George, the mustard is French dijon mustard, it’s with horseradish, that’s why it tastes like wasabi!
Thanks for that comment. I was wondering why exactly there would be some wasabi-like condiment in Morocco but the explanation of Dijon mustard with horseradish (even though Dijon mustard doesn’t necessarily have horseradish) makes sense.

@@GeorgeJapan you could ve asked for it actually but I guess the guy who translated to you didn't propose it to you so you didn't know, but you can actually ask for some Nutella or honey or white cheese on it you can also have a combo (honey and white cheese is the best btw!). You should visit the south and north of morocco, it s breathtaking there are so many great beaches (like Assilah or Martil).

Hello dear, When you buy a Msemen (moroccan pancake as you said) try to ask them to put something on it and drink tea with it: msemen with cheese and honey, msemen with chocolate.... There are also salty stuffed msemen that are cooked inside .

Actually the moroccan crepe is called " Msmen" , the one that you chose is filled with 10:05 onions and peppers and its spicy. You should order the one without nothing and put some chocolate sauce inside and enjoy it with a moroccan tea🇲🇦

9:43 I think you chosed the one with "lakhlii" which is a dried meat. It takes weird at first but you might like it after. Next time make sure is a normal msemen and you kan add honey or/and butter...just delicious !

I use Gouda cheese wasabi flavor in my rice salad along with dry raisin, corn, heart of palm and apple or pineapple with mayo sauce it s just a heaven

Hi I'm Moroccan and i just wanted to tell you that the Wasabi sauce you really like is actually mustard in our country and some kids don't eat until like they become teenagers because they can't stand the Wasabi flavor it has (I still can't eat it even though I'm a teenage) but most of Moroccan people enjoy it.and correcting your information it's not that rare to find fast foods in the street there are even some neighborhoods who have them and sometimes you just pass by a Starbucks right in the middle of many buildings and a out the dessert you got it was actually a salty course called msemen the man probably misunderstood you
I think that the some best things the world is hamburguer, hot-dog and other fast foods with ketchup. I love ketchup so much. 🍅✨

In really pomegranate (romã) is good for the throat and imunity, George. The fruit have anti inflammatory/antiseptic actions. Is possible find medicines with a mix of pomegranate, propolis, honey and ginger in spray form to use when have sore throat, for exemple.

@@GeorgeJapan yes it is but it's only a civil court of first instance , and it is also a public space so anyone can visit it , in fact, in fact the suqare where it is was designed in the first place to host public buildings and service , that's why there is the city hall the big post office , the theater, and the bank al maghrib which is the central bank of Morocco.

I was watching you buy that crepe and thinking that that thing did not look like dessert - it did look good, though! I think that there is a Big n' Tasty burger at the MacDonalds here in Canada, but I don't go to MacDonalds much. I'm curious about what makes that mayo sauce that you had taste like wasabi - it's very unlikely that it is wasabi... maybe it's horseradish sauce? Thank you fo the video, as always!
It’s French dijon mustard. It has horseradish in it that’s why it tastes like wasabi.
@@jaall7280 that’s true, dijon mustard does have horseradish - I thought it looked a little pale, but watching again I can tell it’s actually fairly yellow.

I had guessed horseradish sauce because you said that it tasted like wasabi, and horseradish tastes like that. Morocco has a big French influence, so it makes sense that they would have French style mustard there!
Actually there are moroccan specialties in mcdonalds like menu beldi and I remember that the publicity of this menue was made by japanese people
you eat "Msemmen" as pancake, it's not sweet, cuz it's not a dessert, it's a bread with which we breakfast or we snack at 17h , and we add honey and cheese or Amlou(almond butter) or peanut butter...etc on it, it's very delicious

Haha, there actually _is_ a Rick’s Café in Casablanca but it opened 62 years after the movie premiered, in an obvious bid to cash in on the fame of the café in the movie-it wouldn’t me if the place were a bit of an overpriced tourist trap. I bet George has _no_ idea of the reference.

I am not fully sure but I think that "wasabi sauce" is Algerian sauce. It is a famous fast food sauce in Morocco which was invented by a Moroccan in Belgium and is a bit spicy like wasabi.
