Vacuum force matters, Not amount of Rollers!! Yes, it may clean up a bit better with 2, but for how long before most of the work is being carried by the rear Brush anyways? Those front soft rollers will eventually get worn from friction where-as Brushed roller will essentially last forever. Then again, I'm not eating off my floors, I just need something fast, 1 roller is fine(plus the smaller size is good for me). But also keep in mind, I work with commercial Vacs, and everything is Single Brush and never had an issue! 2 rollers will eat more battery theoretically(probably not much, but it's Still geared to the rear roller, it Will consume more, period, but like I said, who knows how much in real world). But personally I'm only concerned with quick use, not "displaying" my floors to a museum, lol.

I don’t think it’s for extra cleanliness, I think its for versatility (like, different surfaces without changing head)

I can tell this guy cares about his kids, I have that same car seat and they are in the upward $350 to $400 and have the best safety rating.
Now on the vacuum I bought the dual roller but was seriously impressed with the single roller. To me the single roller excelled on the carpet but struggled on the floor. I almost need both but I’m a ryobi nut like him.

Great review as always. I picked up the standard roller setup this weekend as part of the Ryobi Days deals. I really wish the dual head was an option but understand it isn't due to price difference. After watching this review, I'll be grabbing the dual head from Direct Tools really soon. I figured with the soft roller, it would be great for hard floors as it makes more of a solid smooth contact with the floor while the standard roller picks up stuff. You get normal vacuuming while also wiping it to collect fine dust. Perfect combo & my Shark is now retired.

Ryobi needs to make one that can handle long hair. I have a corded vac, a Shark vertex, that has a tangle free dual roller and it’s awesome. But I like the convenience of cordless. The Ryobi brush gets hair tangled in it really bad.

Dude you are my hero. I’m in the market for a new vacuum since my three year old Hoover took a crap. Wonder how the life expectancy is on these stick ones by Ryobi. I’m already in the tool line 🤟 I have two dogs and two cats, no kids. I’ve never owned a cordless vac so this would be a first for me

Thanks for the video. I just bought the single roller as part of the Ryobi Days combo sale with the 2, 4, 6 high performance battery pack. I was considering purchasing the double roller connector on sale from Direct Tools Outlet but since I'm most concerned about carpet your video convinced me I'm fine where I am.

Someone finally got the dual roller right, seal the bottom but make it so debris can go through the bristles instead of making it jump over the debris and rub it into the floor
Single roller is still better for carpet though

So looking for a Ryobi stick vacuum for my camper since I have other Ryobi stuff. Camper has linoleum and a little carpet for the slide outs. Which head should I get? I know the single roller head you said it left some granular items but wonder if you had turned off the bar if it would have gotten the grit up better. Care to try it for me? :D I can get the single head one at Direct Tools as a factory recondition for $140 right now.

Nice review. Considering going cordless for my weekend office cleaning gig and of course want to go with Ryobi since I'm already invested in the 18v battery system. Seems like the smaller head would be fine for my needs but nice to know the larger can be bought separately.
Now go deal with that smoke alarm!

The part that hold the lid close breaks after a while. Make sure you get the warranty thing or you will be screwed. other than that I liked it. Hard to clean as well. I was checking the dual roller but you confirmed what I suspected... Both units are the same up top.

  • @BradKwfc
    @BradKwfc ปีที่แล้ว +1

Good to see they changed the roller design. I had a 7181 and the roller literally froze in the case (heat melted roller plastic to housing) and the handle was terrible.
Only question is do I buy this or just convert my Shark to run Ryobi batteries?

  • @dazekiel

Loved the video. What are your thoughts on the brushed vs brushless question? I am in the market for a stick vac and given my collection of Ryobi batteries and charging station, I want to stick with the brand. Price matters somewhat and while I can afford the top of the line, I don't want to pay for it if I don't need to.

a lot of people don't know why Dyson need to pull up the top then the bottom door open, and then need to drop the top and close the bottom door, because it better than just only the bottom door open, Dyson design to pull up the top filter higher first, then door open ,it can release inside dust pressure when it's too full,,dust won't stuck.

The difference in performance could have been due to the rock getting stuck and stopping the flow of suction.

@@housesaint1685 Vacuum power is What matters, not more rollers...I've been using commercial vacs for years, Never seen a double......everything is Single brush roller!.......I think double is kind of a gimmick, after a few seasons of use, those front rollers will likely get stained and worn, and Not work right, now all the work is on the Brush roller.(which lasts forever) I'm not trying to eat off my floors, I just need something fast. Yeah the double will clean up a bit better, but for How long.....anyways I just need something that works good enough.

So I went to the direct tools outlet last on my phone around midnight and loaded my cart with a bunch of good deals. I fell asleep and forgot to save my cart. When I woke up at 7 the next morning the prices of pretty much everything had nearly doubled. For example, the Ryobi 40v 12ah battery was $225 and now it’s $360, the 8ah was $160 and now it’s $260. What the heck’s the deal? I know I wasn’t dreaming because I wrote the prices down for everything.

Nice vac but the design of both rollers i can see it collecting hair and probabpy have to take the roller out once a week to cut all the hair out and that can get tedious pretty quickly . Dyson have a amazing design roller head that is anti tangle , shark have one too bit the dyson one is superior ive used both vacs and the dyson is so anti tangle.
