This is the closest A.I has felt like versing actual players in a video game for me. Some seriously impressive mechanics and calculations going on here! 🤯

Ready or Not really just screams passion in terms of the quality of everything. It really goes to show what happens when the devs have set goals of what they want to create in mind and aren't pressured/forced to comply by shareholders, or anything else above them being puppeteers.
Even if a lot of it is controversial to most, especially the real horrific situations. We need games like this.
Its even better since everyone was convinced this game was gonna suck after the abysmal pvp demo, and now it has rallied to be my fav shooter in 2022.

@@mandela7147 It gives me the same amount of stakes like swat 4 does especially nearing the end off the mission, what completely threw me is the fact that i had this situation where botth teams dead and i was on last suspect and got completely annihilated.
i was very frustrated that i needed a break. 15 minutes down the drain.
Tomo and Jack's chemistry is simply unmatched.

The combination of such detailed environments and character development (AI, that is) really creates a fantastically creepy atmosphere. That said, what's it like to have a breaching shotgun fire off just over your head?

Dude this game’s attention to detail is top tier. Cool concept for a game too. Just insane what this studio is doing. The video where Tom reviewed the previous update in the night club map was a cool map too. Love watching these videos and Jack’s company is always welcome.

Getting shot and not knowing what the hell is going on just adds to the immersion.

Yeah I wouldn’t knock anyone who is working on this game, they obviously are elite making a game that blows my mind and i had lost hope on games waiting for the next GTA to come out

Indie devs putting triple A studios to shame these days, most new triple A games are usually unfinished and broken at launch, this game is now Triple A! great work guys and love Tomo n Jack!

I've found so many ways to play this game after this update, and it's only going to increase as time goes on and more content is added! I come up with personal challenges for myself, for example, stab vest only 1 flashbang and 1 stinger, riot shield, jhp ammo for whatever handgun I choose with no attachments but the laser, bean bag shotgun, and no headgear. Some are harder load out combinations than others, the map is also a factor, but some have been VERY fun, challenging and immersive. Using only the revolver snub nose is quite enjoyable. I can't wait for more guns, ammo types, gadgets gear, deployables, etc. Bigger maps with lots of suspects.....I love this game!

That's some really cool AI behavior. More of this will be possible in bigger games I think if old-gen consoles are dropped. More memory and processing power to play with for AI.
I thought you guys might appreciate a compliment on something you may already know but may not hear too often. You have probably have more viewers than you guys realize that don't even play games anymore. I remember my first Nintendo playing duck hunt and Mario Brothers with my family and was always astonished by the progress even back then every year. It blows my mind to see how far gaming has come although I work too hard and just don't have time to get back into it at least not at the moment. I love your content. Nothing like seeing true Masters at their work. I'm so jealous of what you guys get to play today

Yeah, that era in the mid-2000s was peak for attention to detail in games. Sadly most games are too rushed for consumption for that anymore.

Love this game, can't wait to play the update. I play on Steam deck which makes it slightly tricker with the small screen but I can take it anywhere!!!
Tom if you ever want to do some really tactical gameplay in RoN, hit me up! I play with Karmakut and Controlled Pairs very often, we play this very methodically.

Bullets don't ricochet at an equal angle to their angle of impact. They ricochet more or less parallel with the surface they've impacted. So that's not quite right, and it's very relevant because stacking against walls is not recommended IRL due to that fact.
Love seeing some RoN. Remember to drop chemlights in cleared rooms and use the very useful doorwedges when playing duos

That water draining from the tank was in the very first Splinter Cell game, back when Ubisoft were actually trying to innovate xD
The house in the woods mission, your mission isn't to "go kill him" lol it's to bring him in, that's what a warrant is for! It's like SWAT4, the game this is directly aping, you're cops not Judge Dredd. Take a less-lethal beanbag shotgun, or CS gas the room, and bring the dude in to get his day in court.
Play the game how you want at the end of the day but I do feel it's more fun and unique if you don't play it like it's Rainbow Six. It's such a unique game really with the ways you can handle a hostile situation without just gunning folk down!
They changed the RoE for that mission recently because of how inconsistent it is though. You can see in our playthrough that the accomplice immediately takes shots at us from a balcony before we even enter the premises. At which point, it's standard procedure to shoot on site 😂 The A.I for that particular level needs work, though I agree. It would be more immersive if the A.I weren't so aggressive.
He would really be that aggressive, though, if you think about how this mission is framed. These guys are literally conspiring to kill as many federal cops as possible. That's why you need LTL weapons.

I love they AI. Some times if they catch you from far away they wont even shoot but instead look for a way to get close and instakill you both if your not paying attention
Man I wish I had seen this video during the winter sale. Not many were showing off this game but did mention it. Holy H, I dont think I'm even gonna wait for the next sale. This game looks too good. I hope it has mods to add more situations.

The visuals and movement look like they were built in Frostbite, yet this was made in UE4… when an indie studio can make a game look and feel more like a Battlefield game than Dice’s last few releases I think it may be time for them to change some things up..
Dude the fidelity of this game is nearing DCS but at the ground level it's impressive. They put every single major dev to shame with the attention to details. I have not seen a triple A title this good.

There is nothing I hate more than blind, deaf A.I. enemies, I am loving how intelligent they are making the A.I. in this game
Last time I saw a game have a tank actually getting slowly empty but then stop once below the hole was over a decade ago in Splinter Cell 1.
