Including the card and it’s text in the videos will help infinitely. A lot of the rulings and questions you provide are easily solved by reading card text. Some people don’t have the card text perfectly memorized and are watching in a scenario without the ability to look the card up while keeping the video up.
This would be nice actually. Just put up the text and read aloud at a good pausing point to then think about the scenario. I mainly look/listen to videos when I drive I'm probably partial to this lol

Hey, I actually didn’t know you CANNOT force someone to resolve a card. I don’t think it came up for me in my yugioh playing days but I’m certain people have tried to force others to resolve a card even tho their target was not legal. Good thing to keep in mind! Don’t get cheated y’all!
Yeah one or both players would get a PE Minor then the illegal card would be taken back and play would resume. They can't force you to follow through with the activation if it targets an illegal target for cost either. The entire activation cannot happen and therefore is rewinded.

Simulators are very useful for new players because they get almost every ruling right, and even when they don't people report it and they fix it. However, if you see a ruling that's a bit sus on the simulator you can always ask in the discord whether it's a mistake or not. Do keep in mind though that most simulators use OCG text and OCG rulings, although there may be options for TCG text and TCG rulings.
In the Ghost Belle and Toad example, would Toad still go to the graveyard since it was sent as cost? Or would ghost belle completely negate the whole scenario?
For the toad case, if you control dark law, can they still belle toad? If dark law is summoned after belle is activated, she should still negate, right?

Doesn't toad get negated by belle anyway because of toad having the effect to add a water monster to hand from gy, because belle states when a card or effect is activated that includes add from gy to hand, deck, and/or extra deck.

The first ruling (Redoer) seems highly similar to the third ruling (Toad vs Belle) to me. Toad does not specify that the card it destroys is special summoned from the graveyard specifically. If I were to chain Macro Cosmos after I activate Toad, the negated card should still be special summoned, right? So how is the activation of Belle in response still legal?
The chain would have to resolve for macro cosmos to be live, and toad would be in grave prior to macro cosmos being live. And where macro cosmos is not an ignition effect, your opponent would have priority to respond to toad as c2

Afaik, if a card is specified to sent / be sent to GY, it cannot be activated when macro cosmos, dimensional fissure and dimensional shifter is on effect. So belle and toad cant activate.
Ruling question..op uses elf target toad..I have no monsters on field. Does that fall into the "illegal game action" thing where instead of him having to resolve elf for a legal target he can just not use elf?

Redoer's materials are detached as part of the effect, that is why the materials stay attached. If the materials detach for cost, like with Gear Gigant, that is done before Ash is ever chained.
Hey Tombox I really enjoy these ruling videos and I would be happy if you can answer my question. I was dueling a Burning Abyss deck and in the end phase my opponent had 7 cards in hand so he discarded Fiendish Rhino Warrior and then activated its effect sating that the monster effect was triggered even though it was discarded to meet the hand size limit. Is he allowed to do that?

Toad CANNOT negate a Pendulum Scale's activated effect on the field because it only negates Spell/Trap Activations (just like Judgment) About Elf to my knowledge most people -playing it- forget that it cannot be used as a link material the turn it's summoned, rather that the targeting protection. Simulators are to blame for "force someone resolve their card", but other than that I really like how accurate is Master Duel about most rulings, especially since a lot get eventually backed up by official OCG inputs in the database.

To add on that, if the negator is Toad, neither place matters since Toad could still set the destroyed card, and Belle/Solemn warning can ALWAYS activate when Toad responds to a monster effect, even if said monster would not end up in the GY, according to OCG rulings. Toad only has to destroy the card to satisfy its "then" conjuction. TLDR; the negated and destroyed monster doesn't have to get to the GY in order for Belle to be activatable against Toad.

It depends on the exact wording. If the card forces you to choose when it is activated, then you cannot always use Ash Blossom (for example, if they use Triple Tactics Talents and choose the steal or hand rip effect). Time Thief Redoer and Shaddoll Fusion let you choose to move cards from the deck at resolution, so you can Ash those.
Another interesting ruling involves the knightmare packape. You can ash them if they are co-linked since they would draw a card but if they are not co-linked then you cant ash them.

B) Toadally Awesome's second effect (the negation effect) is split into two parts, the first being "negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card," and the other being "then you can Set it to your field." Maybe, the 3 cards that held their value are ultimate slayer, tear field spell and blue. But those are all cards that have had weird clumping issues where you’ll either pull a lot of blues and 1 field spell or a lot of field spells but 1 blue

1) no, cause you choose during activation so the game knows if you're trying remove a card from the GY. 2) kaspitell is mandatory as long as there is an exosister as material.

It's one attacking monster which matter because you can attack twice with that monster
Remember than toad negates by sending an aqua monster to the grave, thus you can't send aquamancer (spellcaster) as cost.

Yes, it would fall under that. The activation was illegal then. As the target was illegal. He does not need to proceed.
