DimensiiioN this flat 4 is faster than the previous flat 6 atmo ! And lower fuel running! So It's all good in my book 😎
I think the front fascia from the 981 variants (S & GTS) look better than the new 718.

As a Boxster S owner Porsche needs to come up with a modern bullet proof engine design that will last well over 100,000 miles the older Boxsters like mine start having problems at 60,000 miles and the resale on them SUCKS for this reason.

Sorry, but I love my 981, I love the sound of the boxer flat 6, the exterior facelift does not look like an improvement to me and I would not pay € 80k for a 4 cylinder turbo, just because they are trying to sell it as the new 718. And honestly, using the speakers to create an appropriate engine sound is undignified.

the most important highlight is not available, and that's the inline 6 engine, the heart of the car matters alot, really well done to have redline around 7400 rpm with just 4 cylinder turbo engine, but again NA 6 was in whole diffrent level of sound and feeling you get, the looks of the front I prefer the old one but the back definitely this, I will keep my Cayman GTS i guess, can't ignore not having this engine ☺

IDK why against the Turbo comments. The 911 Turbo has been the Alpha and it has finally leaked to the cheaper cars.

It is sad to go to a small 4 cylinder engine.
oggie88 so With twin turbo Porche can reduce the size of the Engine by maintaining the performance and power. Turbocharger can make engine smaller at the same time it can pump more air(more air means more power) same as the older big liter engine.
Star Wars?
Don't kill the N/A cars. They are better for being a true driver. Turbo kills it for more torque. Offer both sides and it will be better for everyone (turbo and N/A).
I prefer the design of the old one.
