  • Join us in this episode as we take you along on a tour of Peru's amazing COLCA CANYON - the second deepest canyon in the world!
There are many ways to discover the Colca Canyon - most popular by hiking the rim-to-rim trail, or on a 1-day tour if you are short on time. We opted for the 2D1N tour which gave us more time to explore this amazing place and visit some attractions that are slightly more off the beaten path.
    Top 10 things to do:
    1. See hundreds of wild vicuñas, the rarest South American camel, at Aguada Blanca National Reserve
    2. Try some traditional Inca tea
    3. Reach the breathtaking viewpoint of the 6 sacred volcanoes around Arequipa, and make an offering by building a rock cairn
    4. Try some local cuisine in some of the small towns along the way
    5. Take a dip in the relaxing hot springs
    6. Enjoy a performance of the traditional Wititi Dance of the Colca Valley
    7. Stop and admire the scenery at some of the numerous viewpoints of the Colca Canyon
    8. Have a close encounter with the Andean Condors, the world's largest flying bird!
    9. Try some sancayo - either as a fruit, ice cream or in a colca sour
    10. Pet a baby alpaca

Hello i was wondering how was the internet coverage in peru, especially in the mountains, treks and small village mountains. what mobile operator were you using or recommanding in those places for internet ? love the vlogs, thank you :)

We bought Claro SIM cards when we arrived in Peru. Internet is pretty decent and stable in the bigger cities and towns, but completely non-existent in the mountains! Even towns like Huaraz sometimes didn’t have working network some days… challenging but worth every second of it 🥰

Colca Valley is so underrated! As we always say, Peru is not just Machu Picchu, so many other amazing places! 🥰
