I bought 2024 Malibu LS. Two weeks in and for the price its an awesome car. I don't need any so called bling. This is a comfortable daily driver with great fuel economy. The best part is it's made in America! Engine and Transmission are manufactured in the U.S.A. Assembled in Kansas City, KS.
My son had a Volt Sedan, I’m not a Chevy guy, but it really was a nice driving car, I know it wasn’t a Malibu, but I like the way GM can make a car drive. I think the Malibu looks good.
I bought this same car (Black Cherry paint) during the very height of the China Virus fiasco. 22K out the door, had 42k on it now and have ZERO complaints. It’s my every day ride to work car. It doesn’t need to have satellite radio as long as you have it on your phone!
@@superjam18 2021. Even wrote out a check for the total amount. Was pretty cool driving a car home with 5 miles on it knowing it was paid off! Mine is an RS model.
I am going to guess that the Malibu is an often overlooked choice. I think rhat it represents good value overall. The RS package is, I think, about 1K$ above base LS but includes a power seat, 18" wheels, a rear spoiler and disl exhausts. Not a bad buy in itself..probably a must. This is a good looking car, reasonably comfortable and quiet eith better acceleration than I anticipated. I know only one owner..car has gone 40K miles with little complaint except during dealer service an oil leaking
at the head gasket was detected and resealed. My local dealer has a good inventory..probably a chance for a good discount. My concerns would be reliability/longevity based and also resale potential. A car worth considering, especially at an attractive price. Old design: yes, but rumor is that early production idsues like body water leaks corrected and cars are fairly dependable. Blind spot/cross traffic alerts should be standard across the board.
@@louispaxton8336 as someone who recently purchased a 2021 LT model, if you care about HP and some speed I would look into getting a Premier trim model. As far as dependability, by the grace if God the dealership replaced my engine at no cost to me when it was having problems. I thought that was strange for something with only 67,000 miles on it. I pray no more problems come about in the near future
No LED lights, no heated seats or steering wheel, no sunroof, a CVT transmission. I like the looks but for the same price I'd rather a Trax...That's just me
I bought a 2024 RS in June. Ever since I’ve had it it shakes, especially when just taking off. Brought in to a Chevy dealer last week and they said this is normal for this vehicle with a C V T transmission. Is this correct? I find it hard to believe that this is normal every time I take it out. I had a 2017 LT before this one and loved it.Please give some feedback. Thank you
I bought a 2024 Malibu RS I love that it’s comfortable roomy compared to my 2019 Honda Accord it looks sexy this car I like it because it was cheap and fries but as far as turbo I don’t know why they call it turbo because there’s no turbo in it And I agree with you with the red stitching there needs to be a little more red bling for an RS but other than that I like the cards good it’s nice and comfortable and the price was good but believe that Chevy needs to step it up or else they’re going to lose a lot of customers
U don't know what your buying dealers like guys like u.its a1.5 turbo.Bye the way just saw malibu discontinued next year. No way this car lasts anywhere near as long as accord or carry that's a nobrainer
It’s funny to me how somebody always has to put down another car but the car that they have is cool but everyone else’s sucks bro I’ve seen Honda Accord dropped 2018 2019 and they look OK I seen Malibu slammed they look nice. My homeboy has a Malibu it has 179,000 milesand it’s still going good so stop putting people down Homie you drive your car

Great! Glad you like the car. Thanks for tuning in.
I bought a 24 RS. Happy with it; got a big discount. But I agree with you about the interior needing some more RS identification

You have a 2019 a 2020 or a 2021? I just brought a 2021 LT model with 67,000 miles on it a month ago

For the price point, for what you get, it's a good buy.
I currently own an 18 Malibu LS and it is very similar to this car.

I hope they update it at some point unless they end it. We’ll see.

Just bought a 2025 RS. Definitely better than the Maxima.
I have the red one. The body is nice but inside is plain. Bought it brand new and the price was in my price range.

I got a Malibu to, mines is a 2023 Lt and mines is sterling gray metallic, love it

A boosted 4-banger is stupid for a car of that size. Should have kept a V6 and boosted that instead.
Just got a 2025 RS. 28345 sticker. I got it for 3000 less. Just over 25k. You can barely get a Kia forte for that and The RS blows that away.
Tachometer is useless to most people, that space could be better used for something else.
No SXM ,not good.
Doesn’t look any different in style from my 2016 Malibu. Inside is practically the same look.
I have a 2018 and it looks just or better then this (disappointing)
A dying breed of vehicles. 😢😢
Sure is.
Discontinued 4 2025 and no where near as good as camry or accord 4 trouble free longevity.
LOL I know a Honda engineer who has told me some "interesting" stories regarding that trouble free longevity myth.
