I am not aware of this feature but I lerned yesterday that Siti can be used with the Dexcom CGM directly.
"Or just get an iPhone"
Far from being amusing, it is analogous to Tim Cook's oblivious suggestion to 'buy your mother an iPhone'.
This app may offer extraordinary advantages - but they may also be obliterated near instantly if Dexcom or Abbot decide to provide a similar UI and feature set.
@@phillipg1588 Agreed. Governments, on the one hand, provide much needed financial support by way of subsidized sensors costs, but can't provide funding for a small group to develop a free app to integrate properly with said sensors; and I mean an app that considers the actual needs and wants of T1D's, and is compatible with various platforms and equip. eg. I want live sensor data on a Samsung watch - why should that be so damn difficult?
@@phillipg1588hey app dev here, I hear you! I built the app alongside my wife and our goal is to keep it sustainable. We’ve given it for free to people that can’t afford it, our goal isn’t to make things harder for anyone but just to build something sustainable as it takes up tens of hours a week
Point taken about bringing the fact that it is iPhone only upfront. Thanks for that feedback. Also, I apologize to Android users if my sentence "Just get an iPhone" was too harsh. I just wanted to tease you a bit, didn't mean it in a bad way, more like a joke. I'm sorry if it didn't land well. I couldn't care less about what phone anyone uses. No miaomiao support. Tomato app os the worst app in ios ever. I thought this app will help to replace it, but not.
Another good app ignoring the most popular phone Operating System (Android 70.3% market share this year) on the planet. Silly. Must be financially driven.
Hey app dev here, not financially driven, I just don’t have the ability to code Android apps 😅 but I’m learning specifically for this app
Not getting any readings so cancelled my subscription
Sorry to hear that! It usually takes a few minutes for the readings to appear btw.
I'll never buy an Iphone

Totally impossible to get started with this app. Usually your content is pretty good but this one sucks!!
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE MONEY THE APP IS LOSING BY NOT HAVEING THE APP AVAILABLE FOR ANDROID !!
No, because I do not have access to their financials. Otherwise I would be able to claculate that for you because I'm an accountant:)
