@@julienpontus3225 I only play best of one so I don't really have opportunity for sideboarding.
When necromentia whiffs it's the lowest of lows, but when it connects it's definitely the highest of highs. If I can predict someone's deck in the first 3 turns and delete all 4 copies of their wincons they usually scoop then and there. This isn't always possible but happens more often than you'd imagine.
I know good decks have more than 1 wincon but I think the current prerotation setlist doesn't have as much to offer in that realm so most people gamble on one big one.
Definitely started watching more magic than playing after I discovered your channel, mainly cause you play much better than me, and even when you make mistakes or get screwed by the deck, it isn't as tilting when it's happening to me personally.

This “if opponent has eight cards in graveyard” mechanic is all over the place in Zendikar too.
Hey CGB! Definitely been living Magic vicariously through you for the last few months now - I was finding it difficult to limit my play to less than 3 hours a day when I really didn't have the time. I have a pretty addictive personality and go all in on many things in my life and playing Arena so much was starting to become a problem. So I built 10 Ravnican Guilds paper decks (low powered but fun and thematic) which see a bit of play with my family, but the rest of the MTG gap gets filled with watching your videos.

I sadly cant play arena because my computer isnt good enough to play a card game apparently, but i watch all the videos here. Its that sweet spot between salty, sassy and casual competitiveness that i like. So yes big fan :P

Stopped playing entirely for a month or two but kept watching your vids every day. Started logging in from time to time again but only to spam a variation of your Lurrus land destruction deck (removed Lurrus/Once and Future and recur spells with Lore Drakis on Paradise Druids instead). So your videos help me get through my work day when it's boring and your evil land destruction deck helps me blow off steam when work is frustrating. You rock dude.
I honestly haven't play arena in months. Your content is the only reason I'm paying attention to standard at all honestly :D
This deck is cool here, and it's going to get such an upgrade in a few weeks. It's going to be SUPER agro. I really think it may pass mono red as THE turbo agro deck of ZNR standard, which is pretty neat for Dimir.

Uro punishes the rogues so hard. If simic adventure is still top dog or a new ramp deck emerges rogues will be a sad fun deck and not much more

Making rogues work before ZR in mythic is astounding. The best part of this video was when you missed petty theft on the banishing light, then acknowledged it directly after.
Do you have a decklist for post ZR rogues? I'm struggling with my build. Not sure how high to go on the creature count. Really only wanting to play the enforcer in 1 drop, curious what you recommend. Thank you again.

I've been playing this for months, on and off. It really is good, but with Zendikar it's going to be the next tempo deck.
What do you say about secretkeeper as blue one drop?
Considering you'll want to use its Adventure first, it's really a two-drop when you think about it.
More importantly, it doesn't kill your opponent. We're less "mill you out" and more "turn on Enforcer and beat face." Even Apprentice - despite CGB's complaints - has a point of power and two toughness to get in there or to kill tokens.

So some options to add in this deck that would work really well depending on formats for 2021 you could use - 'Teferi's Tutelage' force milling whenever you draw a card. Then you have 'Bruvac the Grandiloquent' from Jumpstart and I understand it's not a Rogue card but you can't go past a card that provides you with a doubling of all opponent mills.
Then if you aren't just considering Standard 2021 and thinking about other formats you can use the following two Sorcery's - 'Mind Funeral' and 'Mind Grind'. Finally again there is the option of 'Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker' but obviously he is not a rogue but still a good option in the deck as this alone can win a game when an opponent has less than four land cards in their library. If they can't find the required four lands they are forced to mill their library to zero and hence loose the game.
This is a really cool deck CGB. I'm thinking for a while now how t get into Dimir, I think, that's the one for me :)
Also, the Enforcer is going to be great in a Orzhov party deck. What do you think?

Upbeat for the win! To me, that's actually what makes you stand out from other mtg creators, who just focus on playing well and can get a bit boring. Of course, you don't have to be upbeat if you don't feel like it. Real is always better.

Right now my list is more Flash focused with incidental mill from a large amount of Rogues in the deck too.

I've made a very similar deck a while back and something that really sucked in this deck was the mana base. One card that escaped me was into the story, haven't tried it, will give it a chance later. Nice video btw, gz!
I also thinking it's worth it to play some counterspells.
I've been playing a similar list with flash over the gargoyles and vantress, but even in 2c the mana is so bad. Having a actual curve and tap lands puts rogues and flash way behind tournament grounds or mono atm imo. Hopefully the zendikar duals will help a little bit, but the requirements for trips black double blue means playing very wierd in UB atm
Do you think it could be worth adding something like cling to dust to be able to mill and exile the uro as you go, if you will?

I like analytical CGB with some snappy remarks (and a guest starring of evil CGB once in a while).
But I guess we enjoy the most when you enjoy yourself, do what comes natural to you.
This deck's many variations will be something to look out for this 2021 standard.
All-in mill, all-in rogues, and Flash could be the bigger builds for Dimir. Definitely a force to fear.
I don't see how this deck is gonna improve with Zendikar. What would you replace or adjust?
Cool note, if you call of the death dweller 2 enforcers, they both proc off each other instantly and mill 8 at once.

Figure most people either play standard ranked or historic, love the deck but always some support which it will get in Zendikar, however if there is a sideboard i would be including cling to dust just because of Uro, Kroxa and Woe Strider.

I play no Arena whatsoever. But it's nice to watch these games, to me. Nice leisure time or dinner watching. And I feel like it improves my game also for analogue playing (which I do still do).
Beeing rolling similar deck right after m21 go relesead. Its huge fun! I made it a full flash rofues + 4 slithrwhisps, amazing cazrd draw and drain, whit cunning nightbonder to reduce price of flash spells to 1, omen for the see for example.
That drown in the loch is gonna be usefull with the rouge deck and against cycling.

I watch more arena than I play, mainly because I'm trying to find a replacement for my old Red/Black sacrifice deck. I miss Priest of the Forgotten Gods and I'm trying to find a good replacement.
This Dimir deck looked really fun so I might construct it and see if it's my cup of tea. :)
Are there any good Golgari or Simic decks out there? I've never seen a well drafted Golgari so I'm hoping the Master of Brew (aka CGB) can create something that'd work and leave everyone with a smile.

I like midnight clock + dream trawler. But yeah, its hard to get off. Awesome when it does though, especially when the turn before it goes off with ECD's 3rd counter and you just discarded a second trawler to the one already in play.

I remember that game at 41:40, bad hand and bad draws even with that stormfist. That knights deck is probably a diamond 1 deck at best, looking forward to busting out the Vantress again with Rankle
Caffeinated CGB hating on cycling is pretty cool, can't really be chill against that.
I'm also pretty excited about the tribal support that's probably coming with the future sets, rogues are looking really nice with zendikar. Already crafted a full set of enforcers, I really wanna try out rogues in the new standard.
I've been playing a very similar deck for a while now, pretty much since I laid my eyes on TGE. Although I'm also running a couple copies of Yorion and Command the Dreadhorde. Yorion to flicker all the lovely rogues and when the opponent wipes the board, bring them back and get all the lovely triggers. Several times I've been able to mill over half the deck in one turn.
I've been playing that deck since the format M2021 is available, but with the full mill kill. Basically you play Extinction Event (instead of Rankle) and Teferi's Tutelage (instead of the Gargoyle) , and most of the time you kill with milling.
