My very like
this Toyota very Gred
I don't see the gentle brown in the configurator. Did Kia just discontinue it?
The best part about this car is if you run out of gas you can get out and run, you’ll get there just as fast.
I got it it's great but I regret not getting the sel comfoert it has much better features and the price difference is kind of small
Its good they retained the all gas 8 speed transmission. That drive train is very reliable... I have the 2019. I don't drive long distances for me to feel the need to go hybrid... And im all for reliability. Low gas mileage on bumper to bumper stop and go standstill traffic traffic. But 40mpg on the hiway. Mine is almost 6 years so far ive had to replace the Coolant bypass valve.. Disappointed just a bit to have to have replaced an engine part for a relatively young vehicle... But overall very satisfied.
When you order awd, cargo space lessens slightly but you get independent multilink rear suspension. Fwd models have a twist beam rear axle. You can also get a spare tire as a 180 dollar option.
The screen looks different
Nice wheels. Good cars
I just got the Elantra SEL with Convenience last week. It’s a fun drive but not having electric driver seats is a downside for the price. And the open handle is kind of useless and makes the front feel cramped. Not many negatives but those two are significant. I was always a Toyota Camry loyal for years and years but starting with the 2025s they only make them in Hybrids, which I don’t want. Bad decision on Toyota’s part.
But will it blend? 😅
$309 for floor mats....ouch!
Just bought a Laredo X like this one, but mine has 3rd row, captain’s seats and a sunroof. Love. It! With the rebates, this is a good lease for me because I was carrying quite a bit of negative equity on my near 100k miles trade in. I understand a lot of people are in a negative equity situation due to the chip issues and car shortages 2 years ago. This is a great car and a great time to swallow the negative and drive a new cool car, maintenance free.
$38,000[after tax’s] of complete uninspired vehicle, and that’s putting it nicely!
I just bought one with this exact package love it
2025 is my next vehicle xle with no sun roof
A GM answer to high vehicle costs. Attractive..somehow grille is s bit awkward. More of a fastback sedan. Have question about longevity and reliability of engine with a "wet" belt design. Attractive.. maybe a good value short term lease would be best value. Nice, detailed review..as always! .
Thanks Louis!
10 inches of ground clearance, looks like 3 inches of ground clearance with that ridiculous looking air damn, myswell buy a civic
In a nutshell they now use the full underpinnings of the Elantra, and put on a different body/interior. They needed to get "funky" to match the times since the Forte is just more Traditional looking.
Any vehicle not doing 7sec range 0-60 or 1/4 mile in the 15 sec range range not safe. Just image A/C ON OR 2PEOPLE IN THE CAR OR MORE AND IF YOU DID SHOPPING IT COULD BE A "DEATH-ISSUE"
Under 30k base model sry
Who did the pinstripes? Very classy 👏🏽
I thought the dealer did, but they told me it came from the factory that way. Nice touch.
@chabbysrides Thank you! My Dealer has a 2025 exactly like the one you Reviewed but no pin striping on it. Too bad because it adds a cool look to it.
The Sentra is better. I’ve driven both extensively (city, highway) for thousands of miles.
The JEEPS are incredible vehicles I own one myself and I’m never switching brands. I do however do a trade in every 2 years and get a new one so I’ve never had any issues.
I'll take my 24 Colorado ZR2 with dual lockers
Thanks for a great review. Leaning away from the Cadillac CT5 and toward the KIA K5 EX
Thanks! CT5 is more money. I assume you were looking at the CT5 with the turbo 4 cylinder. The K5 is hard to beat for the money. Thanks for tuning in.
Just a shame the security is so weak; so easy to steal!
@@jimguzell4993 thank you yes, but now they can pop off your front light plastic and hack through the electronics from there. I want to try the remote battery disconnect.
Great In-Depth Review! Appreciate you showing the tilt feature on the Moonroof. Most reviewers dont show it or don't know how it works. Very detailed information.
Thanks! Thank you for tuning in and the feedback. Much appreciated 👍
Does it have the TSS 3.0 ? Ok. I heard you say TSS 2.5 still. Kind of scary that the 2026 trims will be all hybrid.
