I wanted to ask something as well. The altitude in Cusco…is it doable for a 10 year old? I have anxiety as well now I am a bit concerned about going to Machu Pichu. I want to see it so bad but im scared my anxiety will get the best of me feeling the altitude sickness and chest tightness to the point it drives me crazy. Was it pretty doable or was it super harsh?

Hiya the water fountain in the main square is the original and was put there by Francisco Pizarro, Peru’s Spanish Conquistador in 1535 when he founded the city. I hope you liked Lima and Peru, maybe one day you’ll come back, it’s inexpensive and affordable if you come with US dollars, it’s circa 1/3 of USA prices for accommodation, transport and food

I had less than a month to plan my Perú trip now happening in 2 days so I wasn’t complaining too much about spending $996 for a 4 day/3 night itinerary with a travel agency but now looking at this video I’m rethinking my plans 🫣

Hi Chews! Thank you so much for the informative content. I used your video as the basis for my research into traveling to Peru and I can say we are here due in part to you❤ However, I just have to warn other travelers that might stumble across your content and fly with JETSMART like we did. JETSMART is by far the worst airline I’ve ever flown with. Our flight from Lima to Cusco was delayed by 3hrs with little to no explanation and then again when we were flying back from Cusco to Lima our flight was cancelled. They sent us an email only a few hours to our flight after several attempts to check-in were unsuccessful. There was no one from JETSMART at the airport to offer assistance and the email only had a link to get a gift voucher as a refund. We met many other stranded travelers who flew with JETSMART to save on cost. But I promise you, spend a few more dollars and save your peace of mind.

Peruvian here, i think people should risk staying in Ica two days, the first day use it to go Paracas and Huacachina (to do the tubulares and sandbording) and the second day to do the Pisco route and visit the Nazca Lines or visit the beachs

Aside from being a beautiful couple, you guys are amazing . Your video is informative and inspiring. My wife and I are considering of going to Peru in 2024 or 2025 in a cruise. However, I’m trying to convince my wife we should fly into Lima and stay for 7-10 days in Peru so we can see more of Peru on our time. How long were you there? What concerns us is finding good hotels as well safe drivers. By the way, we are in late 70’s so we won’t be able to do some of the things you guys did. Thank you for your informative video. We liked and subscribed to your channel. I don’t think we would use Smart airlines after reading one of the comments.

We flew with Jet Smart and Latam. Also the drone is the DJI Mini 3pro

What drone you used, can you take drone and selfie stick to Machu Picchu?
The equipment I use is linked in my description unfortunately you cannot use a drone or selfie stick in machu picchu that is why i have no drone footage there
