He says he has not seen any issues with stock pumps as of yet. But when I asked him if this kit would be a good idea he said yes, as an upgrade like that never hurts. I know on the VA the pumps would tend to give out at higher E content so I figured why not. Better safe than sorry.
@@DarkWolfWRX yeah that’s true wouldn’t hurt to upgrade the pump. Where did you get yours. What do you think the issue was with your Dyno ? Getting lower numbers?
@@RonnyRoice I picked mine up from Burger Motorsports. As for the lower numbers I figure its a combination of being over 100 degrees by the time we got on the dyno, with the fact that it was kinda hard to dial in the E tune with how he uses VD to get a base line. With the STI trans the runs were coming out wonky with his settings. Now we have actual hard numbers to go on so we will see what we can do further.

Drunkmann says your stock fuel pump is good to run E. Or was their another reason you change the pump ?

@@RonnyRoice I have noticed based on the logs the new pump stays closer on target than the stock one. So it is performing haha.