My 2024 XLE FWD gets even better gas mileage. 30mpg city, 40 mpg highway, on my recent 900 mile trip. Beautiful road trip car.
Looks like a 2024 model, as 2025 model has paddle shifter on steering column
It’s a 25. Check the window sticker in the video.
My daughter is picking one up in a couple weeks. Really good car.
It is. Top notch affordable car. Thanks for tuning in.
Excellent vehicle. Blue chip!! I would avoid sun roof and AW D , think they may be packed into one of the two option packages. A plus is excellent resale value. And value is the word, here. Much more refined than when vehicle was introduced! Excellent review, as usual!
Thanks Louis! Appreciate the support.
Like you said no changes for 2025. I also think that is a good thing. The drive train has proven reliability so why change it. This is a great SUV. I wouldn't be surprised if the 2026 was a new redesign with the all hybrid system like they did to the Camry. Excellent review. 👍
Thanks Jack. Toyota indicated that there will be an engine change in 26. Not sure what that looks like yet, but we’ll see.
I wouldn't be surprised if you're correct but that hybrid only option is nonsense.
Yeah! My gut tells me it’s coming.
Loud wind noise, loud road noise, and firm ride. Hard pass.
Correct. Very overrated vehicle.
Yep! I own one. I'll add a couple things: Cramped right side leg room. I'm 5 foot 10 and my right knee it's always making uncomfortable contact with the console. Also, considering technology in 2024, the lack of windshield wiper speeds sucks ass. Really sucks ass... Seats and headrests aren't very comfortable, head rests are tilted too far forward. I liked my 03 Camry much better, but after 23 rust belt Winters, the the rear cross member was starting to rust through and I didn't feel safe driving it this winter. I'll live with the shortcomings of the RAV4 in hopes of similar reliability.
2024 SE with premium package, $27,000 brand new in socal lol weird how they increased premium package an extra $1000
They just keep going up and up and up. Thanks for tuning in.
Realistically, this might be my next car, equipped as it is.
It’s a nice package. Thanks for tuning in.
26k
1st 🎉🎉🎉
it's 11 gallon fuel tank in the R/T, the GT is 13 gallons.
I got a 36 month lease with 1000 down and 12k miles per year at 400 a month taxes in. 24 gt with gt2 package.
Why is the thumbnail not a lyric
I tried out AI thumbnails that I quickly jettisoned since they were crap. Lesson learned.
Perfect a handsome simple truck that doesn’t need 2 lanes or 2 parking spots. The cactus gray with the black trim looks great.
I am test driving one this week. I tried a Sonata N Line with the same engine. Loved it, but no ventilated seats or heated steering wheel, no 360 camera or blind spot monitors. Not even an option. I have a loaded Sante Fe, 2018, so getting away from AWD is a concern in Maine. Too bad they won't do this with AWD. I also agree on the green stitching....should be on the dash & steering wheel. No ambient lighting? No remote smart parking assist? For the same price, they have the fairly quick Sportage hybrid 227 hp, Prestige SX, with all of that. A lot to consider.
I hate that the turn signals are in the bumper
So no changes from 2024
great video!
Thanks! Thank you for tuning in 👍
Liked the review. I've been watching tons of them. I've had 9 BMW's and am ready to not pay so much for a vehicle. This one has my attention. But, I've never driven or even been in a KIA before (let alone a Sorento). Curious... what are your thoughts on what I should expect in the overall experience? Also, no heads up display? Or, is it an option? I know the price is great in comparison but would love to know what I may not be thinking of that I should consider when considering this switch. Thanks for the great information! Also, is there planned to be a body redesign for 2026 or was 2025 their redesign?
Thanks! 25 is the redesign year for Sorento. No HUD offered. The two big differences coming from BMW will be interior quality and driving experience. Kia is non-premium mass market, so the interior materials are cheaper than BMW and the drive will have vague steering and it will wallow in the corners. The Sorento is a nice vehicle, but not close to the BMW. So you’ll need to adjust your expectations. I hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in.
Wouldn’t get the GT due to it not coming in manual. Manual transmissions are a lot cheaper to repair.
I refer to my outback as a crossover, between a STATION WAGON and an SUV , I feel that is the best way to describe this vehicle because unlike any other SUV it has a distinctive station wagony look to it
