Yo I love this crew! Been subed to karma, pairs, and tacti for a while. They got good chemistry and vibes
I was one of the first people who started playing ground branch!!!! Shit, I had just about a month ago revisited it after taking a break for a year or more and almost didnt recognize it!!! They have made some great improvements on it! It is a great game. Was a great game when I played it. They even added some new levels and have improved the mechanics alot. It's a top notch game. This is not like " a game in development" type game. Even though it is still being improved. This is a badass FPS. Very tactical. The focus is tactical movement. You cant just run through like a crazy banshee, you need to think things out to survive. Also, it does have a great player base. The player base consists of others who are also willing with mics to communicate for the tactical cause as the game requires it to really survive. If you havent tried this game I cant recommend it enough.
Also, for the guy who made the video, heres a little gem for you- I noticed your scope is blurry in night vision mode. I have a FIX FOR YOU!!! There is the capability for night vision scopes with NV goggles, but requires an attachment; You need your choice scope and the big round ANV OR NAV or PEQ scope either behind or in front of your choice scope. I slaughtered the name if it, but it's a big goofy night vision lens that adds night vision capability to all the scope types. Its crystal clear too. You have to have both. Ground Branch focuses on realism that's why it's there. Not alot of guys know that and find themselves just using their flashlights or the blurry scope with the goggles. Your going to have to play with it. Or google it. The reason that is is that most night vision goggles in real life have issues with night vision scopes. What I am saying is this, since day one Ground branch has had an attachment scope that you add with your choice scope that allows any scope to work with the night vision goggles. Not alot of guys playing, even still, know that. (Just like you) lol. I know it's been an issue with the community because most dont know how they actually work lol. So you just need to find the night vision lens addon scope and place it in front or behind of the scope you want to use. (I think its AN-PEQ) Throw on your goggles and test it in the testing range, you will find it. It's the big round bulky thing (the NV lens) It will give you a heck of an advantage compared to without it. Test it in the range shouldnt take too long to find out what I'm talking about. Glad to see someone talking about this game. It needs more attention. Keep playing it and you will get really good at it and it will be fluid just like any other game. I need to get back into it. Just got a new pc so I've been busy playing with other more graphic heavy lately. Anyway, good luck!!!

I have not played the game, but one thing I'm seeing is that the night vision is pretty real with the weapon being blurred out at the low ready, maybe if the whole thing stayed blurry and the primary method of aim was with just the PEQ. Another additional detail could be that the laser dot is more bright and distorted as well as not having a beam unless there is lots of smoke or or other environmental disruption. Not a nitpick at all just some things I think would make it more true to real life, also I haven't used an aim point micro with night vision before so maybe you could aim down sights but unless you put the what looks to be a PVS-14 on your right eye it might be weird to aim like that. Fuck it half the screen should be overlayed with a non night visioned view of the other and be uselessly mixed with the other. Then it wouldn't be FUN tho lol. My two cents

Meanwhile me playing Lone Wolf over and over again lol. Good stuff, GB definitely needs more coverage. It's a great base experience so far and I'm looking forward to seeing what they can add to it. The customization and reload mechanics are so fun.

I just wanna point out that you pretty much never use an optic at night, rely on the laser on your PEQ. It may sound counterintuitive to be hip firing basically, but that is how it's done IRL. Lasers stay off, find a target, laser on and fire, laser back off.

One thing that bugs me about every FPS that integrates NvGs: you're focus, and still being able to use your weapon optic. If your focus is set to infinity, everything within 3' of you is a blur. And good luck trying to get a good cheek weld and sight picture through nods

it does have prox... its an actual tactical shooter, ive been playing it since its first early access. I think this video is a cool concept and i hope the game grows... but i also hope the player base sticks to tactical gaming like it was intended and doesnt go to shit like a lot of other tactical shooters that were ruined by kids that just want to run and gun.

Try to start clearing halls and stuff with your laser and not aiming. It helps because you can see way more. Also I try not to stay in high ready if I'm not in a stack.
